To JamieLynnPhantom: Go ahead! I don't mind.
Prepare for the insanely confusing chapter! Don't worry. It may be confusing but it all makes sense at the end and there's a reason for this.
I don't own Danny Phantom.
Dimension 1
Danny Fenton walked up to his house. Glancing around with blue eyes, he turned the doorknob and entered.
"Mom! Dad! I'm home!"
Maddie and Jack instantly ran up the stairs. "Danny!" They hugged him. "Where have you been? You've been missing for days!"
"I-I-I was… kidnapped by a ghost!" Danny lied. "I managed to escape when he had his back turned!"
Maddie and Jack instantly froze when they heard the word "ghost".
"Ghost? Which one?" Maddie demanded.
"Tell us so we can rip it apart molecule by molecule!" Jack yelled.
Danny was about to respond when he noticed Jazz standing in the doorway. A bit of amusement and… was that anger and hatred?... drifted through his eyes. "I didn't recognize him," Danny said. "He was about six foot two with… uh… electric blue eyes and red and hot pink hair!"
"We'll keep a look out for him!" Jack yelled loudly, forcing Danny to cover his ears due to his sensitive hearing. "No ghost kidnaps my son and gets away with it!"
Danny looked away. "Yeah…"
"In fact, we'll go look for him now!" Maddie yelled, running out the door with Jack not far behind.
A smirk flickered across Danny's face but vanished in a flash. Perfect. He started to walk upstairs, satisfied before he bumped into someone he'd almost forgot was there.
"If a ghost kept you captive for days, it's pretty powerful and you're just letting them go after it like that?" Jazz questioned.
"Jazz, don't worry," Danny said calmly, walking up the stairs with her not too far behind. "I've got this under control."
"You better," his sister said. "We don't want to risk them dying and… that future coming into effect."
Danny didn't turn around for a while. "Jazz, everything's going like I want it to." He opened his door and walked inside, closing the door behind him.
"Okay, I see you've got something planned," Jazz said from the other side of the door. He heard footsteps telling him that she was gone.
A cruel smile formed on his lips and his teeth sharpened into razor sharp fangs as he rubbed his hands together. "Exactly as I want it to." He laughed.
…
"Hey, Danny!" Jack yelled the next morning as Danny walked down the stairs. "Want to see what we worked on while you were gone?"
Danny hesitated. "Uh… um…" His face became blank before he smiled. He had an idea that followed his plan. "Sure!"
"Great!" Jack yelled, dragging his son down the stairs to the lab.
It was messier than Danny remembered, books and papers were strewn everywhere, some covered in gooey green ectoplasm. Some beakers were spilt leaving even more ectoplasm lying around, oozing out of the tubes and dripping onto the floor. Ectoguns and other inventions were littered everywhere, on the shelves, in piles, on the floor. He even tripped over the Fenton Bazooka. Discarded pieces of metal overflowed in the trash can, cluttering the floor in green, gray, and white. The Ghost Portal was wide open, showing the green vortex that reminded Danny of the many portals he had traveled through in the past few days.
"Uh, Dad?" Danny said. "Why does the lab look like a tornado hit it?"
"Oh," Jack said, looking around. "We were trying to use a device to find you. We invented a device that tracks you, me, Maddie, and Jazz." He took out a device that looked like the Fenton Finder. "It was hard. We're used to tracking ghosts not humans."
"But apparently it doesn't work," Maddie said, coming downstairs. "We could find Jazz, Jack, and I but we couldn't find you. Anywhere."
Jack turned it on. "See it's not even registering that you're standing right in front of me."
Unknown to all three of them, Jazz was watching in the stairwell. Something was off with Danny. He wasn't acting entirely like himself. She felt a tap on her shoulder. Curious, the girl turned around to see a girl with a black braid in a white t-shirt and blue jeans, a boy who looked exactly like Danny but in a red t-shirt and blue shorts, another Danny look-a-like in a black shirt, black pants, and a black cape, and a third Danny in his white jumpsuit before he went into the portal with an ecto-gun by his side.
Jazz nearly screamed before the ghostly Danny clasped a gloved hand over her mouth.
"Shhh!" he hissed. "Do you want to get us caught?"
The girl rolled her eyes. "Let her go, Time."
Timepiece looked between her and Jazz before timidly removing his hand and stuttering a "sorry".
"Who are you?" Jazz whispered.
The Danny in shorts and a t-shirt smiled. "Long story short, we're the Danny Fentons of other Dimensions. And we need to talk to you in the kitchen."
Back with Danny, Jack and Maddie turned to a table. "And this is what we worked on when you were gone…"
Danny stood, grinning for about a second before he knew that they weren't focused on him anymore. He slowly moved one arm behind his back and let it glow green. The Ecto Filtrator started beeping. Danny winced.
Maddie and Jack spun around. "What was that? Danny, do you hear that beeping?"
Danny hesitated. "Um, no. You guys must be… uh… hearing things!"
His parents glanced at each other. Shrugging, they turned back to their invention.
"Danny!" Jazz yelled. "Um… some of your friends are waiting outside!"
Danny shrugged. "Uh, I guess I'll be upstairs then." He walked past his parents. "Cool invention, by the way." He continued past Jazz.
His sister smirked as he disappeared into the kitchen. She took a Fenton Phone out of her pocket. "The ghost has taken the ghost nip." She paused. "Who came up with these codes?"
Meanwhile, Danny walked outside and stretched. "Now where are—"
He was cut off when a blue blast flew past him, just missing his nose, and hit the sidewalk, freezing the concrete just past him. He fell to the ground.
"What the?" Danny muttered. His eyes widened and he turned around.
Danni was standing there in her human form along with Fishtail in his human form. Timepiece hovered over their head in his apprentice clothing and Daniel was in his ghost hunting outfit, preparing an ectogun. What would've shocked any onlooker was that the real Danny Fenton was standing there, one arm behind his back, the other balled into a fist that was smoking a neon blue.
"Time's up… Dan Phantom," Danny hissed.
Dan growled as his eyes faded from their disguised icy blue to the natural blood red.
I know this chapter is kind of confusing but questions will be answered in the next chapter.
