Wally walked into the Cave to "Surprise!"
"What? Aw you guys you shouldn't have!" He said grinning.
"Right like you haven't been hinting for days or anything." Robin said.
"Is this what birthday parties are like?" Blue asked Robin.
"Uh yeah…oh my god we never threw one for you!" The Boy Wonder replied the realisation dawning on him.
"And I don't want a late one either." She warned him, birthdays weren't important to her. They just where to people like Wally.
"Okay here's the deal, when it's my birthday we go out for a movie and some food deal? You pick movie, I buy tickets, you buy food? Deal?"
"Deal." She told him and they shook hands.
"Make a wish!" M'gann told Wally, she'd made two cakes…for the speedster and the rest would spilt the cupcakes.
"Way ahead of you!" He said and blew them out.
"Oh boy Wally-Arty drama two clock." Robin whispered as they watched Artemis narrow her eyes at M'gann kissing Wally's forehead.
"Uh huh…hey check it." She nodded toward Zatanna, "Come on I wanna see how she's doing…"
Robin got the magician some cake and they approached her. "You settling in okay?" He asked her.
"Oh yeah, just like home." She said dryly.
"I know this is all very new and intimidating but some day I promise you…" Robin said as Wally shovels more cake into his mouth, "You'll get used to watching Wally eat."
"Think we should tell him?" Artemis asked coming up to the three and they saw Wally flirt with M'gann way to freely.
"Please, if I ever flirt with anyone that badly, hit me." Blue said covering her eyes.
"You won't be flirting with anyone until your thirty." Robin told her.
"Ugh….over-protective Boy Wonder." The manipulator shook her head.
"Back to the question at hand, you two can continue your 'when is Blue allowed to date and/or flirt' talk later. Do we tell Wally?" Artemis asked.
"He is the only one who doesn't know…." Robin said.
"Then please allow me." The blond told them walking toward Wally.
She knelt down next to him and whispered in his ear.
"Huh!" He yelped then watched M'gann feed Conner some cake. "Oh…man!" His shoulders slumped.
"Poor boy…" Blue said shaking her head.
"Attention Team!" Batman's voice was heard over the intercom, "Suit up. Polar stealth, mission briefing in five."
"Where's Flash?" Kid asked a few minutes later when they were all suited up.
Blue's crop top was not a full shirt with long sleeves and the waist length spandex jacket was long too and zipped up tight.
Her stockings now disappeared into her shorts to keep out the cold as they were specially designed, her hood was up and she now had a scarf like thing which covered her mouth and nose.
"Flash and Green Arrow already have their assignments. A massive ice storm has paralyzed North America from coast to coast. Satellite imagery has detected five flying ice fortresses source unknown which seem to be responsible and must be stopped." Batman told them onscreen.
"Can't the Watchtower just blow them out of the sky or something?" Kid asked.
"What's a….Watchtower?" Zatanna asked and they wouldn't meet her eyes.
Batman sighed heavily, go Wally, "The League's orbiting headquarters is NOT weaponised! And with both Green Lanterns and Bleu Illusion off world I need all hands on deck."
"Does that mean what I think it means?" Blue asked.
"The League and the Team fighting side by side?" Robin said.
"Whoa! Really?" Kid grinned.
"Superboy, use the Super-cycle to rondevu with the Bat Plane at Ice Fortress One, you'll drop off Robin, Aqualad and Bleubell then continue on with Wolf to meet up with Black Canary and Red Tornado at Ice Fortress Two, Miss Martian, Artemis and Zatanna take the Bioship and rondevu with Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter at Ice Fortress Three. Other leaders will deal with Ice Fortress Four and Five." Batman told them. "Sending co-ordinates now."
"Wonderful." Robin grinned and he and Blue fist pounded. They were becoming quite the duo.
Do not, play video games with these two.

Wally learned the hard way.
"Ah wait! Batman I think you skipped…"
"Kid Flash, a young girl in Seattle is in desperate need of a heart transplant, with all other forms of air traffic grounded by the storm you'll need to pick up the heart in Boston and run it three thousand miles across the country."
'Oh you have…' "Who is this girl?" Wally asked loudly.
"Does it matter?"
"No, no, of course not but can't we zeta…."
"Zeta tubes are off line. Sorry." Blue and Robin said in unison.
"Thank you."
"Anytime." They replied.
"Right so….how could I say no? Guess I won't be needing stealth." He hit the lightning bolt on his chest and his suit changed back to its normal yellow and red. "Speedy delivery boy at your service."
He sighed but got ready anyway….
Kid Flash looked to his left; Conner was driving the Super-cycle through the storm with Wolf behind him, Robin in the seat in front of him and Aqualad and Blue on either sides of him.
God did he want to be on that cycle….
-SUPERCYCLE-
"Drop point coming up on your right, in three two one…"
"See ya!" Blue nodded and the three jumped off the Super-cycle.
An air hatch opened in the Bat Plane and the three dropped in releasing their lines that had connected them to the Super-cycle for an easier jump.
"Don't take any unnecessary risks, work quickly and get this done." Batman told them.
"Of course."
The Bat plane dropped them down and they landed on the fortress which apparently also had a weapon system.
Yay.
"Bleubell, Robin destroy those two guns." Batman ordered.
They nodded and out came the explosives, Robin threw them and Blue made sure they landed in the correct spot.
Boom, two down.
"Robin, up top!" Bleubell shouted as they ducked two sniper guns above their heads toward the top of the Fortress.
He nodded and shot a line he grabbed Blue's hand and they went sailing up onto the high platform.
"Okay, there's actually four." She told him.
They were about to shoot when Blue would force the aim skyward.
Robin threw two explosives into the circuit. "It's gonna blow!" He shouted as they jumped off the platform just as it exploded.
"Where's Batman?" Robin asked Aqualad.
"He's ridging up the final explosive…." He didn't get to finish his sentence, Batman burst out of the Fortress main frame with Aquaman and Flash soon joining his side.
"We have to go." The Dark Knight said. "Now."
They didn't need telling twice, the bomb was on a timer and they jumped off the edge as it exploded landing into the Bat Plane which was on auto pilot.
It quickly turned on the turbo jets and got out of range of the debris and explosions.
"Mission accomplished." Batman told them all.
"Well done. All of you." Aquaman told them.
"Thank you my king." Kaldur bowed.
Robin just grinned a bit to himself.
"Bleu Illusion would be really proud of you today Bleubell." Flash promised and this brought a grin to the girl's face.
-LATER, MOUNT JUSTICE-
The Team gathered together many congratulating Wally on his mission, saving the Queen of Vlatava and making sure she got her heart transplant, as well as how Count Vertigo was now in Belle Reve.
The computer had announced the zeta tubes being online again ten minutes prior but now it had a new announcement.
"Recognised, Bleu Illusion B09."
Everyone turned as the returning hero walked into the Cave.
"Hello Blue,"
A wide and bright smile came to her face as she ran toward her mentor, the true father figure in her life.
He caught the girl and hugged her.
She spoke rapidly in Spanish to him, saying they had so much to talk about and asking questions like had she been to see his wife yet? When did he get home how did the mission go? Why was it extended?
He calmed her and laughed. "First," He told her in English. "I want to meet your Team, properly this time."
She nodded and pulled him by the hand. "Come on then! I want to introduce you to everyone!"
He smiled and let her pull him, Bleubell had changed definitely, he'd been worried about the half-Santa Priscan wildcard joining a team but it seemed she'd flourished…
She'd grown up.
She'd made a family.
