"You know they're a couple right." Robin asked Kaldur as Conner and M'gann passed.
"I believe I knew before they did…"
Wally and Artemis walked in.
"Do we tell them?"
"It is not our place."
Then Blue came in sporting a new black-eye. "What happened to you?" Robin asked.
"It's a long story." She touched her eye. "Heh." She shrugged. "One of many."
"So if Zatara's our supervisor of the week. Why is he still here?" Wally pointed at Captain Marvel.
"And why is he eating my snacks!"
"Recognised, Batman B02."
"Computer." He ordered immediately. "National news."
And it turned itself on where 'Cat Grant' was reporting.
There was some sort of plant attacking Metropolis.
"Should we get out there?" Robin asked.
"No." He responded. "The League will soon have the situation under control. It's not why I'm here. According to your intel Sportsmaster supplied Cadmus Blockbuster Formula to Kobra."
"Who combined it with Bane's Venom to make Kobra-Venom!" Wally stated.
"Which is what the Brain used to create his animal army."
"The Brain also used inhibitor collars like the one at Belle Reve Prison."
"Batman; is it possible that, that thing is on Kobra-Venom too?"
"I had Green Lantern do a spot analysis the plant does contain cell amounts of Kobra-Venom and another drug…"
"Psyche?" Blue said.
"Yes. Psyche."
"Wait what's Psyche?" M'gann frowned.
"It's like…Venom's brother. Where Venom was a steroid that increased muscle mass and strength; Psyche affects your brain and its development and intelligence." The Port Addison protector replied.
"It's dangerous?" Wally asked still slightly unsure.
"Extremely and very addictive if they're mixing Psyche with Kobra-Venom we're in trouble. But this can't be a coincidence. Unrelated criminals co-operating with each other world wide?" She said and Robin checked his watch computer.
"Exactly; it is now clear our enemies have joined a…secret society of villains the attack on Metropolis is only the beginning." Batman agreed.
"Got that right!" Robin said as more screens lit up with more plant creatures. "These things have sprouted up in Gotham City, Paris, Star City, and Taipei…." The screens went static.
"Dude!" Wally said.
"It's not me someone's cutting into the satellite signal. All satellite signals."
The screen lit up again….
This time with the Joker. "Ladies and gentlemen we interrupt you're regularly scheduled program to bring you this….important announcement."
The screen shifted to a bunch of well known super villains. "….From the Injustice League!"
"We are responsible for the attacks on your cities!" Another member began. "If you wish to save them a ransom of ten billion. American dollars in required. Delivery instructions have been sent to the United Nations…there is no time limit. But…the longer your governments wait…"
The Joker finished. "The more we get to have our….jollies!"
He laughed and the screen went dark.
"Count Vertigo? The Joker? Poison Ivy? Ultra Humanite? Atomic Skull? Black Adam? Wotan? Seven heavy hitters probably behind everything and everyone we've faced."
"There's your secret society." Wally said.
"Not so secret anymore." Artemis frowned.
"Perhaps after India they saw no point in hiding any more."
"Yeah! That was there mistake right now I say we go kick some creature butt!" Wally grinned.
"The Justice League will handle the plants; I've a different job for this team."
"Ah man! Ow!" He yelped when Artemis hit him.
"So many plants attacking at the same time they're must be a central control system your mission is to find it and destroy it."
"You realise." Zatara said walking up to Batman. "What you're really asking them to do?"
"They're ready." Batman said.
"Ready? For what?"
"The Justice League are fighting plants guess who we're going after…" Blue sighed.
"What….oh boy…"
"Batman I trust you know what you are doing?" Zatara said. This was a question not a statement.
"I trust you can locate the enemy?"
Was that a Bat-burn?
Were there such things as a Bat-burn?
Well there was now.
"Indeed, Wotan's mystical energies are part of how the plants are controlled. Robin if you will provide a holo-map."
He did.
"I'll such for signs of Wotan." He put his hands out. "Etacol retnecipe fo yrecros!"
Got it.
"There that is where you'll find the Injustice League's control system."
"Co-ordinates locked in." Robin nodded. "The Louisiana Bayou."
"We are on our way!"
They left.
Bayou Bartholomew.
October 1st, 18:52.
"What's in the duffel?" Wally asked.
"Plan B." Kaldur replied.
Blue and Robin sat next to one another.
"He's fine."
"W-What?" She blinked looking at him.
"I know you've been struggling on your on in Port Addison because Bleu Illusion's taking so long with his off-earth mission so you called in Red Arrow…"
"Actually I threatened him…and when that didn't work I used my puppy dog eyes; no need for my ability dude's got the will of a sweet starved six year old offered a candy bar."
Robin chuckled. "He's okay." He promised her.
"He better be." Was all she said.
"Ow…" M'gann muttered holding her head.
"You okay?" Conner asked instantly.
"I just feel dizzy…"
"Martian's get air-sick?" Robin asked.
"She does look greener then usual."
"No it's not me…her…"
"I feel fine." Artemis frowned.
"I'm good." Blue nodded.
"No the Bio-Ship. She's trying to shield us but…"
Don't you just hate the but?
Not seconds later they were went spinning by a punch by Black Adam before they crashed down into the Bayou.
The giant plant vines that appeared in the cities appeared around them latching onto the ship and if it wasn't for Superboy and M'gann they'd be pretty screwed.
Then again, Superboy did punch a hole through the Bio-ship that had crashed into the water causing it to flood.
