A/N: I am really satisfied to say that I brought this story to an end. It has been fun, I kind of not hate the story fully, though I hate some lack of unplanned things that are included in this. Do not worry about anything that I may have forgotten, because I did not. I made sure to sneak it into this chapter, hehehe ;) Anyway, enjoyyyy. There is going to be some mushy stuff, but oh well, you are going to love it!

Chapter Eight

It was finally Christmas, and Scorpius was seated next to his father, near the fireplace, holding an old photo album with baby pictures. Draco was smiling and holding his son close, glad that everything was almost over. They still had a lot to go through, but he was glad that Scorpius hadn't closed up to himself.

"Look, it's me and you at the zoo for the first time!" Scorpius chuckled as he pointed at a picture.

"You're such a kid, where did you even find that picture." Draco laughed and shook his head, hugging his son tighter.

Scorpius smiled and shook his head at his father, going through the rest of the pictures.

The mysteries of the unknown phone call to Harry and the note under Astoria's door were still unsolved for the adults surrounding the case. All they knew was that Ginny was responsible for the kidnap, that she had gotten into the part along with a man who kidnapped Scorpius for her and then he vanished into thin air, and that Scorpius had told them only that he'd gotten pretty drugged at the party and he didn't even know whom to blame.

That was the truth the others knew, though. Scorpius kept to himself the fact that he had actually found a cell phone as the guy was dragging him out and had called the Auror office, thinking it would be helpful, not realizing he had actually called Harry Potter. When he figured it out, he said nothing about it, being too embarrassed to admit that he had screamed like a little girl.

The connection between the party and the note under Astoria's door still remained unexplained until it cleared out in court. The trial had taken place immediately within the next few weeks so that the woman wouldn't be of danger to anyone else. Ginny admitted to having tried to scare Astoria firstly, just in case Draco was there, but then she'd found out he was living alone, so she sent the package with the portable fire at his house instead. Everything fell into place after she got sentenced to 2 years of mental health care, due to her lack of correct use of magic, and a voluntary work sentence to avoid imprisonment for her. Harry had dealt with that, along with the addition of restraining orders to keep her away from Draco and Scorpius.

Scorpius had grown closer to his father after that time, and got to learn the importance of listening to him. They still had small fights, but Scorpius soon calmed down and relaxed. He became friends even with Albus Potter, after the first time he'd met him, and they grew really close to each other. Harry became good friends with Draco and they often met or talked on the phone, and all moved along better from that moment and on.

Five years went by after the whole incident, and it was once again Christmas.

Everything had been settled as Harry had wanted it. Ginny was sent out of the country in special mental therapy, which resulted mostly in removal of certain thoughts to make her alright, and they had been having civilized conversations for over a year. Harry had agreed into letting her look after the kids 6 weeks per year so that they wouldn't miss her and Ginny had agreed to it. She seemed to be doing a lot better as well, and Harry trusted her enough with at least their own kids.

After the night that Harry helped Draco return at his home, the two males had been exchanging phone calls and had gone out on several dates with each other. Things were looking astonishingly good when Draco had finally suggested living together once Scorpius was 17. They would still have to wait for him to graduate from, but Harry didn't mind.

That Christmas would turn out to be different though. Harry was invited over at Draco's, along with his children. Everyone was really happy to see each other, but something was off with Draco. He kept nervously smiling and fiddling with the plates as Scorpius helped him set the table.

"Dad, are you alright?" Scorpius questioned.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Draco nodded and tapped his fingers against his pocket as he spelled the napkins in place.

"I think the turkey isn't." Scorpius said as he sniffed the air.

Draco yelped and ran in the kitchen, finding the turkey only slightly over cooked, and thankfully not burnt. He took it out of the oven, cutting the tin foil open and sighing when he saw that it was golden brown. "Dinner is ready!" he announced.

Scorpius smiled and was about to go help but soon he heard the bell. "They're here!" he chirped and ran to get the door.

When the door opened, Scorpius grinned and hugged his best friend Albus, waving at James and his new girlfriend, who was followed by Lily as well, and telling them all to come inside.

