Chapter 5: Here we are in, HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA!

Sorry guys for the loooooooooooooong update... I was too busy writing "Art Museum Fright" and stuff.. I woke up at.. 6:42 (I think) and ate a lazy breakfast..(Which included a Hot Pocket and a glass of Tampico juice..) Gosh, I sound like a real writer.. ANYWHO, ENOUGH OF MY AWKWARDNESS, LET THE DRAMA BEGIN!~

Gilbert: LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!~

Me: hey! That's my line... :(

She woke up with her face on Alfred's chest, and his arms were wrapped around her head. She turned red and squeaked, "Al?" The blonde woke up, "Hmm?" His eyes opened and it took him a few minutes to register what happened, "Um.. Hi?" He laughed nervously. The two stayed like so, until they decided to sit correctly. They yawned and stretched like it didn't happen. "What a lovely morning, right -Nickname-?" He replied and blushed. -Name- chuckled, "Indeed it is!~ My, what have we here? Some birds out the window!" Alfred laughed, 'Man.. have I fallen... for her?'

A brunette with honey eyes, a long ponytail and was carrying around a plush panda was standing at the airport. He muttered how unfairly the airplane delayed and how he was standing for too long outside.

"Hello!-"

The brunette cried out in surprise and turned to see who it was.

"Yao!~ Sorry for scaring you!" Im Yong Su hugged Yao in a manner that made ANYONE uncomfortable. Yao struggled and yelled, "I'M NOT A GIRL, ARU!" The Chinese man pushed the Korean away and scoffed.

Im Yong Su then replied cheekily, "You're late for your airplane flight, Daze!~" Yao panicked a bit and checked his watch. It was 7:43. Yao's honey eyes widened and he ran off to the nearest taxi cab and screamed, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The Korean laughed and skipped off, going to his own car to go to the same destination.

California was not as loud as New York but, it was pretty noisy. Yao was impatiently tapping his foot, he checked his watch, 8:17. He chewed his lip, he needed to get there in time. The taxi driver yelled out the window some pretty mean things to the car in front of them.

'Why? Why is everyone so loud in America? Is it because that you have to step on others to get ahead? Or is it because your voice needed to be heard, but the normal tone wasn't enough?' Yao wondered as he looked to the beach that reflected the sun's light. California was beautiful but crowded. Then, the taxi sped up as the the green light flickered on. Going down the cemented highway, Yao decided to look at his suitcase.

Script papers? Check.

Ballpoint pens? Check.

Hotel tickets? Check.

Chinese traditional wok? Double Check. Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little defense.

Extra change. Chec-

The Taxi stopped for someone. Yao glanced at the door as it opened. A man with rich honey-golden hair, garden green eyes, a t-shirt with a dragon on it, blue jeans, and black vans stepped in and paid the driver. The man held on tightly to his brown bag that had only one strap on his shoulder. He sat down as Yao scooted over to the other side. The man was silent much to Yao's surprise. The man took out a sketchbook and pencil from his bag and drew beautiful pictures. (This man is important.. you'll know what I mean later)

Yao shook his head and turned away. The man glanced at the Chinese man but ignored him as well.

Finally, they've made it to the airport. It was packed and was lively. People walked in and out, with luggage in their hands. Yao stepped out and so did the man. Yao tilted his head suspiciously at the man and asked him, "What is your business coming to the airport?"

The man smiled, "I'm here for my love." He walked off, still in a daydream.

Yao rose an eyebrow, "What a strange man," then went on with his quest.

The man stopped as he looked up from a piece of paper. He felt terrible. He felt like a fake when he smiled. He let a frown cross his features. He had to pick up his girlfriend. She left him here as she boarded her flight last year.

'God. It's been a year since I've seen her.' He shoved the note in his pocket as the Brunette from the taxi briskly walked to where ever he needed to go. The man walked on, he kept glancing over his shoulder.

'Don't worry, Damen. Maybe she's still there..' Damen stopped at the entrance of the airplane exit. He's girlfriend stepped down as she glared at him.

"Damen." She hissed and threw her designer bags at his face. She flipped her hair and power-walked away. Damen groaned, his girlfriend had a bad influence from her mother. He juggled with the bags for it was one too many. The poor man couldn't see anything, which meant he bumped into someone on the way.

