Prince Amrothos, Lord's Huor, Mercer, Madam Lilith and Haldar were invited by the Queen to visit the village outside the castle grounds. When they arrived Queen Amie introduced them to the shopkeepers, prominent citizens and other locals. The people were happy to meet their Queen's mother and brother and they were also happy to learn Lord Uri married Lord Mercer's daughter, who's Lord Huor's granddaughter.

"When Ana met Lord Mercer today she said to him...," Amie told her husband in their bedroom that night.

The next morning King Adair met with his Queen, Madam's Lilith and Elan in his office.
"You and Queen Amie have just found out your daughter is a seer-witch your Majesty and your Grace," Elan told them.
"Do you know what Ana meant Elan?" the King asked.
"I can only guess your Majesty," she answered and told him what she thinks Ana meant.

When Lord Uri and Lady Lindra returned from their honeymoon, Lady Lindra immersed herself in her duties to her Queen with the help of the other Ladies of the Queen's Court.
Haldar spent most of his time with his niece and nephew. He'd come to love them very much.
King Adair signed a Royal Decree making Madam Lilith, Lady Lilith of the North, who's now a citizen of the North. A feast was held in her honor.
"You look beautiful Lady Lilith," Elan said with a curtsy. Elan saw Lady Lilith's garnet stones woven throughout her hair, but without any diamonds. However, she wore a diamond necklace with a matching diamond bracelet.
"Why no diamonds in your hair Lady Lilith?" Elan asked.
"I have plenty of diamonds Madam Elan," she answered.
Elan and Lady Lilith both laughed.
The Lords and Ladies of the North, Lord's Huor and Mercer welcomed Lady Lilith into the Nobility. Prince Amrothos raised his glass to her.
Laura and Yána smiled at their Lady.

A few days later Lord Casmir escorted Prince Amrothos, Lord Huor and Haldar into the Throne Room.
The three men bowed to the King.
King Adair wished them a safe journey home.
Lord Huor and Haldar thanked his Majesty for everything.
The King then turned and gave a nod to his Lord.
Lord Casmir walked up to Prince Amrothos and handed him two letters and then escorted them out of the Throne Room.

Haldar hugged and kissed his sister, mother, niece and nephew and said his good-byes.
His sister and mother told him they love him and to take care of himself and they'll write to him.
Lady Lindra also hugged and kissed her grandfather good-bye and thanked him for coming.
Lord Mercer also thanked his former father-in-law for coming.
Lord Uri told Lord Huor he'll see him again.

Dol Amroth
"How was your trip?" Prince Imrahil asked Amrothos when he walked into the dining room.
During dinner Amrothos told his father, brother and sister-in-law about his second trip to the North. He also told his father about the two letters his was given.
Prince Imrahil read his letter from King Adair when he returned to his office after dinner.
Early the next morning he sent a messenger to Minas Tirith.

Minas Tirith – Three Weeks Later – King Elessar's Office
Prince Imrahil bowed to his liege when he walked into his office and took his usual seat.
"It appears a 4 year old girl has solved the mystery to what happened to Lord Adan when she said to Lord Mercer: water. It was Madam Elan who told her King and Queen what she thought their daughter meant – which is that Lord Mercer's father is still alive and she surmised he's on one of the islands in the Belegaer sea."
"From which he can't escape because he's surrounded by water," Prince Imrahil replied. "Apparently they're no ships that go to that island."
"I wonder if he's on Tol Falas?" King Elessar asked.
"Tol Falas is to close to Gondor. Lord Adan has been missing for many years and whoever abducted him made sure he'll never return to Gondor," Imrahil answered.
"The islands off Umbar?" King Elessar asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Perhaps," Prince Imrahil answered. "Lord Adan was taken to his destination by a smuggler's ship and the Captain and crew were paid handsomely to keep quiet."
"I want Tol Falas and all the islands off Umbar searched for Lord Adan," Elessar said.

