[Story note: The story takes place one year after the first outbreak]

{Voice Over}

The world… is fucked. Yes, I said it. Fucked. The dead rose, they started infecting people and the shit hit the fan. If that wasn't bad enough, the country took a nosedive and the people in this fucked up world… are also fucked up. Was that too many fucks? I have zero to give anyways. So, yeah, the world ended, there's a bunch of things and people trying to kill me and I'm just here to survive. I'm Bella Swan and here is my story.

{End Voice Over}

[Somewhere around Atlanta, Georgia]

Chaos. Torture. Pain. Words do not describe how hard it is to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. It would have been hard without the biters and lurkers but add that to the disastrous fallout of ground zero of the literal zombie apocalypse, it makes it harder to survive. A year has passed since the start of the outbreak. No one really understood how it happened, they just knew that it happened. There was no turning back time to prevent it. There was no one coming to rescue them all from their fate. They had to save themselves.

Bella sat in the car she had managed to get to work back in Mississippi. It was a beat up, 1980 Chevy Impala. She had seen better Impalas, but beggars couldn't be choosers in this day and age. Day was breaking and she barely slept. It was hard to sleep when you were on your own in this kind of world. She saw a few lurkers shuffling down the street. The heat of summer left it stuffy inside the car, but Bella couldn't afford to let the windows down, so sweat beaded over her skin. Her hair was braided back so it was out of her face and out of the way. She wore some jeans and steel toed boots to protect her ankles and part of her calf. Her leather vest showed her bare arms and her stomach. It was the most skin she was willing to show off, but it was hot in Georgia. She looked around outside as the sun peaked over the horizon through the trees. She reached into the backseat, pulling out a bow with arrows. Archery was something that she learned as a girl with her dad. She only had a little bit of the jerky she made a week ago from the dove that she shot, so she needed to find something else to smoke and turn into jerky to preserve it. She checked her pistol to make sure it was loaded and she had her knife strapped to her belt as well. She waited a moment before opening the car door and taking to the woods quickly and quietly.

Even with it being early in the morning, it was still hot outside. The Georgia heat was more than what Bella was used to. She was from Washington State originally, so it never got so humid there like it did in the south. She crept quietly, following the tracks of a deer. Taking down a deer would mean plenty of food for a while. The thought of catching up to the deer and having that much food excited Bella. When she came to a clearing, she saw the deer as it grazed lightly on the grass that was growing up towards the heat of the sun. She took her aim and she waited a breath before her arrow sailed through the air and nailed the deer in the neck. The deer startled, jumping a little but it stumbled and hit the ground. Bella moved fast as she approached the deer, not wanting to wait another moment. She saw another arrow sticking in it as she got to it and she frowned. Her arrows were green, this one was red. She heard the twig snap and she pulled another arrow and she spun, coming face to face with a man holding a crossbow. His dark hair was shaggy, unkempt and it flowed right below his ears. His arms were bare like hers, toned from obvious years of the outdoors. His face had scruff, from not shaving consistently and his eyes were grey blue, his cheekbones high showing off a slight native ancestry, but he was slightly pale, like she was but tanned from exposure to the sun. He wore a motorcycle vest that was dark and had wings on the back embroidered. Bella studied him as he studied her. She saw the sweat drip down his face and she felt sweat drip down her back as well.

"Hunting the same deer." Bella finally spoke, but she didn't lower her bow.

The man was quiet, but he nodded.

"I'm not going to shoot you." Bella said calmly. "I'm just hunting. I don't intend on killing anyone unless they try to kill me first. So. Are you going to try and kill me?"

"You're not from around here." The man finally said, but he lowered the bow.

Bella lowered hers as well, but she didn't let her guard down. "No. I'm from Washington state. I've only been in the South for a few years. My name is Bella." She introduced.

"Daryl." He grunted out.

Bella saw the walker before Daryl did and she snapped her bow up fast and shot an arrow, nailing the walker in the head before it could creep closer to Daryl from behind.

Daryl hadn't flinched, but he glanced behind him at the walker lying dead on the ground. He went and retrieved her arrow and brought it back over to her and handed it to her.

Bella took her arrow and then looked at the deer. "So. Do you want to split the deer?"

"I have a whole group to feed. But… it's only fair. You took the killing shot." Daryl admitted gruffly.

Bella studied Daryl a little more, taking him in fully. "Alright. I gut, you skin?" She said and he nodded. They moved to the deer and they started tag teaming the cleaning process.