"Wow, you've grown into a man, Scorpius." James grinned at the blond, and Scorpius chuckled.

Albus smirked. "He grew facial hair faster than me, it's not fair." He teased and hugged his best mate.

"Andrew broke it off with me last week." Scorpius sighed.

Albus patted his back and ruffled his hair. "Cheer up, blondie, I don't have anyone for tonight either. It's alright." He smiled. "We got each other." He whispered in his ear as he leaned over and kissed his cheek.

Scorpius blushed crimson and shoved Albus playfully, chuckling as they sat at the table together. He had been really glad of the acceptance in his best friend's eyes when he'd first told him he was gay. It was ever greater when Albus trusted him with his secret of liking boys as well as girls, and Scorpius had been delighted to hear it.

Harry chuckled and watched as they had all started interacting with each other, hanging his coat and heading to the kitchen with a bag in his hands. "Merry Christmas." He smiled once he was in the kitchen, finding Draco who was fussing over the dinner and waving his arms all about.

Draco almost jumped and turned around, smiling brightly and hugging Harry. "I'm really glad you made it!" he said.

"I brought wine." Harry chuckled and kissed him firmly on the lips.

"We'll drink some with the turkey." Draco smiled and took the bag from his hands, taking out the wine. "Oh, Harry…" he breathed as he saw the wine. It was his favorite red wine, an old French wine from possibly the best vineyard, and was impossible to be found in London; along with the fact that it cost over five thousand galleons.

"It's a special order." Harry grinned.

"Thank you!" Draco beamed and put the wine on the kitchen counter before jumping at Harry and hugging him tightly.

"I'm glad you liked it." He smiled.

Draco smiled happily and kissed him. "Let's go serve, the crowd must be starving." He said teasingly and pecked his cheek happily, grabbing the serving plate which had the turkey on, and carrying it to the table.

Harry smiled and helped bring the rest of things that were across the kitchen, and followed Draco into the dining room.

They all cheered for the food and soon everyone's mouths were happily filled with food, conversations quickly taking over the table.

When eating was over, Draco and Harry remained at the table as the rest of them went upstairs to exchange presents and tell each other of their news. Lily got occupied with Scorpius's newest high-tech Muggle device, Scorpius and Albus ran off to his room and stayed there for a long while, and James with his girlfriend escaped somewhere else.

"Now that we're left alone, I… I've been meaning to ask you." Draco said gently with a smile.

Harry smiled. "Go on." He said, looking into his lover's eyes.

"You see, we've been officially together for a little less than four years now, since we both were pricks and wouldn't admit to being together from the first year… And… I wanted to know if you'd be interested in… being my fiancée." Draco breathed, looking at Harry.

"A-Are you… are you serious, Draco?" Harry breathed in shock.

Draco cursed himself mentally and fell to his one knee on the floor, taking out a small box with shaking hands and looking up at Harry. "Will you, Harry James Potter, take me as your husband, and spend the rest of our lives together?" he said nervously, opening the box to reveal a single silver band with small emeralds on it.

Harry gasped and felt tears on his eyes. "Draco, I…" he breathed.

"Just say it, please…" Draco whispered and looked at him hopefully in the eyes.

"Yes."

Draco looked up. "Y-Yes?" he breathed.

Harry nodded happily and fell to the floor next to him, hugging him tightly. "Yes, I will marry you and live with you forever and yes, yes, a thousand times yes, you idiot." He whispered and kissed his face all over.

"Why am I the idiot?" Draco breathed and hugged him tightly with a chuckle.

"Because I've been meaning to do the same for a long while now, I even got you a ring, but didn't have the guts to say it." Harry said and hid his face in Draco's neck, laughing happily.

"Great minds think alike, Potter." Draco smirked and put the ring on Harry's finger, holding him close to himself.

"I still am mad at you for not letting me propose!" Harry said and shoved him.

"Deep down you love me, though." Draco grinned.

"Maybe." Harry chuckled and kissed him.

The two of them resulted in laughing and falling on the floor on each other, until they finally got up and cleaned the table, holding hands and smiling. Things were turning out much better than what it had begun.

Everything fell into place after that.