South Gondor – Lord Balin's Home
When Lord Delmar saw Lord Huor walk into the Salon of Lord Balin's home he felt a sense of doom.
"Lord Huor has returned," Lord Balin said aloud smiling. "Tell us about the North and the wedding."
Lord Huor told those assembled about the lands, the people, the castle, the castle grounds and the wedding. He saw a few envious looks when he told them their family and Lord Uri's family sat at the High Table with the King and Queen.
"The wedding feast was held in the King's private garden?" Lord Delmar asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes my Lord and it was a beautiful day," Lord Huor answered with a smile.
"Where are Lord Mercer and Lady Lindra now living?" Lord Galir asked.
"They live in the castle and have their own suite of rooms, which consists of...," Lord Huor answered. "Lord Mercer also lives in the castle and he too has his own suite of rooms. The night before we left I had dinner with Lord Uri and my granddaughter. Lord Mercer was also there."
"The castle and grounds sound beautiful," Lady Haleth said. Thinking she'll love to see the large castle in the magnificent forest high above the trees overlooking the sea with a waterfall nearby.

Three Months Later
Prince Imrahil was told that there are only a few hundred inhabitants on Tol Falas and no one there has heard of Lord Adan, and the entire island was also searched. After he sent a report to his liege regarding Tol Falas, the Prince ordered ships to the islands off Umbar, which are now part of King Elessar's Kingdom along with Umbar.

Minas Tirith – Seven Months Later – King Elessar's Office
"The many islands off Umbar are sparsely populated and the inhabitants said no one has been to their islands until the Swam Knights arrived. The inhabitants on the two larger islands said the same," Prince Imrahil told his liege. "The Swan Knights searched all those islands and found no trace of Lord Adan."
"We were at war with the Corsairs during that time and they would've seized any ship from Gondor," King Elessar said. "Where did the smuggler's travel at that time?"
"North to Lond Daer," Prince Imrahil answered.
"North?" Elessar asked with a raised eyebrow. "How many islands are in the North?"
"Three," Imrahil answered. "Those islands are part of King Adair's Kingdom," Imrahil answered.

The North
"This just came from Prince Erchirion at Annúminas your Majesty," Lord Casmir said when he walked into the King's office and handed him a sealed parchment.
King Adair saw King Elessar's Royal Seal.

"My Lord," one of the Royal Messenger's of the North said with a bow when summoned.
Lord Casmir handed a parchment to the Royal Messenger with his instructions.

King Adair's Office – Eight Days Later
King Adair commanded Lady Lilith tell Lord Caldor the story of Lord Mercer's father.
Queen Amie, Lord Uri and Elan were also present.
Lady Lilith nodded to her King and told Lord Caldor the story.
On her King's command, then Elan told Lord's Caldor and Uri what Princess Ana said to Lord Mercer and what she thinks happened to Lord Adan.
"My daughter is a seer-witch," King Adair told them. "I sent a letter to King Elessar telling him what Ana said to Lord Mercer. King Elessar had Prince Imrahil send ships to all the islands in the South looking for Lord Adan, but to know avail. They're three islands in the North which are part of my Kingdom and King Elessar sent me a letter asking me to send ships to those islands to search for Lord Adan."
"Does Lord Mercer know any of this your Majesty?" Uri asked.
"No my Lord," he answered. "We'll tell him and Lady Lindra after we find his father."
"Some of our people settled on the large island over 100 years ago your Majesty," Lord Caldor said.
"I want all those islands searched, but I want you to go to the large island. The other large ship will go to the island that's further away and send a small ship to the island near us," King Adair told Lord Caldor.

Tol Fuin – A Weeks Later
The Northmen settled on the Northern and Southern part of the island. Lord Caldor and his men searched the Southern part of the island first and was told no strangers had come to that part of the island.
Lord Caldor looked around when he and a contingent of Royal Guards rowed ashore on the Northern part of the island days later. He walked up to the man who stood in front of the others.
"I'm looking for the village elder," Lord Caldor said to the man.
"My name is Aron and I'm the village elder," the man replied.
"I'm Lord Caldor and I was sent by our King," he told the man.
Aron and the others bowed to one of the Lord's of the North.
Lord Caldor then told Aron why he's there.
"When I was young boy my father and a few other men in the village found a man on the shore and my father brought him to our home. He didn't speak our language and was dressed strangely, but my father and others helped him learn our ways and our language," Aron to Lord Caldor.
"Where can I find this man?" Lord Caldor asked.
"He doesn't live far from here my Lord and I'll take you to him," Aron answered.

An old man was sitting at a small table outside his home having a cup of tea when he saw Aron leading strangers to his home. He put his tea cup on the table and stood up when Aron and the others approached.
"Lord Adan," Lord Caldor said when he walked up to the old man.
"I haven't heard Westron in many years," Lord Adan replied stunned. "Who are you?"
"My name is Lord Caldor and I'm one of the Lords of the North," he answered.
"How did you find me?" Lord Adam asked still taken aback.
"My King will answer all your questions," he answered. "These soldiers are part of the King's Guard and they'll take your belongings to my ship."
Before Lord Adan departed the island he thanked everyone for the kindness.
The Northmen watched as the old man sailed away on a mighty ship.