After a while Bella heard the twigs snap behind Daryl and she shot to her feet, taking her knife and throwing it through the skull of another walker as it came for the smell of the deer. There were a few more encroaching the perimeter, so Bella ran, pulling the knife from the walker's skull before throwing and nailing another in the head, before stringing her bow from her back and firing off two more arrows, taking out the remaining two. She retrieved her arrows, knife and moved back towards Daryl, but she saw a few more walkers starting to trickle in.

"Daryl. Move fast. Take what you can." Bella said quickly.

"Then you-"

"I'll find more food. Your people need food, take it." Bella said and fired another arrow at another walker and another, before she pulled the machete from her side. A small herd was starting to gather now and it had to be because of the dead deer.

Daryl glanced over, seeing Bella, taking out walkers as she protected him and him cleaning the deer. He had never met someone like her before. He worked faster, gathering the meat and packing it the best he could in the backpack he had with him.

Bella caught the mouth of a walker with the handle of her machete before she slipped her knife in her left hand and drove it up into its skull. She moved quick, slicing through the head of another walker, while doubling back towards Daryl. "Go. Go now. There are too many of them falling in." She panted out.

Daryl growled a little to himself, but he shouldered the backpack and then grabbed Bella's arm and pulled her towards him as he brought up his own blade and took out a walker before pulling her along with him. "Stay close." He said and he let her go to fire his crossbow to clear the path. Bella followed him, making sure to watch his back as they left the woods towards the road.

"I have a car." She said quickly and they made it up the slight hill, the old Impala coming into view. "Get in." She said as she ran to the driver's side. Daryl didn't ask questions, he just got in the passenger seat and Bella started the car and drove away down the road.

They were silent a few moments before Daryl spoke. "We're staying at the prison. Go a mile, there's a service road. Take it." He directed.

Bella nodded, not saying anything and followed Daryl's directions.

[The Prison]

Bella approached the gate of the prison, she saw someone up in the tower and she saw two people at the gate, staring at her as she pulled up. Daryl stepped out of the car, he waved a hand motioning for them to open the gate and the guys opened the gate and Daryl ducked down in the car again and Bella drove in. She parked the car and sat there a moment. "This is genius."

"We stumbled across it a few months back." Daryl said and then left the car.

Bella blew out a breath and got out of the car. She was surrounded by people, her eyes moved across the small crowd and she felt a little anxious with so many people.

"This is Bella. She helped me out." Daryl gestured to Bella. "She killed the deer I was tracking and she split it with us." He explained further.

A man studied Bella, his blue eyes looking her over, like he was gauging what she would do next.

Bella nodded. "I've delivered Daryl to you guys safely. I'll just uh. Be on my way."

"Wait," Daryl said, looking over at another guy. "She's pretty awesome. I mean. I watched her take down a lot of biters without breaking a sweat."

"I'm always sweating, it's hot in Georgia." Bella pointed out. "But it's not necessary. I don't want to take resources from a group. I'm okay on my own."

The guy nodded. "No, he's right." His blue eyes studied her more. "You're welcome to stay with us, help the group. It's us against the dead now. I'm Rick. Rick Grimes. This is Lori my wife and my son Carl." He motioned to a brunette with dark eyes, she was obviously pregnant and a boy about twelve, with dark hair and blue eyes like Rick.

Bella nodded to him. "Nice to meet you." She said and her eyes went to an Asian man standing next to a woman with short, dark hair and green eyes. There was another girl with them, a blonde, with similar facial features of the other girl and Bella thought they could be siblings. There was an older man with them and then a woman with shorter greying hair and blue eyes.

"Come on in. We'll cook some deer and get to know each other." Rick suggested.

Bella looked over at Daryl and he gave her a little nod. She gave in, the hunger in her belly driving her to agree to staying, at least for the time being. She had spent the better part of the year on her own. She didn't need others to survive. She was strong enough to be on her own.

