Preface,

This story will start at the end of new moon. Instead of getting to return home with Edward and planning Bella's change Alice is forced by Aro and Caius to do it in Volterra.

Chapter one : Leaving human is no option.

Bella p.o.v.

Alice interrupted right on time, I'm sure that Aro would not hesitate for a moment to put an end to me. After all I'm nothing more then food in his eyes. I'll show you! She said in a firm voice. He went over to touch Alice and his eye widened, probably as he saw way beyond Alice her vision and looked into her deepest and darkest memories even some that she can't remember.

How exquisite, Aro reacted. A sharp laughter escaped from his mouth as Alice stated that she would change me herself. They seemed to agree. This would not be a bad thing as we could return to Forks and plan the unavoidable. Even Edward couldn't stop it now, it was too late. I chose to come here and to save him and these are the consequences.

Aro, let us go and by your next visit she will be an immortal just like us. We will leave in peace and our secret will be kept safe. Edward mentioned in his soft voice.

NO, Caius interrupted. We can't take the risk any longer. You have kept a human in the loop for long enough either you change her here. But she will be dead as she leaves it is up to you if she'll be walking out of here or will be carried outside.

NOW? HERE ? Edward yelled at Caius. This is unreasonable... how...? But Edward didn't get the chance to finish his sentence. Our minds are made up my immortal and mortal friends. She changes here or she dies here. You can take the privacy of one of the rooms here and stay as long as her transformation may take. After that you are to leave us alone as you've caused enough of an upset here.

My mind started racing. What would we tell to Charlie and Renee how would Carslisle react knowing that things have gotten this bad out of hand... So much is unplanned this couldn't be happening right now. I always thought I was prepared for the inevitable moment that Edward would slip and bite me of for the moment that he would finally give in to my wishes and change me himself. But this all happened so unexpected. I feared the reaction of Edward and Rosalie most this would be what they wanted least...

Go now! Felix take our young friends to one of our rooms and make sure they don't leave until she is changed. If she's not within 36 hours you kill her yourself!

Aro made it very clear that his decision was final.

Edward started yelling at the three leaders but they didn't seem to care the slightest... Felix then grabbed my arms and started pushing me towards a door left of the way we came in. Edward again started resisting now trying to block Felix's path.

Get out of the way or I'll make this more painfull then necessary.

Edward stood firm as Felix approached him. He didn't move neither flinch.

So be it.

With a firm twist Felix broke my arm and dislocated my shoulder. The crackling sound threw Edward to the floor and made Alice flinch. I let out a loud scream as the pain was immense and I felt my body giving in on itself, I lost consciousness soon after.

I came by in a dark room, a cold room laying on a bed. Edward sat in a chair facing me and seemed angry.

I'm sorry I said in an apologetic tone this is not how I wanted it to go..

You shouldn't have come Bella, this isn't worth the trouble. Now I've done it. I've destroyed everything I wanted to protect.

His self guilt was annoying as hell.

This is what fate decided for us. Right now I have no choice. This is what I wanted just at a weird moment. I need you to get me trough this and not to be punishing yourself. You can't punish yourself because we love each other.

You might be right but it feels wrong. This should've gone different and how we planned it. I wanted you to go to school and study but now all those things need to wait..

We can't change these situations or would you rather have me be the meal of Aro for today?

That's an absurt question. There would be nothing more that I want then spending my life with you, It's just the way that all of this is happening. That you even ask me such a question that's offending.

Listen let's just do this together and pull trough this I need you more than ever.

I will be by your side dear it's just a lot for me to process it's all going so fast. Listen we need to wait for another two hours. Alice gave you a dose of morphine to kill the pain but we can't change you while you are still under sedation . For now get some sleep whilst you still can.

With those words I layed my head back down and fell into a sleep.
