The Huge Election
The Primary Election has now begun. The Adults are going to pick the candidates in the polls. See what happens.
Mrs. Read: Me and your dad will vote when your at school Honey.
Arthur: Okay Mom. Good luck in the primary dad.
Mr. Read: Thank you Arthur.
Arthur is now heading to school with his friends. Then D.W. as well to her school. Then Mr. and Mrs. Read went to vote. Which is in the Church's school gym and lunch room/ Bingo hall.
Man: Which party will you two vote for?
Mr. Read: Democrat.
Man: Sign this and we will give you the ballot.
Mrs. Read: Of course. We know how it is done.
They did that and they got the ballots and went to vote. After that they went home. Later came D.W. and Arthur. They then went to their HQ.
Arthur: So when do the polls close?
Mrs. Read: At 6:00 tonight. You two can go play.
Arthur: Okay. Lets go D.W.
D.W.: Okay.
They went to play. Then it was time for Arthur to do his homework. Then it was time to watch the results.
Anchorman: David Read will be the Democratic candidate for the Election.
He went on and on. Arthur is proud of his dad. See what happens in the next chapter.