Bella sat inside the prison at one of the tables in the cafeteria. It was cleaned out, no walkers infecting the prison or at least on C Block. Carol, the woman with short grey hair and blue eyes, took the deer meat and was preparing it in the kitchen. They seemed to have some power in the prison. She found that pretty interesting. There had to be solar power or generators that were running things. If there were generators, that meant that it had to be in the basement somewhere so the sound wouldn't draw the walkers in. There were others in the prison that she didn't immediately meet outside. There was Sasha, Bob and Tyrese, who were all very friendly. Sasha and Tyrese were brother and sister. Then there was Sophia, Carol's daughter. She was the same age as Carl, Rick's son. Lori was very pregnant and from the looks of it, Rick and Lori weren't very close even if they were married. Then there was Michonne. She wielded a katana, Bella had noted and she was one of the quieter ones. There were others in the prison Bella realized it was a small community here. There were a few other children that were all siblings and then there were some others that seemed to be wary of Bella's arrival. They didn't seem like the fighting type either.

Maggie, the green-eyed brunette, came to sit next to Bella. Bella learned in the short bit, everyone's names and that Maggie and Glenn, the Asian man, were married. The blonde was Maggie's sister, Beth and the older man was Hershel. "So, you've been out there by yourself?"

Bella nodded, pulling her water from her bag she set beside her on the ground. "Yeah. I was on base when it happened." She said and took a drink of her water.

"Military?"

Bella nodded. "3rd Ranger Battalion. Fort Benning."

"You? Military?" Lori said. She seemed surprised.

Bella raised a brow. "Yes ma'am. I'm an Army Ranger." She said and looked back to Maggie.

"You seem young to be an Army Ranger." Lori stated, obviously suspicious.

"Not at all. I'm 28 ma'am." Bella said. "I went to med school first. Became a doctor, started my residency in New York. Bounced back home to Washington state when my dad got sick to take care of him. He died, lung cancer. I joined the army because I needed something else to do with my life. Finished ranger school last year. Did one tour in Kuwait before coming back to Fort Benning and was there when the shit hit the fan." She explained.

"You're a doctor?" Hershel asked.

Bella turned her attention to the older man. "Yes sir. I have my medical license. I was a surgical resident before my dad got sick." She was respectful. It was learned from the military, but she had also been raised to be respectful to her elders in general.

Carol walked in with the deer prepared for everyone. There was mashed potatoes with it. It was from the food stash in the prison that they found when they got there. There was plenty of dry goods to get them through, but meat was essential to stay healthy and to have energy. Carol set a tray down in front of Bella and smiled. "Here you go."

"Oh, this is too much food. You shouldn't have." Bella said, looking at the mashed potatoes and deer. Her stomach felt starved at the smell of the food.

"Not at all. Go ahead and eat." Carol insisted and then the others got up to venture into the kitchen to get their own food. Carol stayed behind, making sure that Bella would eat.

Bella picked up the fork and she took a bite. The instant it hit her tongue, it tasted amazing. Better than the dove, she had jerkied a while back. This was just amazing. She closed her eyes and savored the buttery texture of the meat. She wondered how anyone could cook this amazing. Tears actually filled her eyes a little as she chewed the food. It was the best thing she had eaten in a while. She opened them to look at Carol. "Thank you."

Carol smiled, her eyes crinkling in the corners when she did. "You're very welcome." She said before going to the kitchen, letting Bella enjoy her food.

Bella ate the rest of it rather quick. By the time Maggie made it back to the table, she was finishing the last of the potatoes.

Maggie smiled. "Haven't eaten in a while?"

"Dove jerky for a couple weeks. I eat sparingly." Bella admitted. "I really appreciate it. The food is good. She's a great cook. Reminds me of…"she drifted off as she thought about Esme. The mother she wished she had. The mother that protected her more than once. She just smiled a little. "Reminds me of an old friend." She finished and looked at Maggie. "You've all been hospitable. I'd say it's a Southern thing, but honestly, you're the first people I've encountered since this happened, that didn't try to kill me." She admitted.

Maggie frowned. "People tried to kill you?"

"I move around a lot. I spent most of my time just trying to keep away from the walkers, but I've stumbled across people before and… and they weren't so kind. So. I'm pretty wary of people now." Bella admitted. There was more to worry about than just walkers in this world. With there being no laws or structure, it was easy for criminals to rise up. The filthiest of the filth survived and they were the ones that you had to look out for. The ones that pillaged and raped just because it was fun, to them.

Daryl walked into the prison then, his crossbow slung over his shoulder. He looked in Bella's direction briefly, before he walked into the kitchen, pushing the metal door as he walked through. He found Bella interesting. She was tough, and he wondered where she gained that much strength. She was clearly very skilled with a bow and with her weapons. He watched her throw a knife with perfect precision through the skull of a walker and he had never seen anyone do that before. He saw Rick, standing in the kitchen, with a tray of food. "So, what do you think of Bella?" He asked.

