It was Friday morning and Sheldon was dressed for work in his black melting Rubik's Cube t-shirt, a yellow thermal, and a pair of khaki pants. He was sitting on his spot on the couch, eating a bowl of Big Bran. He felt that he needed the high-fiber cereal because he considered the previous night to be something of a roller-coaster. After his fight with Leonard had ended with Leonard going to his room, Howard, Bernadette, Raj, and Stuart opted to leave the apartment and get dinner elsewhere because they felt uncomfortable. After the four of them had left, Sheldon and Penny were alone in the living room. Sheldon still ordered a pizza because it was pizza night, but Sheldon and Penny were the only ones who ate it.

While Sheldon and Penny were eating pizza, they watched reruns of Doctor Who on TV. After they finished and everything was cleaned up, they continued to watch Doctor Who. Sheldon was secretly happy when halfway through the second episode of Doctor Who, Penny snuggled up with him. In fact, he actually enjoyed the cuddling more even more than he did the previous time they had cuddled. After the third episode of Doctor Who, and an hour and a half of cuddling, Penny had went back to her apartment citing fatigue.

After Penny had left, Sheldon had a rather sleepless night. He couldn't stop thinking about Penny and snuggling up with her. Her disheveled blond hair had smelled like vanilla. Her smooth skin had felt warm to the touch. Her skin had not been feverishly hot, but rather warm enough to be pleasing. She had somehow felt right in his arms. Sheldon couldn't stop himself from hoping that they would cuddle again sometime soon.

Sheldon's thoughts were interrupted by Leonard walking into the kitchen. Sheldon ignored him. He didn't need Leonard, not even for a ride because Penny had offered to give him a ride to work on her way out of the apartment last night.

"Good morning, Sheldon," said Leonard sounding apologetic. Sheldon was still angry about the previous night. Since he was not ready to forgive Leonard, he continued ignoring him.

"Sheldon, I'm sorry," said Leonard, looking down and scuffing his shoe on the floor.

Sheldon was now finished with his cereal so he started cleaning up while still ignoring Leonard. He had reached the sink when he heard Leonard say "Sheldon, stop ignoring me. I'm trying to apologize!"

Sheldon decided to humor Leonard so, after putting his bowl, spoon, and glass in the dishwasher, he turned around and said "Okay, Leonard. I'll hear you out. What are you apologizing for?"

"I'm apologizing for last night. I was wrong. I shouldn't have gotten mad about Penny coming over."

Sheldon wondered what made Leonard realize that he was wrong so he cautiously asked, "What made you come to the conclusion that you were wrong?"

"You don't think I'm wrong?" asked Leonard incredulously.

Sheldon snorted and said, "Of course I think you're wrong. I'm just wondering what made you realize that."

"Well... uh... the thing is..." said Leonard, stumbling over his words.

Sheldon was quickly growing impatient so he snapped "Get to the point?"

"Okay. I really don't know how to say this-"

"Just say it," interrupted Sheldon.

"I want to ask Amy out on a date," said Leonard while looking at his shoes.

Sheldon was surprised at how little he cared that Leonard wanted to date his ex-girlfriend. Honestly, he was much more upset about Leonard's hypocritical ways than anything else. He decided to call Leonard on his hypocrisy. "What happened to 'bros before hos?'" Sheldon asked, making air quotes.

"Well, you see-"

Leonard was interrupted by the apartment door opening. Sheldon turned around in time to see Penny poke her head in. "You coming?" asked Penny.

"Yes. I'll just be a moment," answered Sheldon while putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

"What's going on?" asked Leonard.

"Penny has agreed to give me rides to work from now on," answered Sheldon a little irritably before turning to get his jacket and bag.

After they got in the car, Penny turned to Sheldon and said "I heard what Leonard said. I, uh, eavesdropped."

"You shouldn't do that," answered Sheldon even though he did not feel the slightest bit of irritation in regards to Penny's eavesdropping.

"Are you mad at him?" Penny asked.

"Of course I'm mad at him. He ruined pizza night."

"No, not about that; about him dating Amy," Penny clarified.

"Oh, no. I'm not mad at him. I'm much more upset about him ruining pizza night. Although it wasn't all bad," said Sheldon truthfully.

"What wasn't all bad?" asked Penny as she slammed on the brake.

"Penny!" exclaimed Sheldon.

"Sorry, stop sign," said Penny who didn't sound sorry at all. "Anyway, what wasn't all bad about last night?"

"Cuddling with you," Sheldon answered honestly.

"Really?" Penny sounded incredulous.

"Yes. I rather enjoyed it. It was much better than cuddling with Amy ever was."

Penny's jaw dropped open. "Really?" she asked.

"Yes. Amy squeezed me much too tight when we cuddled. Also, her hair doesn't smell as good as yours, her bosom is as not as appealing to look at as your's, and somehow, she just didn't feel as good in my arms as you do." Although it was cliché, Sheldon felt like a weight had been lifted off of his shoulders.

The rest of the ride to work was silent. Just as Sheldon was about to get out of the car, he heard Penny softly say, "I like cuddling with you too."
