Questions will be answered in this chapter!

I don't own Danny Phantom.

Dan slowly got to his feet, not bothering to change back to his true form since they were right in front of FentonWorks.

"Hello, Danny," the ghost said in his normal deep voice. "And Danni. And Fishtail. And Timepiece. And Daniel."

Danny's normal friendly blue eyes narrowed. It was a glare that could completely freeze a human in place with fear and if any of Amity Park's citizens were told that Danny Fenton could possess a glare like that, they would've laughed and not believed it.

Dan smirked. "How did you guys get out of Dimension 5? I trapped you there."

Timepiece flew forward, his face inches away from Dan's. "Master has been teaching me how to create portals. It took forever for us to get one to come here, though."

Dan swatted a hand at the other ghost. Time merely went intangible.

"Well, you're too late," the futuristic ghost hissed. "The Ecto Filtrator is rigged to explode any second now. And once that happens." He chuckled and looked at Danny. "Bye bye, Mom, Dad, and Jazz."

Danny gasped. "You've given up on killing a version of me from another dimension! You're trying to reinsert your timeline!"

Timepiece gasped as well and dove into FentonWorks. He had to replace that Ecto Filtrator!

Dan chuckled, watching him go. "Now, I believe I need to head to Paris and the middle of the Atlantic Ocean."

He turned around, only to come face to face with Danny Fenton again.

"Paris and the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?" Daniel whispered to Danni and Fish.

"Sam's in Paris and Tuck's on a cruise," Fish whispered back.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that!" Danny hissed. He paused. "Let me rephrase that. I'm not sorry and you're not going to do that!"

Dan raised an eyebrow. Quick as lightning, he spun around and shot some ectorope at Danni, Fishtail, and Daniel, restraining them to the ground.

"What was that for!" Danny yelled.

Dan turned back to him. "The Apprentice is busy. The female Phantom, the Merboy, and the Ghost Hunter are restrained to the ground. One person still standing in my way."

Danny's eyes narrowed again.

"My past self," Dan said with a smirk.

With a yell, he tackled Danny. The two rolled farther down the sidewalk before they stopped, Dan pinning Danny to the ground. He raised a fist and lighted it up with fire. He attempted to punch Danny but the halfa dodged at the last second, allowing Dan's fist to bury itself in the sidewalk. The hybrid kicked Dan off of him and got to his feet.

Dan tumbled to the ground, scraping his arm on the cement. He got up, wiping ectoplasm off his forearm and onto his white t-shirt.

"You're not going anywhere," Danny hissed, his tone venomous.

Dan raised an eyebrow. "You can't possibly think that you're going to win this battle, Danny. You, a fifteen year old boy against me, a powerful ghost."

Danny wiped some red and green blood from his lip. "I'm not just a fifteen year old boy. I'm a halfa." With a shout, he grabbed Dan by the shirt and tossed him across the street, through the window of an abandoned warehouse.

The halfa cracked his knuckles before checking to make sure no one saw that. He crossed the street and climbed through the smashed window.

Glass and ectoplasm littered the floor and a mass of green footprints walked away from the glass and up some stairs that led to the roof. Danny sighed and followed as quietly as possible.

At the top, there was no Dan. The footprints just stopped.

"Flight," Danny realized.

A strong hand clamped over his mouth.

"You better believe it," a voice from behind him said.

Danny bit down on the hand and got away quickly as the person let go.

It was Dan. The ghost looked horrible. His disguise had been half torn away, revealing his true form. Half of his face was pale and the other half was his normal blue-green with half of his white beard. Both of his eyes were blood red. Half of his hair was messy black and the other half was the normal flaming white. His left hand was half-skin, half-black glove. His right arm was his white and black jumpsuit and black glove. His right leg was his white boot and black pants.

"What the heck happened to you!" Danny yelled shocked.

Dan stepped forward. "The glass tore away my disguise, Danny!" He was furious. "Now it's time to end this."

