I don't own Danny Phantom.
"Well, this ghost battle is over and normalcy returns to Amity Park," Tiffany Snow said, smiling a never-ending smile. "There's some damage to the town but there were no injuries that have been reported yet. One thing's for sure, Danny Phantom has saved the town again. He and his mysterious friends—a girl who appeared to be a female version of him, a boy who could've been his twin but didn't set off ghost alarms called Fishtail by the Fentons, a ghost in a cloak with clock symbols on him, and a boy who the Fentons claimed is named the White Hunter—fled the scene quickly with the captured ghost, who the Fentons say is named Dan. The girl said that they were going to bring Dan to a place where he would never get out again. When Phantom gets back, we're hoping he'll answer a few unanswered questions about this battle. Interestingly, local villain, the Wisconsin ghost, participated in this battle. He also left quickly. We'll be back after this commercial break with more info on this ghost fight."
Clockwork floated up in front of his viewing screen. "Nice job you five did," he commented turning around to face five people.
Daniel leaned against a gear with his hood down and his arms folded. A slight smile brushed his lip. Timepiece hovered next to him, above his head though. His hood was down as well and he was smiling a full-fledged smile. Next to them was Fishtail, in human form. He sat, leaning against a gear with one arm draped over his knee. To his left, Danny Fenton leaned against a gear, a cup of coffee in one hand. Next to him, Danni Fenton sat on the gear, bandaging her hand.
"It was a job well done," Danni said. She bit the bandage to tear it before going to work on a cut on her leg that was sure to scar.
"A Phantom may have saved the town," Daniel said. "But it was a Fenton's mind behind it."
Fishtail laughed. "Technically, five Fenton minds."
Daniel gave him a smile.
"Welcome to Dimension 1, Daniel," Danny said, taking the bandages from Danni and proceeding to wrap his wrist. "It's better to stay in the shadows as Fenton then be in the light."
Daniel rolled his eyes. "I see."
Danni rolled her eyes and looked away.
Daniel sighed and walked over to her. "Danni?"
She snorted and looked away.
"Danni, I want to apologize," Daniel said, staring down at his gloved hands. "I shouldn't have questioned your authority. I'm used to being in Dimension 5 where I'm in charge. You're a pretty good ghost hunter by the way." He gave a lopsided smile. "You're one of the best ghost hunters I've ever met and I've met quite a lot of ghost hunters."
She turned to him, expression unreadable. "Are you apologizing to me?"
He smiled. "I haven't apologized to anyone in over a year so it could be a bit bad."
She laughed. "It's a good apology. I shouldn't have yelled at you either." She smiled. "Apology accepted." She hugged him.
Danny, Timepiece, and Fishtail watched the scene smiling.
"DANIEL!"
Danny sighed. "Oh, boy. What did I do know?"
Two Observants entered the room. They looked at Clockwork and gave a nod. He nodded back.
Danny sighed again. "It's not my fault Dan Phantom escaped."
The first Observant nodded. "We understand. We're blaming Clockwork for that."
"He lives outside of time, therefore I cannot predict him," Clockwork said without turning around.
"Don't worry about him escaping again," Timepiece said.
Danni nodded. "Vlad and Clockwork built a shield that is both human and ghost proof. It also is resistant to Ghostly Wails."
"Interesting," the second Observant said.
"We came to congratulate you on a job well done," the first Observant said.
"But now Fishtail, Timepiece, Daniel, and Danni must return to their own dimensions," the second one said.
Danny sighed. "I knew this was coming." He held his hand out, palm down. "Dimension Chasers?"
Danni put her hand on top of his. "Dimension Chasers."
Fishtail followed. "Dimension Chasers."
"Dimension Chasers," Timepiece said, putting his gloved hand on top of Fish's.
"Dimension Chasers," Daniel said finally, putting his own hand in.
"I'M GOING TO MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH!" Fishtail yelled, tears streaming down his face as he gathered them all in a hug.
"Fish… tail…" Danny gasped out. "I'm not… Time… I… kinda… need to breathe."
Fishtail blushed and nodded, letting go of them. "It's just… I'm gonna miss you guys."
Danni smiled as well. It was obvious she was trying not to cry. "I'm… gonna miss you too." A tear slid down her cheek. Danny wrapped his arm around her and gave her a hug.
