They have no idea that President Obama is coming to Elwood City to endorse Mr. Read for Mayor.
Arthur: So most of the Teachers support you?
Mr. Read: That is true. Mr. Ratburn might be too strict. And Mr. Haney is a Communist.
Arthur: That is true.
Mr. Read: And most Caterers support me as well. See you after school.
Arthur: See you later dad.
Arthur went off to school.
Arthur: So far my dad is in the lead.
Muffy: My dad might change that with the debate.
Arthur: That is true.
Then came President Obama.
President Obama: Are you David Read?
Mr. Read: That is me Mr. President sir.
President Obama: Here is some money for your campaign.
Mr. Read: Thank you Mr. President.
Then came the first debate. They went at it. Mr. Read and Mr. Crosswire did the best. But Mr. Read did a little better.
Arthur: You did well dad.
Mr. Read: Why thank you.
Arthur: It seems like 7 out of 10 of the undecided voters picked you.
Mr. Read: That is true.
They are getting ready for the 2nd debate.
Arthur: Where is the 2nd debate at?
Mr. Read: At the Community Center.
Arthur: Okay dad.