"So not cool." Blue muttered diving under.
They got up onto a river bank and watched the vines bring the Bio-Ship down under the water.
They were blown backwards by Count Vertigo's ability.
"Vertigo." Wally groaned.
"Count! Vertigo to you."
Superboy charged but was met with a punch in the face from Black Adam knocking him out cold.
"Robin, Miss Martian, Bleubell disappear, we'll hold them off! You three fulfil the mission." Kaldur's voice sounded in their heads via mind link.
They nodded and Miss Martian cloaked herself while the other two disappeared into the shadows the twilight sun gave them.
-LATER-
'I've lost contact with Aqualad and the others. Should we…' Miss Martian told them as Robin read his computer/watch data.
"Sorry that's not the gig." Robin replied. "This is….the Injustice League central control system."
"Whelming…." Blue stated nodding her head. "It looks like that plant is acting as an antenna to other plants worldwide…'
"Well hello." A female voice said and they spun just to be trapped in vines.
It's official.
Blue hated vines.
Ultra-Humanite landed behind her taking aim at them with his blaster.
"…And goodbye."
Blue closed her eyes and opened them again flashing her tell-tale 'I'm going to manipulate you and there's nothing you can do about it' blue power.
He shot…breaking them free from the vines instead of destroying them.
Robin and Blue took off in the same distraction Poison Ivy chasing them using her (yes more of them) vines to attack but due to the pure awesomeness of the two youngest members of the Team, Bat-a-rangs and manipulation abilities and gymnastic skills they managed to evade her.
"Guys she's made contact!" Miss Martian told them.
"Artemis?"
"No."
Gotta love the Bio-Ship, it freed their teammates from Wotan's mystic prison who proceeded to stall the Injustice League with M'gann joining them.
Robin and Blue landed on the roof beside the 'antenna' vine.
"Ready to blow something up?"
"Oh I was born ready." She told him and he took out his explosives the manipulator using her glowing ability to set them in place.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two…
"My baby!" Poison Ivy shouted.
One.
Boom.
It blew up perfectly falling limp and lifeless on top of the doom.
And standing in the middle of this chaos?
Robin and Blue.
"Timber." He said.
She smirked.
Ivy. Engaged sent a hoard of vines at them that were destroyed via a blue flash…
The two where then shot back because of the Joker and the atomic power of Atomic Skull.
"Children foiled our plan?" The Joker hissed. "Inconvincible! Unacceptable! Retributionable!"
"Kill them!" Count Vertigo. "Kill them all!"
Wotan's magic is what brought them all down, a force that he purposely struck Blue's face blurring her vision and making her dizzy, unable to use her manipulation ability.
"Plan B!" Kaldur ordered and M'gann called the Bio-ship.
They know knew what the duffel contained.
The Helmet of Fate.
"Aqualad don't!" Kid Flash shouted before Black Adam punched him in the face.
Too late.
"Aw dude…" Kid Flash said holding his arm staring at Kaldur – now Doctor Fate. "Wotan…you are mine."
The rest of the team took the other members of the Injustice League.
Blue's vision cleared and she was pissed off.
"I can't hear you Martian…but perhaps I can hear you scream!" Poison Ivy announced while trying to attack a cloaked M'gann.
"And perhaps I can be of assistance…." Vertigo began to use his power before he was blasted back.
"Not in my world. Turn! Artemis now!" She shouted forcing the villain to turn and be met with a roundhouse kick to the face as Wally speeded in to save M'gann.
Artemis ripped Count Vertigo's scarf off and used it as a sling for Wally's arm.
It was the arrival of the Justice League a few minutes later that sealed the Injustice League's defeat.
They surrounded the villains. "It's over." Was all Batman said.
"There will be another day." The Count promised as the Injustice League surrendered.
"Another day? There will be another day….!" The Joker shouted. "Not for any of us ahahaha!" He maniacally screamed his hands started to move like he was controlling a puppet.
Vines lifted out of the water and 'Joker Venom' was released.
"Don't breathe!" Batman shouted and Blue curled into herself putting hr hands over her face desperately this thing contained….
Psyche.
She screamed as it burnt her arms that covered her face…
"Fear not!" Doctor Fate/Kaldur shouted and the smoke was taken in by a spell of the Order Lord's power. "Fate has intervened!"
"Robin…." She whispered, she knew he'd read her file, she knew he knew her life, her origins….just as she knew his.
He also knew what Psyche did to her.
"I got you." He whispered back and she leaned on him, his cape covering her arms as she stared at the angry rash and red welts that had appeared on it.
Was this what Cobra Venom Psyche did to her?
Was it worse then pure Psyche?
She hoped she'd never find out.
"How could you let him put on the helmet! Now Nabu will never let him go!" Wally shouted angrily. "And Kaldur will be stuck as Doctor Fate forever…"
A few minutes later though…Kaldur was allowed to remove the helmet.
"He let you go?"
"He almost did not. But your friend Kent was most helpful. He said hello." Kaldur told him.
"We're done here, the Super Villain secret society has been neutrailised. As for your performance…" Batman said.
They looked at each other "…It was satisfactory."
"Come on." Robin told Blue. "I'll come with you to Port Addison, we'll do your arms there."
"Are you sure I mean Batman might want you…"
He smiled. "He'll understand. That's what family do."
"Thank you, Robin."

Uninterested for a while but I'm back (for now)
I have changed the title of this story. What used to be Honour Bond is now Blue Blood because I think it suited it more.