"Lord Adan of Gondor," Lord Casmir announced when they entered the Throne Room.
"Your Majesty," Lord Adan said when he approached the King's Throne and bowed to King Adair.
"You'll be my guest until a ship arrives from Gondor to take you home Lord Adan. Lord Casmir will show you to your suite of rooms and help you with anything you need," King Adair told him.
"Thank you, your Majesty," Lord Adan replied and bowed again.

"How's Lord Adan?" King Adair asked Lord Casmir.
"He had a bath, changed clothes and had lunch. He only had a few clothes in his sack," he answered.
"Tell Elan to see to it that Lord Adan has proper clothes to wear that's fit for a Lord, and...," King Adair said.
"Yes your Majesty," Lord Casmir replied, nodded to his liege and left his office.

King Adair's Conference Room – The Next Morning
"Your father is alive Lord Mercer," King Adair told him.
Lady Lindra looked at her father with wide-eyes.
"Do you know where he is your Majesty?" Lord Mercer asked with a stunned look on his face.
"When Princess Ana said water to you, she was telling you where your father was," King Adair answered. "Lord Casmir."
Lord Casmir got up from his chair, walked to the door, opened it and nodded to someone outside.
"Lord Adan meet your son, Lord Mercer," King Adair said when an old man walked into the room.
Lord Adan is dressed like a Lord.
"Mercer," Lord Adan said when a man stood up and looked at him.
"Father?" he asked with his mouth open.
"Yes son," he answered.
Lord Mercer ran to his father and the two men embraced – and they both wept.

"Father," Lady Lindra said softly after the two men finished weeping. She'd never seen her father cry and she too had tears in her eyes.
The two men broke their embrace.
"Father this is my daughter, Lindra, your granddaughter," he said.
"You were the woman in my dreams, but I didn't see your face and you're the one who avenged me. You're the image of your grandmother, Mercer's mother, and you are just as beautiful as she was," Lord Adan told his granddaughter.
"Thank you grandfather," she said with a smile.
"This is Lord Uri, the Lord of the East and Lady Lindra's husband," King Adair told Lord Adan.
"My Lord," Lord Uri said with a nod.
"My Lord," Lord Adan replied also with a nod. He took a seat next to his son.
"Where have you been all these years father?" Lord Mercer asked after he wiped the tears from his eyes.
"On an island not far from here," he answered. "Why are you here Mercer?"
Lord Mercer told his father the story of his life.
"That whore has been living in my home all these years?" Lord Adan asked in an angry tone.
"Grandfather," Lady Lindra said surprised.
"She's always been a whore and my brother was in a great deal debt to her. When he married her and gave her a title, those debts were paid," Lord Adan told his granddaughter.
That's why Lady Rian is never invited to the other Nobles homes, King Adair thought. "You refused to pay your brother's debts," King Adair said.
"Yes your Majesty," he replied.
"Lord Adan I think you should go with Lord Uri and Lady Lindra to their suite of rooms so they can introduced you to your great grandson, Lord Dimitri," King Adair said.
Lord Adan's surprised he has a great grandson.

Lord Casmir handed three letters to a Royal Messenger the next morning.

King Adair is hosting a dinner for Lord Adan in his private dining room and introduced him to his and his Queen's Court.
"How do you like living here Lady Lilith?" Lord Adan asked.
"I'm with my daughter and grandchildren and I'm very happy," she answered beaming. "I sold everything before I left Gondor, except my smaller home where my son now lives."
"You cut all ties to Gondor?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I have no regrets Lord Adan," she answered.
"My son is also happy here. I realized there was nothing for Mercer and Lindra in Gondor. Lindra is happily married, has a beautiful son and she's part of a Queen's Court. It's because of my son and granddaughter being here that I was found," Lord Adan told her.

King Elessar was happy to learn that Lord Alan was found on one of the islands in the North and Lord Adan is well. They will answer to me, he thought when he continued reading the parchment from King Adair.
Queen Arwen smiled when her King and husband told her that King Adair and Queen Amie have another son.

Éomer King laughed when his Queen read part of the letter from Queen Amie, that when Prince Doran met his younger brother shortly after he was born, he told him he's going to be King one day and not him.