He raised both hands and shot a mass of fire at Danny. The boy gasped before letting out a shriek as it hit him.

Dan gave a fang-filled smirk. It had been days since he heard a shriek like that. And it was enjoyable.

When he stopped, Danny lay there, clutching his stomach as he stared at the ground. His shirt was missing entirely and his pants were torn and scorched. One shoe was missing and the other was on fire. His hair was still on fire as well with some patches of it missing. His skin was charred.

"How does it feel to suffer, Danny?" Dan asked.

Danny looked up. His cheek had a crack in it and some ectoplasm and blood ran down it. "I-I-I t-think I'm go-go-going to be f-f-f-fine."

Danny's eyes glowed a neon blue and his entire body was encased in ice. There was a bright blue flash that forced Dan to look away. When he looked back, he gasped.

Danny stood there smirking. He looked exactly like he had before they'd started the battle. His shirt and shoe were back as were the patches of hair that were missing. His other shoe and his pants were completely healed as were his charred skin and any cuts he had on him.

"Now, Dan Phantom," Danny said, confidence in his voice. "You're toast."

Dan blinked.

"Wait, no, I'm an ice elemental," Danny said to himself. "Uh, you're frozen. Wait, that makes no sense."

Dan rolled his eyes before charging at the superpowered teenager. Danny reacted just in time to deliver a hard kick to his future self's gut. Dan was sent flying back and crashed through the door. He tumbled down the stairs.

At the bottom, Dan spit out some ectoplasm.

A red and white sneaker stepped in front of him. The ghost's gaze drifted up to see Danny standing there, arms crossed, eyes narrowed.

"Time's up," Danny hissed, grabbing Dan by the front of his shirt and delivering a swift punch to his eye.

Without hesitation, Danny threw Dan through another window, into an alley. He promptly crawled through it to stand in the alley.

"Too bad you don't know everything I can do, Dan-Dan," Danny taunted. "I can see your still in shock from my ice healing trick."

Dan's eyes shot open. "That's it," he whispered, a grin forming on his face.

He got to his feet swiftly and charged at Danny, laughing.

The halfa realized what he was going to do a second too late.

Back at FentonWorks, Timepiece was struggling to untie Fishtail. He'd successfully replaced the Ecto Filtrator. Daniel was by his side tugging against the rope. Danni was watching.

"In the name of Queen Dark!" the girl yelled. She walked forward and grabbed some of the rope, creating a sword out of ice in her other hand. She swiftly cut through the rope.

Fishtail stared at the broken rope before getting to his feet. "She's good," he commented.

"A year of ghost huntin' and fifteen years of growing up with ghost-obsessed parents, nitwit," Danni said, twirling the ice sword before melting it into a puddle of water. "And running from insane government employees, deranged ringmasters, psychotic ghosts, and my own parents."

"Yeah…" the boys commented.

Suddenly, a scream pierced through the air.

"That sounds like…" Fishtail started.

"Danny!" Timepiece yelled.

"It came from that alley," Danni added.

The quartet of ghost hunters ran down the street and into an abandoned alley.

Danny and Dan were gone. The only clue that they had ever been there was a puddle of ectoplasm.

Daniel, Fishtail, and Timepiece all looked at Danni, who was observing the ectoplasm.

"What?" she asked before it dawned on her what they were waiting for her to do. "Oh, please. I have so many scars on my body that you'd throw up if you saw them. I'm not about to scream at a pile of blood. By the way, don't expect that of every girl you meet." She bent down to brush her fingers against the ectoplasm, picking some up and observing it. "Good news is that it isn't from Danny. Even in his ghost form, he'd still have some red specks in his ectoplasm."

"So it's from Dan," Daniel said.

Danni nodded, turning her hand intangible so the ectoplasm fell back into the puddle.

"Then where's Danny and Dan?" Timepiece asked.

Danni bit her lip. "I don't know."

I dare you to guess what Dan did to Danny and where they are.