Rick took a bite of food and leaned against the steel counter in the kitchen. "She's something." He admitted. "You said she took the kill shot on the deer?"

"Yeah. I didn't realize she was hunting the same deer. She moves like an expert. I don't think I have ever seen anyone move like that. I wonder what she did before the world shit on itself." Daryl said and grabbed some deer meat to eat on.

Rick nodded. "Army Ranger." He supplied and finished his food. "I was eavesdropping." He admitted.

"An Army Ranger. No shit." Daryl said with a nod. "She's clearly talented."

There was a commotion outside and Rick and Daryl moved fast, rushing out into the dining area.

Bella grabbed her bow and she ran outside. She heard the commotion too. There were armored trucks rolling up to the fence gates. Rick came to stop beside Bella as he stared at the man that got out of the large tank they had.

"Shit." Rick muttered.

Bella frowned and looked at Rick. "You know them?"

"Unfortunately." Rick said and swallowed.

"Come out Rick." A man's voice boomed.

Daryl scowled. "Tell him to fuck off."

"They have a tank, Daryl." Rick said.

Rick blew out a breath. "Okay, Daryl, on my right. Carol," he turned and looked at Carol. "Make sure to get the kids to the bus. Radio the tower, tell Tyrese and Bob to be ready to fight." He said quickly and looked at Bella. "I'm sorry. There's a rear entrance that we have a bus parked ready for an escape with the children and others that can't fight. You can slip out-"

"No, I'll stay right here. These guys are bad news?"

"They killed some of our people. Kidnapped Glenn and Maggie and tortured them." Rick said and looked back towards the fence. The guy shouted again. "He calls himself the Governor."

Bella made a hmph sound. "Okay. Conceited. Alright, well he's threatening this place. I have nothing better to do, so I'll fight with you."

"You hardly know us." Rick was shocked.

Bella shrugged. "It's the least I can do. You guys fed me." She said and she positioned her bow on her back. She had a sidearm and a machete and a couple of throwing knives. Her khaki cargo pants had many hidden treasures, like a couple of grenades she picked up a while back. "Let's go. I'll go with you two." She said with a nod.

Daryl and Rick exchanged a glance but nodded to each other before going down to see the Governor.

Bella was quiet as she came to a stop at the fence. The Governor had an eye patch, his dark hair shaggy, but well brushed. His eyes were a piercing blue color and he was cleanly shaven. There were three armored vehicles and a tank. There were about two dozen men and women with him. It was clear that Rick and the others were outnumbered.

"We have an established community here." Rick said. "We have children."

The Governor didn't seem impressed. "Doesn't matter. I have my own to protect. We want what you have Rick and you're going to give it to us. You have until sundown to leave."

Rick shook his head. "We can share the prison. There's plenty of room for all of us." He reasoned.

Bella was ready for anything. It was very possible that this would be her last day on earth. She scanned the crowd and her eyes landed on one person. She narrowed her eyes recognizing the guy. He was bad news and it made her anxiety spike a little. She had encountered him before and he was not a great guy to deal with. His name was Edward.

"No exceptions Rick. I want this place. Either surrender now, leave and no one has to die." The Governor said, not backing down.

Rick looked at Daryl and Daryl shook his head.

Bella nudged Rick with her elbow and leaned in, whispering in his ear. "I know one of the guys that's with him. He's bad news. It's likely they're going to attack no matter what you do." She said lowly in his ear.

Rick nodded and looked at the Governor. "No. This is our home." He said. "We have children and pregnant women here. We can't-"

"That's too bad then." The Governor said and then he signaled.

"Shit." Bella said and she backed up as the tank proceeded forward. The Governor smiled gleefully, like he was going to enjoy bombarding this place and killing innocent people. He raised a gun and aimed at Rick, but Bella was faster. She pushed Rick out of the way and got tagged in her shoulder. It hindered her just a moment, before she raised her own sidearm and she fired as she stumbled back, tagging the Governor in his chest, causing him to fall off the side of the tank. But it was too late. The tank was firing at the prison, knocking holes in the sides and it was pushing down the gates. The men that were with the Governor started firing their weapons and soon, it was chaos.

Rick wasn't expecting Bella to shove him out of the way and when she was hit, he started forward but she steadied herself and fired at the Governor. "Bella!"

