Chapter 5
Clock kept his distance as Watch explained what was going to happen.
"First," Watch said, "we need to find the roots of your problems."
Razer looked at the two Gold Lanterns.
"And how do we do that?" he asked.
"We'll have to do a bit of time traveling," Watch said.
"Don't worry," Clock said, "it's not so bad after the first few jumps."
Razer hesitated before nodding.
"Ready Clock?" Watch asked.
"Yes sir," the younger lantern responded.
"Then we shall begin."
Watch held out his hand as a gold energy construction appeared from his ring. It began to grow brighter as Clock added his own energy to it.
The two lanterns then began to chant.
"Time flies for all, for everyone,
Until we see what has begun,
To right the wrongs of distant past,
We show our power in Golden flash!"
Razer felt light headed as they finished, and squeezed his eyes shut.
When he felt it safe to open them he saw lush fields of crops, and clear blue skies.
"Where...where am I now?" he asked himself.
"I would think you would remember this place Razer," came a voice, as Watch appeared beside him.
"Welcome back to Volkreg."
