Well, here it is: a brand new chapter of Starting Over! It's quite a bit shorter than previous chapters, but it's still a good chapter in my opinion. I hope you will agree with me. :)

Starting Over

Chapter 14

The expression on Oscar's face made it clear that he was shock by the news. This made Ellie even more nervous about what he would say next- and she didn't even think that that was possible. She didn't want Oscar to leave her because of her pregnancy. She also didn't want to have to get an abortion; but if Oscar insisted on it, she knew that she would do it anyways. Ellie bit her lip and tried to calm herself down, but that was easier said than done.

"Are you sure?" said Oscar as he gave her back the pregnancy test.

"I'm pretty sure," replied Ellie. "I haven't been feeling well for quite a while- basically since the last time we had sex. I'll get this confirmed by a doctor tomorrow, but I'm convinced that I'm pregnant."

Oscar was silent for a few minutes, making Ellie tense. But all of her fears and nerves melted away when Oscar's arms wrapped around her waist and hugged her tightly. Ellie began to silently cry tears of joy and relief. Oscar soon noticed her tears and he wiped them away from her purple eyes.

"Babe, what's wrong?" asked Oscar.

"I'm fine, Oscar… really," replied Ellie. "I was really nervous about telling you the news since this wasn't planned at all. I also figured that you wouldn't want to have more children since you already have Dominik and Aalyah. I was afraid, that's all. I'm just glad you're not mad."

"Sure it wasn't planned, but that's okay," said Oscar gently. "And sure- I already have two kids that I love. But this is our child, babe. I could never, ever be angry about you being the mother of our unborn child. That just makes me love you even more." He punctuated his small speech by kissing Ellie's lips. She happily returned the kiss as love and joy flooded her entire body from head to toe.

2 months later…

Ellie was in the kitchen, cooking dinner for Oscar and her. He was coming home from touring with the WWE. She was excited to see him, especially since he hadn't been home for about a month. The children wouldn't be home until tomorrow afternoon, so Ellie decided to make tonight extra special for her and Oscar.

Ellie had requested her release to Vince McMahon from the WWE due to her pregnancy a few days after a doctor had confirmed that she was pregnant. She decided to be a full-time mom for now- with Oscar working, she didn't need to work also. Besides, the idea of being a full-time mom made her excited for her child to be born.

The WWE Superstars and Divas were surprised by the unexpected news, but they were very happy nonetheless. The roster had realized long ago that Ellie and Oscar were truly in love with each other, and that Ellie had no malicious intentions to hurt Oscar or his kids. This made breaking the news easier for the couple.

Dominik and Aalyah had taken the news that they would be having a half-brother or half-sister very well. They were quite excited that there would be a new sibling to love and protect. Ellie had been worried that they wouldn't have taken the news well, but everything had worked out well.

As for Angie… well, she hadn't taken the news well. One of the kids had excitedly told her the news last week, and Angie was furious. She couldn't believe that Oscar had fathered a child with his girlfriend- she felt that she was being replaced. Angie decided she was going to take care of things- once and for all.

That woman isn't going to know what hit her, thought Angie as she drove to Oscar's mansion as fast as she could.

Ellie sat on the couch in the living room, reading an old issue of Elle magazine. Dinner was now in the oven, and it wouldn't be done for about an hour. Nothing seemed out of ordinary- that is, until a knock interrupted the quiet evening. Ellie looked through the peephole and saw that it was Angie. She reluctantly opened the door.

"Angie? Oscar's not here right now, in case you're looking for him," said Ellie nervously.

"I wasn't looking for him," replied Angie. "I was looking for you. I just wanted to come over and talk things out between you and me. I hope that's okay."

"Oh, sure. Please, come in," answered Ellie. She relaxed and let the older woman into the house. Ellie turned her back on Angie for only a few moments to shut and lock up the front door. But in those few moments, Angie had quickly managed to pull out a small paring knife she had stashed in her handbag. Right as Ellie turned to face her again, Angie managed to stab Ellie in her right shoulder. Ellie fell to the ground as both shock and pain began to fill her entire body.

"Angie! What are you doing?!" she cried.

"Doing what I should've done a hell of a long time ago- kill you, and you're unborn child," replied Angie.

Ellie managed to get up and run up the stairs as fast as she could. She got into the bathroom and locked the door. It was only then she realized she didn't have a phone with her- and that her shoulder was bleeding a lot.

"Open the fucking door!" screamed Angie.

Ellie ignored the woman's yelling as she pressed a towel at the spot where she was bleeding.

"You will not take away my life, or my child's life!" shot back Ellie. She was about to say something else, but she suddenly passed out from losing so much blood.

Mom… Dad… please… I don't wanna die… I don't want my baby to die… please… don't let her kill us… were the only thoughts that kept racing through Ellie's mind as she laid in the bathroom, unconscious from the shock of massive blood loss. She could only hope and pray that today would not be her last day on Earth.

There ya go! I apologize for leaving you all with yet another cliffhanger, but it had to be done. I hope you enjoyed this chapter anyways. :)
