She didn't met him at the way to her room.
Now she stood in front of the door. A last time she stood still, and tried to hear anything, that could say her, where Byakuya now was. She looked left and right the corridor, but didn't see anything that would help her.
So she slowly opened the door and went in the room backwards so she could see as long as possible into the corridor. But there was noone.
With a sigh she closed the door and went to the wardrobe and opened it.
Now she had to face the next problem. "Hmm... what am I allowed to take with me? All the things I have, don't belong to me, so I don't know...", she mumbled.
"Don't take anything with you!", suddenly a deep voice said behind her.
She shroke and turned towards the voice. She knew whose voice it was.
"What are you doing...", she wanted to ask in surprise, but stopped, when she noticed, how negative this was.
"Should I go?", the man, that sat on the bed, asked.
"NO, please stay here, Byakuya!", she said, afraid, that she hat ruined her chance.
"Why should I?"
"Because I have so many questions... and I just want to talk with you a last time, before I have to go."
"Questions?", Byakuya asks sceptical.
"Yes, of course... for example... why did you send me away... after... the kiss?"
"Isn't that logical?", Byakuya asked her.
"No, it's not!", she answered forcefully: "I wouldn't ask, if it was..."
"Hmm, what do you think?", he asked her.
"I have no idea. first you kissed me, and everything was ok, and then you stopped and send me away. I really don't understand it."
"I thought, that we couldn't be a couple, because you're just a normal girl. It's my education, that I can't have a relationship with a girl, that's not a noble, and, that' so much younger than I am."
Kohana looked on the floor sadly.
"I understand...", she said, but then looked to him again: "Why are you here then? Just to tell me, that we can't be together? You needn't have told me... I knew that myself. Your signs were strong enough."
Byakuya stood up.
"Come to me."
'Come to him? But why?', she thought while her heart started beating faster. She made two slow steps towards him, so she stood direct in front of him. Now he made a last step to close the space between them and took her in in his arms.
"I have decided... that I don't mind, what others think, I don't want to live without you. I can't let you go"
'He... don't want to live without me? So he wants me to stay here? But what does he...?'
Her thoughts were stopped, because Byakuya put his lips slowly on her lips. First she couldn't react, she couldn't believe, that he kissed her, but then she kissed back. After the kiss Byakuya sat down on the bed again and pulled Kohana on his lap.
"I love you, Kohana, and I want to be with you forever!", Byakuya said gently and with a little smile on his face.
'He looks so beautiful with that smile.", she thought, before answering: "I love you, too, and forever? That sound wonderful!"
After these words she reached for his lips and they kissed again.
