I found that listening to music whilst writing actually helps and it gave a lot of atmosphere. Lost and Lonely by the Rasmus, Sleepwakers Dream by Delain and For Freedoms Sake by Serenity where the songs i used for this chapter. I absolutely adored writing this chapter so i hope that yous enjoy it!
Tintin's eyes fluttered and opened to the almost blackness of a car trunk. He tried to move but soon realised that his hands were tied behind his back and tape was across his mouth obstructing his ability to scream and shout. His chest was stinging and blood was beginning to seep through his chest again. Every single bump seemed to hurt as the car continued its long undetermined journey. He tried to convince himself that this wasn't the end of the road, his journey in life, but nothing seemed to help. twenty four years old was no age to die. One deep thought was telling him to let go and give up but the one that reigned existant over the rest was to fight as hard as he could no matter what, as life was far too precious just to loose like that. Suddenly the truck opened causing the bright afternoon sunshine to enter the trunk, nearly blinding Tintin as a result. Li pulled Tintin from the car, not caring about the blood that was staining the white shirt he was wearing. Blinking he suddenly realised he was at the harbour, miles away from Makalby. Myles is never going to get here in time Tintin thought. Li ripped the tape from Tintin's mouth and pulled him forward at least another ten metres and dropped him to the ground in front of Mitsuhirato. Tintin looked around. This was the old region of the harbour, unused for years. At least it would narrow down the search for Myles. Li pulled him up onto his knees so he could look straight into Mitsuhirato's eyes, his cold, dim , uncomphrending eyes.
"So we meet again My dear Tintin. Fortunatley this will be the last time you'll see me" he said, his graveled voice exposing his deadly intentions. Tintin's expression hardened as Mitsuhirato pressed the tip of his knife against the tip of Tintin's chin. His defiant gaze didn't falter and it left Mitsuhirato feeling slightly unerved.
"No amount of fighting is going to save you this time" Mitsuhirato growled.
"I wouldn't bet on it" Tintin growled back intensly.
Mitsuhirato slapped Tintin straight across the face but it didn't extinguish Tintin's fighting spirit. He shooed off Li then stared out Tintin whilst gripping a think peice of rope.
"Time for a bit of fun" he grinned looking directly at Tintin's neck. A thousand thoughts echoed through Tintin's mind and one was concerning the many techniques of japanese torture that he could imply upon him.
"I could easily just target your precoius Captain, ohhh wait what about your own brother"
A lot of shock suddenly embedded upon Tintin's face. No he wouldn't... but then again he was a sadistic killer and murdering his brother would be so easy for Mitsuhirato. For him in would be as easy as pouring a glass of water from a tap.
"Don't you dare! He has nothing to do with this! You even touch him and I swear I will..."
"Or what?... You'll kill me?" Mitsuhirato taunted in a sing song voice. "You'll never get the chance Mister Delcourt!"
Tintin stared at him wondering how the hell he knew his surname. He knew that Myles would gladly swap places with him but he didn't want that happening. Myles was the only bit of family left and despite what was unfolding now at the harbour he didn't want to leave him lonely but he didn't, not ever, wanted to lose him espically to such a prolific murderer who would be sure to use an exceptionally painful technique to do so. A massive flare of anger suddenly made its way around his body and then exploded in rage
"Leave my brother out of this, do whatever you want to me" he shouted. This wasn't a beg this was a warning.
"I was hoping you would say that" he said grinning. "But to be honest it doesn't really matter what I do because pretty soon you'll be sleeping with the fishes for an eternity in the bottom of this disused harbour!" he shouted bending down and gripping Tintin's throat tightly, trying to stop his defiant emotions. He wanted him to be pleading to let him go but if he had to use torture he hoped Tintin would be pleading for him to kill him instead of prolonging the agoncy of japanese torture.
He laughed loundly and upon standing up he stared down at Tintin from his six foot three frame, drawfing him completely in hieght and hope. For Tintin it felt like the devil had escaped from it's kingsdom known as hell and decided to punish him as much as possible even though to everyone else he had done nothing wrong, apart from destroy the devils plan to thrive on what was it's best job, Murder.
