Team Wildfire: Rekindled
Chapter Five: Reminiscing the Past
*AUTHOR'S NOTE: The events of Lily and Larraine happen the day Anthony was transported to the Pokémon world. Sorry for not clarifying that earlier in case it confused anyone! ^-^;

Lily and I sat in the living room sipping coffee later that day. Lily had a photo album perfectly balanced on her lap. She was dead quiet with the only sounds uttered from her being sipping sounds and some occasional giggles. I stood up and walked over to her to see what picture she was looking at.
"Oh, here. Have a look,'' Lily said handing me the book. I held the book and saw many pictures of Lily's family. There was one picture of Lily and her husband, Marcus, embracing each other in front of the Ferris Wheel in Unova's Nimbasa City, their native region. Marcus had a decently, muscular build and was quite tall, at least 6 feet. His eyes were a deep violet color and his hair was black and spiky. Lily had her long brown hair tied up into a ponytail. The happy couple were clad in summer clothing and seemed to be in heaven when they're together.
"Marcus was a very handsome man,'' I complimented. Lily giggled.
"Yes, but he was such a good man and a wonderful father for our boys,'' Lily sighed. "I see him in Anthony and Napoleon every day. Napoleon was head strong and brave but a little stubborn like Marcus. Anthony, however, is naturally shy and timid unlike Marcus and Napoleon.'' Lily giggled. "Admittedly, I'm a little guilty of coddling him a bit too much. But, I couldn't help it! He was so cute as a baby and he was my little angel!''
"He's still cute,'' I stated.
"You're right,'' Lily laughed. "Of course, BOTH Napoleon and Anthony are my babies. I just couldn't resist Anthony's adorable face when I first met him.'' We resumed looking at the pictures and saw an adorable picture of a young Napoleon and Anthony sleeping together. Napoleon was sleeping against a log with Anthony resting on his shoulder. They must've been about 4 years old or so. "Oh, this picture always melts my heart,'' Lily cooed. "We were on a camping trip in the Viridian Forest. Marcus was playing his guitar to lull the boys to sleep. As hard as they tried to stay awake, Napoleon and Anthony collapsed and I just HAD to capture the moment.''
"Young Anthony is so cuuuute!'' I squealed as I clasped my hands. Antony was short and stout. His mouth was open slightly and some drool was dripping down his chin. Napoleon was slightly taller but still has some baby fat on his body. The two clearly got along very well if they slept together.
"When Anthony was born, Marcus and I were concerned that Napoleon would become jealous of Anthony and resent him,'' Lily began. "Napoleon wasn't too jealous of him and got along very well. Sure sometimes they fought, as brothers always will, but they always made up in the end.'' Lily's face then adopted a forlorn expression. "When Napoleon was kidnapped by those horrible men in black suits, Anthony blamed himself for it. He tried to stop them with his Doduo but he was easily defeated by the men.'' Tears began to materialize in her eyes. "Anthony suffered from depression after the incident. He barely ate at all as the depression took its toll on him.'' The tears began to pour out faster. "It hurt me so much to see him in such pain! I miss him, Napoleon, and their father so much!'' Lily placed her hands on her face sobbing.
"Hey,'' I said placing my hand on Lily's shoulder. Lily looked up through watery eyes. "Anthony, Napoleon, and Marcus would want you to stay strong for them. I know that Anthony's the only one you have left but I feel that he's out there alive and well. I can feel it in my heart.'' I placed my hand on my chest. "Now, please don't cry, Lily.'' I picked up a tissue and helped dry Lily's tears.
"Thank you, Larraine,'' Lily said hugging me. "I have to remember to be strong in these situations.'' I giggled and looked at my watch.
"Oh! It's 6 o'clock!'' I exclaimed. "I should be getting home now!''
"Here, let me drive you,'' Lily offered.
"No thank you, Lily,'' I said as I made my way out the front door. "It's faster on a Pokémon anyway!'' I exited the house and tossed my Poké Ball. My Pidgeot, Storm, stretched his wings and screeched. "C'mon Storm, let's get home!'' Storm bent down and I quickly climbed onto his back. Lily watched from the porch as Storm and I began to take off.
"Take care, Larraine!'' Lily called just we left ear shot.
"Bye, Lily!'' I yelled back. As Storm and I flew through the air, I felt a wave of sadness surge through my body. You have to be okay, Anthony, I thought to myself. I don't know exactly what's going on but I'm sure there's a reason for this. Something…special.