"...and Lord Uri and Lady Lindra also had a son. Lord Balar and Lady Jaya had a daughter a few weeks later," Faramir told Éowyn.
Éowyn is happy for all of them.

Prince Faramir handed a letter to a Royal Messenger after meeting with King Elessar and Prince Imrahil.

The North
King Adair told Lord Adan when Prince Imrahil and his ship should arrive in the North to take him back to Gondor. He also told him when Prince Amrothos will arrive with Lord Huor.

Lord Balar met Prince Imrahil at the harbour when he arrived in the North ten days later and escorted him and his company of Swan Knights to the castle.
Prince Imrahil keen eyes didn't miss anything while they were riding to the castle. When he arrived on the castle grounds he felt there's more to these grounds than met the eye; but he never saw the many guards watching everyone on the grounds, nor where they were.
The Prince was met by Lord Casmir when he arrived at the castle who escorted him to the Throne Room.
After Prince Imrahil left the Throne Room he was to his suite of rooms where he had a meal, a hot bath and then he retired for the evening.

"Your Majesty," Prince Imrahil said with a bow when he was shown into King Adair's office the next morning.
"Have a seat your Highness," King Adair said pointing to one of the chairs in front of his desk.
After Prince Imrahil sat he told King Adair the other reasons his King is sending Lord Huor to the North, and King Elessar has put him in charge of this entire matter.

Lord Casmir escorted Lord's Adan and Mercer into the King's conference room a few days later. When they entered they bowed to King Adair, and Lord Mercer bowed to Prince Imrahil.
King Adair told Lord Adan who the other man is in the room.
Lord Adan also bowed to the Prince of Dol Amroth. He didn't the Princes' father had died.
King Adair nodded to Prince Imrahil after the two men sat.
"Tell me everything from the beginning Lord Adan," Prince Imrahil said.
"One day my brother came to me and told me he was in a great deal of debt and asked me if I would pay his debts. I asked him how he came to be in a great deal of debt, but he only told me he gambled and lost. After I lectured him I told him to pay his own debts. Shortly thereafter someone sent me a letter telling me that my bother has been seeing a woman named Rian and she was and what she did for a living. After I received that letter I went to see my advisers and showed them the letter. One of them told me what was in the letter is true, and that my brother also had large gambling debts he couldn't pay. On their advice I hired someone they knew to look into my brother's affairs. A few months later I received a letter from my advisers and I went to see them again. When I arrived they give me a complete report detailing where my brother spent most of his nights and where he spent his time gambling.
When I returned home I sent word to my brother that I wanted to see him. When he arrived he had a beautiful young woman with them, but she had a hard look about her and a very cruel smile. He told me her name was Rian. I confronted both of them and told my brother to take his whore and leave my home. Rian came to see me sometime later and told me I was going to pay my brother's debts one way or another. Then she informed me she paid my brother's gambling debts and she wanted me to sign over the title to my lands to my brother. I told her that will never happen and then I had her escorted out of my home. I took the report from my advisers and the title to my lands and hid them.
While I was riding home one evening I was overtaken by six riders and two pulled me from my horse and beat me unconscious. When I woke up I was on a strange island surrounded by men who spoke a different language," Lord Adan told Prince Imrahil.
"Can you tell me about the ship you were on Lord Adan?" Prince Imrahil asked.
"Only that I was in some sort of windowless cell and the door was locked your Highness," he answered. "I remember that every time I was given water to drink I fell asleep."
"Where did you hide the report and the title to your lands Lord Adan?" Imrahil asked.
"I gave them to my son your Highness," he answered.
"Father?" Mercer asked surprised.
"They're in the trunk I left in your bed chambers Mercer," he answered.
"I could never open the trunk," Mercer said.
"I always carried the key with me and I still have it," he replied and took a key on a chain from around his neck.
Lord Adan is very clever, Prince Imrahil thought.
"That trunk is in my suite of rooms," Lord Mercer told them.
"Let's go and get that report and title," King Adair said.

Everyone either bowed or curtsied to their King when he walked by.
A few servants retrieved the trunk and brought it into Lord Mercer's sitting room. Then they bowed to their King and left Lord Mercer's suite of rooms.
Lord Adan opened the trunk and took out the report and title and handed them to Prince Imrahil.
Prince Imrahil read the faded report and the title.
"Thank you Lord Adan," the Prince said and handed the report and title back to Lord Adan.