Daniel looked away. He wasn't one to cry but he sure felt like it. "I never thought that a group of ghostly halfas, a merman halfa, and a ghost could be a great team with me." He blinked. "Then again, before this I didn't think there was such a thing as a halfa."
"Welcome to my world," Danny, Danni, and Fishtail said at the same time. They glanced at each other before smiling and bursting out laughing.
"I really wish we could stay in contact with each other," Timepiece said, sighing.
Clockwork cleared his throat causing the five Danny Fentons and two Observants to look at him.
The Master of Time smiled. "There is a way for you five to stay in touch." He held out a gloved hand. "Danielle? Daniel? Can I borrow your cell phones?"
Danni shrugged and handed over her cell phone. Danny reached into the pocket of his jeans and grabbed a white iPhone with a case that had an outer space pattern on it.
Daniel raised an eyebrow. "So she has her symbol on a case and you have outer space. One of you just bought a new cell phone case."
Danni rolled her eyes. "Secret identity, nimrod," she said, sarcastically.
He chuckled. "Very original, Girly."
She smirked.
"What Danni was saying is that we switch out our cases," Danny said, watching Clockwork take two Time Medallions. "I own a case with my symbol on it as well."
Clockwork placed Danny's phone down on a table as well as one of the Time Medallions.
Danni raised a black eyebrow. "What are you doing?" she asked, confused.
Before she could say anything else, Clockwork turned the Medallion intangible and fused it into her phone.
"What the—" she asked.
Clockwork handed her back her phone. "Here you go. One interdimensional cell phone."
She examined her phone.
"Works in any dimension and in the Ghost Zone," Clockwork said, doing the same process to Danny's phone. He handed the phone back before turning back to Danni. "Now, I believe you have a picture to send to Daniel?"
She glanced down at her phone before smirking. A few seconds later Danny's phone buzzed.
He picked it up and smiled at the message.
You wanted this picture—Danni
Below her text was a picture of Dan Phantom in a fairy princess costume, clown wig, and clown nose.
Danny laughed. "New home screen!"
Daniel smirked as he received his newly upgraded phone. Timepiece and Fishtail had already had their phones done.
"Well," the first Observant said, floating forward. "Now that that's done. Danni, Fishtail, Daniel, and Timepiece need to return to their own dimensions."
Clockwork nodded and opened four portals. "You can have your versions of me do the same to your laptops if you want. Oh, and take these." He threw a pair of gloves at each Dimension Chaser besides Timepiece. "They open portals to whatever dimension you want."
Daniel put his phone and the gloves into his pocket before approaching his portal home. "Well, I've gotta go. Val's probably worried sick about me." He smirked and saluted. "If you need my help again, give me a call." With a wave, he jumped through the portal, vanishing into the green swirl.
Fishtail smiled as he approached his portal. "I got to go too. I can't wait to explain this to Mom and Dad," he said, voice dripping with sarcasm. He jumped through his portal.
Timepiece rubbed his neck. "Master probably wants me back." He flew over to his portal. "See you around?"
Danni smiled. "We'll text you."
The ghost smiled and waved before flying through his portal.
"Oh, Danielle, Daniel!" Clockwork said.
The two halfas looked at him.
"The timelines of all five of you have now been split from each other's," Clockwork explained. "Whereas you might've both been fighting the Box Ghost at the same time, Danny could now be fighting Nocturne while Danni's fighting Johnnie 13."
"So we better keep in touch," Danny said, more to Danni than to Clockwork.
She nodded. "Well I better get going. And I think I'm going to use the 'I-was-kidnapped-by-a-ghost' excuse with my parents." She waved at her male counterpart. "I'll text you and the others."
He waved too. "Bye," he said.
"Bye!" she dived through the portal.
"Once again, good job, Daniel," the second Observant said.
Danny smirked. "Shows that you shouldn't doubt me. Now if you excuse me, I have been overshadowed, electrocuted, bruised, and injured way too much for my liking recently. I'm going home and I'm resting." He walked out of the tower, closing the door behind him.
The Observants shook their heads at the boy before turning to Clockwork.
"Clockwork, will the Dimension Chasers meet up again?" the first Observant asked.
Clockwork nodded. "In Dimension 2, an evil is going to awaken soon. Her first target will be a fifteen-year old halfa named Danielle Fenton."
One more chapter left. And the next chapter will have some DxS in it. And Danni's Sam, Tucker, Jazz, and Danielle.
