"Good Morning!" A cheerful voice rang through the apartment. Dean groaned and rolled over in his bed as Cecil grabbed the curtains and flung them open to the desert sun. "Come on you sleepy heads, it's almost 9am!". Dean turned to look at Cecil.

Cecil was already completely dressed, his hair to the same standard as before. He was wearing black skinny jeans, a purple button up top and a black waistcoat with a strange purple logo on it. He looked like he had been awake for hours. Dean groaned and slowly got out of bed, Sam doing the same. "How are you so awake?" Dean asked, he felt dead on his feet. Cecil giggled and span around once on his heel before answering. "I've been up a while." He giggled again and walked over to the window, opening it with a flourish. "I'm sorry about him," A voice said from the doorway. Dean turned to see Carlos in the doorway, in pajamas and labcoat holding a mug of coffee. " He doesn't sleep to well, we've been up since 5am" He yawned again and ran a hand through his dishevelled hair.

After about half an hour Cecil had finally got the four dressed and sat in the kitchen. "Breakfast?" Cecil offered the others. They nodded their heads at him. "Excellent!" He beamed, clapping his hands together and rushing into the kitchen. "Carlos, question. You said about him not sleeping, but he seems so awake?" Sam asked in a hushed tone. Carlos grimaced and took another sip of his coffee before answering. "He never has slept well as far as I know. There have been times he's just collapsed out of exhaustion. But being a radio host he feels he has to be as energetic as possible for the people, He's a bit of a role model or hero or celebrity or something here. It's not good for him but he won't have it any other way" Carlos sighed. Cecil poked his head out of the fridge across the room. "I heard that Carlos." He said, his voice suddenly darker then before "I have a duty to keep the citizens of Night Vale both informed and feeling safe, And that I will do until my last breath." His tone was almost frightening, but Carlos seemed unfazed. "He does that sometimes, no worries." Carlos quickly explained.

"Waffles?" Cecil asked grinning, the aura of a energetic radio host back as suddenly as it went. The trio nodded at him and he grabbed the ingredients. "So I heard you guys are going to join our hunt for Dana huh?" Cecil asked. As he spoke he picked up the bag of flour and held it high, tipping a stream of flour into the purple mixing bowl. Grabbing a egg in each hand he cracked them on the table and split them in as well. "It sounds like somewhere to start. What do you know about her?" Dean asked as Sam pulled out his laptop. "Dana's a local girl and friend. She was one of my interns, still is really, She texts me but I can't text back." Cecil flicked on the stove and put a pan of butter on it as he continued to make the mix. "Are you going to actually measure anything?" Sam asked, looking over the top of his laptop as Cecil freely poured some milk into the bowl. Cecil turned sharply, narrowly missing hitting the pan with the bowl. "Nope." He replied, grabbing the pan and tipping it in as well as he whisked it.

"I don't think he ever measures anything Sam." Carlos looked over Sam's shoulder at the laptop screen. "Who are you emailing?" He added, seeing the hotmail logo. Cecil peered over the breakfast bar at the computer as well. "Bobby. He's the one who told us about this place." Cecil grinned and flipped a pancake expertly. "He came here a couple of years back, but he said he was spooked so bad he left before the day was even over." Dean added. Cecil pointed at the pancakes and then let go of the pan, walking to join the others. "Thanks Jennifer." He said as the pancake flipped again thanks to the faceless old woman who lives in your home. Cecil joined the others in looking at the computer.

"I know him!" Cecil exclaimed as he saw a picture of Bobby. The others turned to look at Cecil as he pulled out his phone. "He came into the station when I was new to broadcasting. Demanded to know how I knew what was going on." Cecil snapped a picture of the computer screen on his phone and began to text as he walked back to the pancakes. "Thanks." He said as he took the pan back.

"You sure that was Bobby? Bobby Singer?" Sam asked as Cecil began plating the food and putting the plates in front of everyone. "Yeah I think so, why not ask him?" Cecil suggested. Sam nodded fairly and put skype on (They now use skype kay?) and called Bobby. After several rings the older man came into view on camera. "What the fuck do you want now yo idjits?" He asked, looking at Sam and Dean. Dean grabbed Cecil and pulled him into camera shot. "You remember him?" Dean asked, pointing at Cecil. Bobby stared at him and tilted his head. "He looks familiar..." He eventually said.

"Put on a purple shirt, smaller glasses and longer hair." Cecil said smoothly in his radio voice, tilting his glasses down. "Holy shit, you're that radio kid right?" Bobby said suddenly, looking him up and down. "Yeah, pleasure to meet you again." Cecil input casually as he pulled his stool into the camera shot to sit between Sam and Dean. "Surprised you're still alive kid, good work." Bobby congratulated. "Did he do the report on you thing to you idjits too?" Bobby asked Sam and Dean. The pair nodded and Cecil giggled. "Thanks, glad to see you look alright as well Sir." Cecil added in thanks. "He did, and they freaked out. At least he didn't proclaim love for you lot." Carlos commented as he walked past the camera.

"Bobby, this is my boyfriend Carlos,Carlos this is Bobby." Cecil introduced, Pulling Carlos over and sitting on him with another giggle. "Pleasure Bobby." Carlos greeted, waving with his hand that was not around Cecil. Bobby just nodded. "What do you mean proclaim love anyway?" Dean asked, looking at the couple. Cecil blushed and buried his head in Carlos's shoulder. "When I first came here with my team, he focused on me and described me then said he fell in love quickly." Carlos explained. Cecil squirmed and added "I said instantly. I fell in love instantly."

Bobby shook his head. "How the hell do you put up with him?" He asked rhetorically. "Anyway, anything else you boys wanted?" Dean and Sam shook there heads down the web camera. "Nothing I can think of." Dean answered Bobby, eating some more of his previously forgotten pancake. "Well good luck and stay safe you idjits. I hope you two survive whatever your town throws at you." He waved and hung up.

"Well that was nice, but we need to go really." Cecil spoke, checking his watch and jumping off Carlos. "We can take my car?" He offered, picking up empty plates and putting them in the washer. Dean groaned and shook his head. "Mine." Was all he said, but Cecil wasn't going to argue with that face any time soon. "Okay, let's go everyone. See you later Jennifer." Cecil waved at something in the corner of Sam's eye and walked out of the room.

"Sammy you sit in the front, love-birds in the back." Dean pointed and jumped into his car. He wasn't sure why, but it had been working when they had gone back for it yesterday. Cecil physically jumped in last and shut the door, rolling his eyes at the radio when crickets came on. "Never really liked this stuff." He pointed at the stereo with his finger and leant back into Carlos. Sam nodded and turned the volume down. "Or me, but it only seems to play one channel, that's how we heard you." Sam said with sigh of annoyance. "Oh that's only for news, you should be able to play tapes now." Cecil spoke quickly. Dean grinned and groaned and put a cassette on. "Aww yes. I got my baby, my music and a possible case, things are looking up."