"OW! Watch-!" the girl who he bumped into, stopped in mid-sentence as she stared at his eyes. Damen rubbed his head in nervousness and replied, "S-sorry.." The girl stood up and helped him in the process.

"Thanks..." Damen breathed. It's Diana Florence... She's.. more beautiful than in the magazines... Damen blushed and his heart thumped against his rib-cage as she shook hands with his.

"I'm Diana, you are..?" She began, her own cheeks dusted with pink. Damen's heart melted a bit then he smiled genuinely, "I'm Damen Hunter."

Diana chuckled, "We both have our names starting with 'D', that's funny isn't it?" Damen chuckled, "Actually when you think about it.. yes!"

Diana saw Alfred step off the airplane with -Your name-, she frowned but told Damen, "I have to go.. I'm shooting a movie in a little.. so.. Will I see you again?"

Damen decided to give her a slip of paper, "I'm staying at The Biltmore Santa Barbara hotel." Diana giggled, "Another coincidence! I'm staying there too!"

The two laughed, then departed their ways. Which meant, Damen had to juggle around with his girlfriend's luggage.

Alfred laughed as -Your Name- told him all of the little things, "Then as she ran she screamed out: LORD JESUS, SAVE ME! Then, I was so angry I cried out as I chased my friend down the hall, 'YOU WISHED LORD JESUS CAN SAVE YOU NOW!"

Alfred wiped a tear as they met up with Yao. Yao panted with his suitcase. Im Yong Su was humming to himself as he walked beside him. -Name- tilted her head in confusion, "Um.. hello, who are you?"

Yao waved and smiled, "Hello, I'm Wang Yao. Just call me Yao, aru." -Name chuckled at how he said, 'aru'.

Im Yong Su cried out and tackled -Name-, "YOUR BREASTS ARE MINE, DA-ZE!~"

-Name-, on instinct, punched the Korean off. Im Yong Su went to an imaginary depression corner as he cried at how much it hurt. Yao scolded the young one as Diana caught up with them, along with Ivan, Gilbert, Antonio, Francis, Matthew, Feilks, Arthur Elizabeta, and Rodrich.

Diana seemed to be far away, away in a dream. Damen's features lingered in her memory. She felt.. different. Diana clutched the paper.

'He's nice... maybe..' She didn't finish as the group walked on. She ran to catch up, but noticed Damen arguing with someone.

"You clumsy, idiot! Why don't you walk faster?"

"It's not my fault I brought Midas' treasures here!"

"Shut up and keep walking!"

"I had enough of your stupid pride! Where's the Catherine I dated? WHERE IS SHE!?"

"Catherine is dead! And if you don't like that, then find someone else to put up with your stupidity!"

"I barely see you anymore, Cathy! Now, all you're doing is giving me the cold shoulder! What have I ever done to you?"

"YOU WANNA KNOW WHY? WHY? WELL, BECAUSE YOU WERE NEVER THERE FOR ME!"

"IT'S NOT MY FAULT I'M GOING TO COLLAGE TO GET A DEGREE AND HAVING A JOB TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE!'

"WHAT HELP IT PUT US HERE!"

"I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING!"

"WELL YOU CAN GIVE YOUR 'EVERYTHING' TO A DUMB-ASS WHO CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR IDIOCY!"

"ALL TALK, NO MUSCLE!"

"WE ARE THROUGH!'

"FINE!"

"FINE!"

Diana now realized, she was the only one to see both of them crying, but they didn't notice each other's tears.

Damen's eyes were pink, he walked out of the airport. He clutched at his broken heart. He hated this feeling. But never the less, he could not control fate. Yet, he can control the present time. (Or as I would say: People are the actors, the stage is their memories, we all go by a script. But to add flavor into the performance, one must be rebellious and start adding his own actions, thus, controlling his present moment and being free.)

Catherine looked to the sky as she went into a cab, she hated, this feeling. But, she made the choice, now, she regretted ever doing so. Damen watched as her cab drove off as the heavy feeling of despair sifted through the distance between him and Catherine. Knowing that, they'll never feel the same way again.