"Fall back!" She called as she ran. Daryl right with her, firing back at the others while trying to zig zag out of range of the others. They made it back behind the second gate. Maggie and Glenn were firing through the fence and she saw Tyrese and Bob rushing across the field, ducking and running from being fired at.

Bella's heart was pounding hard in her chest as she ran. She didn't even feel the pain in her shoulder as she moved quickly, trying to stay alive at this point. Walkers were starting to flood towards the prison. All the gunfire attracted a herd and now they were being swarmed. She ducked behind a shed as Edward fired at her.

Edward was fast, running quickly, singling her out. His dark chestnut hair was sculpted perfectly on his head, his green eyes void of empathy for another human being as he charged on, looking to fight Bella.

Bella turned the corner, shooting at him, but he ducked behind another building. She tried to move around the other side of the shed, but he managed to rush her, knocking her backwards and getting on top of her. He brought a knife up like he was going to stab at her, but she fought against him hard. Her shoulder screamed at her now that she was having to exert herself to try and get out from under Edward.

"You thought I wouldn't find you." Edward growled, his knife close to her throat.

"No, I knew I'd find you." Bella growled back. She shifted, his knife slipping, cutting her cheek some, but she unseated him, knocking him off her. She brought her gun up fast as he tried to advance on her again, but she shot him right between the eyes. He collapsed ontop of her, dead, but she didn't pause not even a moment. She pulled herself out from under him and got to her feet to help the others. She saw a dozen walkers advancing towards Maggie and Beth. They hadn't gotten on the bus and she cursed. She heard the bus leave, which meant the kids were safe in the very least and hopefully Lori. She heard the tank blast more and it was getting closer to the prison. She rushed towards the tank, firing at the two men that were shooting from the sides of the tank, taking them out, before she reached into her pocket and pulled the pin on a grenade and shoved it down the barrel of the tank. She sprinted, bringing her machete from her side and slashed through walkers as she moved away from the tank before it exploded. She made it over to Beth right before a walker took a bite out of her and sliced the head in half.

Beth's blue eyes were wide, looking at Bella, thankful that Bella had saved her.

Bella gave Beth her machete and pulled two throwing knives from her pouch on her side and she threw both of them at the same time nailing two walkers in their skull. It stunned Maggie to see Bella move that fast. Bella retrieved her throwing knives, just to fling them again into the skulls of two more walkers. She took her bow from her back and fired rapidly, with extreme precision at three walkers, before retrieving her arrows and knives quickly.

"Where's Glenn?" Maggie shouted towards Beth.

"I don't know! I think on the bus!" Beth called back and slashed at a walker.

Bella turned, her arrow aimed and she shot another walker as it approached. "Maggie, we have to get out of here. There are too many biters filing in."

"I can't leave without Glenn."

"He's on the bus." Bella said. "He'll be okay. Come on." She said and she doubled back, staying with Beth and Maggie as they moved back towards the prison. They ran into Bob and Sasha on the way back. "Where's Daryl and Rick?"

"I don't know. I saw Rick in the field. He was fighting with the Governor." Bob said and wiped sweat out of his eyes.

Bella looked around. "Okay. You guys get going. I'll stay and find Rick and Daryl. The tank is out of commission, but if I can make it to one of the armored trucks, then I can get back to the main road." She explained.

"I'll stay with you." Bob said quickly.

"No, stay with the others. I'll be fine."

"You were shot." Sasha said, nodding to Bella's shoulder.

Bella's shirt was soaked with her own blood and her shoulder was starting to throb. She knew that she needed to tend to it soon or she would lose too much blood and be useless, but she couldn't stop now. "I'm okay. Trust me." She said and looked at Maggie. "I'll find you. Go to the main service road from here."

Maggie hesitated, but she nodded and then she looked at Beth, seeing how scared she was. "Let's check the prison one last time."

"We just came from inside. Walkers are filling up inside." Bob said. "Okay. We'll go to the main service road. Bella, be careful."

"I'll try. Cover me." Bella said and she left the safety of the little pocket they were standing in and went back towards the field, clearing a path as she went. She found Rick holding his side, his face busted up a little, but he was alive. She fired a couple arrows, nailing walkers that edged in close, before she went to Rick and slid her good shoulder under his arm to help him walk. "Come on. Let's get to that truck. Did you see Daryl?"

