Winter's Coming, and so am I. JK

Sorry for not updating last week, guys. I needed a break to cleanse my filth-ridden room.

But, the story is heading into the climax stage, so there will be a lot more action in the next few chapters, hooray for climaxes.

Disclaimer time, let's go Shadow

*stares with his scary red eyes*

O-okay, Fishlegs, Silver, you're up.

Fishlegs and the other Vikings and dragons are owned by DreamWorks...

...And Silver and his friends are owned by SEGA.

Hiccup woke the next day, ready for battle. The Village Council, which was made of the 12 most senior ranked villagers, Hiccup being one of them, had voted to defend Berk from the oncoming threat. The night before, his father had prepped and strengthened the fleet, rebuilt all the catapult towers, gathered every available dragon, and got Gobber to replenish the armory. Hiccup had also built extra armor and weapons as well as helping Tails figure out the technology of the Egg-Dragon. Despite being the pacifist he was, Hiccup knew these abominations weren't living and needed to be destroyed as soon as possible.

He headed out, wearing his riding armor to see villagers moving valuables, food, and family members into the Great Hall. Should anything happen, they'd need to have a second line of defense.

He headed to the forge to find Sonic already waiting for him, giving his signature smirk.

"You're up early, Sonic," Hiccup went to grab his shield, strapping it over his shoulder, and his helmet.

"Yeah, sorry to complain but, your father was snoring louder than usual," Sonic replied.

Hiccup chuckled at this, "Yeah, I've grown an immunity to his snoring,"

Sonic watched as the villagers moved their belongings into the Great Hall. A look of remorse and anger crossed his face.

"Darn Eggman," Sonic cursed.

"Don't worry, we'll handle them," Hiccup reassured.

"That's the problem, Sonic replied, "Because of Eggman, you've been dragged into an unneeded war."

"Don't worry, Sonic. We can do it together," Hiccup reassured.

Sonic stared at Hiccup, "You know what I'm trying to say."

"Yeah, yeah, I know," Hiccup sarcastically remarked, "Anyway, Gobber told me to meet him here. Why, I don't know."

Just then, Gobber and Tails entered the forge, "Ah, there you are laddy, come to check out our work," Gobber chimed.

"What work?" Hiccup and Sonic responded in unison.

Gobber and Tails proceeded to lead Hiccup and Sonic to the docks and show off the interesting new weapon they had made.

"That's advanced," Hiccup complimented. It was a ship, longer, but more slender than a normal viking vessel, constructed out of plates of Gronkle iron, with a large brass ram adorning the bow. It flew two sails on separate masts and had two large paddle wheels on either side.

"Ain't she a beaut?" Gobber proclaimed, "Tails hear, did all the math and science, and I pounded it all out. Quite the team, don't you think?"

Tails rubbed the back of his head and grinned, "Uh, it was nothing, really."

"Nonsense!" Gobber exclaimed, "Now, I think a glass of warm yak milk to celebrate our hard work?" and with that, Gobber and Tails headed back to the forge.

Meanwhile, Hiccup and Sonic examined the vessel more closely, that is, until they heard the twins.

"Woah! This is awesome!" Tuff exclaimed as he marveled at the metal dreadnaught.

"I know, right!" Ruff added in, "It's amazing," she finished with a giggle.

Hiccup and Sonic just sighed at the twins when they started to argue who got dibs to RIDE it first.

"I call dibs!" Tuff shouted.

"No, I call dibs," Ruff retorted.

"No! Me!"

"Me!"

"Me!"

"Me!"

"Guys, would you just stop?" Sonic asked, slightly annoyed.

"Yeah, guys," Hiccup joined him, "You guys are acting like mutton heads."

"Nu-uh, mutton head "statues"," Ruff and Tuff corrected before doing their goofy impression of a mutton head.

Hiccup and Sonic simply facepalmed themselves at this.

kind of short, but give me a break, guys. I can't always write with an excess of 1000 words. I do hope you realize it's just a case of writers block and I still yearn to please you all.

Next chapter should be longer, so don't worry.