"Right here." Daryl said as he walked over, firing his crossbow at a walker as it came in close. Most of the walkers were already at the prison, leaving the field outside the broken fence, clearer.

"Help me get him in the truck." Bella said and Daryl shoulders his crossbow and helped get Rick into the armored truck.

"Carl." Rick groaned out.

"Beth said that the kids got on the bus." Bella explained and she got up in the driver's seat and started the truck. It sputtered to life. Daryl got in on the other side, pushing Rick towards the middle. Bella backed out, turning the truck around to get back to the service road.

Daryl looked over at Bella. She was covered in blood and he could see the pain on her face now that she was sitting down.

Bella felt the pain radiate in her shoulder, but she didn't say anything as she drove. Blood still oozed from her shoulder, but she would fix it when she stopped.

The service road was clear of walkers, but there were some stray cars that were pushed off to the side of the road. Maggie was there with Beth, Bob and Sasha. They knew the bus had to of come this way, but they were waiting on Bella to meet up with them.

Maggie was anxious. She was separated from her dad and Glenn. She hoped nothing bad had happened to any of them. She was pacing around the beat-up car when she saw the armored truck pull up, easing to a stop.

Bella hopped out of the truck, pulling her shirt up over her head when she did. She started ripping the shirt into strips. Blood oozed from her shoulder, she looked at it and then twisted to see an exit wound. That was a good sign the bullet wasn't stuck inside.

Daryl moved to help her. "Let me." He said and took the strips from her. He pressed a strip into the wound and she flinched. "Sorry."

"It's okay. Just a flesh wound." Bella said, her dark eyes looking over at Maggie, who was watching her, concern in her eyes. "Hey, I'm okay. Not the first time I've been shot." She said with a little smile.

"You've been shot before?" Daryl asked as he tied another strip around her.

Bella nodded. "Twice. Side and back." She explained and groaned a little as Daryl tightened the strip to stop the bleeding.

"You… you took that bullet for me." Rick said. He managed to get out of the truck. He had to keep moving or he'd get stiff.

Bella looked at Rick. "You need to be sitting. You took a beating."

"You were shot." Rick retorted. "Why did you do that?"

"Well I wasn't going to let him just shoot you." Bella said and nodded to Daryl when he finished bandaging her shoulder up. "Thanks."

"No problem." Daryl said and looked at Maggie and Beth. "I didn't see your dad at all, I didn't see Glenn either. I'm sure they made it out on the bus."

Another vehicle approached and they all went on guard. Bella grabbed her knife from it's holder on her belt and she readied herself.

The beat up Jeep came to a stop and Glenn stumbled out of it and Maggie was rushing to him immediately. Michonne and Carl got out on the other side.

"Carl!" Rick rushed towards Carl, ignoring the pain in his ribs and he scooped his son up, holding him tight.

Bella relaxed a little. "You weren't on the bus?"

Glenn kissed Maggie, pushing her hair back from her face and resting his forehead to hers briefly, before he turned his attention to Bella. "No. The bus left. I got off the bus to help Hershel… but… Maggie." He said and looked at his wife. "I'm so sorry." He murmured.

"No…"Beth sobbed out and Daryl had to catch her from falling to the ground.

Maggie teared up, burying her face in Glenn's shoulder and cried for the loss of her father. Since this thing began she had lost so many people.

Bella shook her head. "I'm so sorry." She offered.

Sasha grimaced a little. "Hershel was our doctor but he was more than that." She said.

Bob nodded his agreement. "That's a shame."

"Who all was on the bus?" Rick asked Glenn.

"I don't know. I saw Karen on the bus, and I saw three of the kids get on the bus and Sophia." Glenn said.

"Lori?"

Glenn shook his head. "I don't know. I don't remember seeing her.

Bella frowned. "She could still be back at the prison?"

"I-"

Bella walked towards the armor truck and opened the side door. She started to get in.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Daryl asked.

"Going back." Bella said pointedly. She hopped up in the driver's seat and shut the door. She looked out the window at Daryl. "She's pregnant and scared. I have-"

Rick kissed the top of Carl's head. "I'll go with I-"

"You can barely move Rick. I'll be fine." Bella said and started the truck.

"I'll go." Michonne said and moved around the passenger side and got in.

Daryl frowned. He didn't like this. "I'll-"

"Stay here." Bella said, her dark eyes studying Daryl's grey blue ones for a brief moment. "We'll be back." She said and then she backed away before turning around and driving back towards the prison.
