A/N: This story idea popped in my head and wouldn't leave. Should be about ten chapters, and is complete besides some editing. This story is a bit AU because I aged them up and don't have everything following exactly what's in the show. Reviews are appreciated! Check me out on AO3 if you prefer that site! Ladynoir_Fan is my user over there.

Marinette stared in shock at the little white test in her hands, two pink lines reflecting back at her.

She was pregnant.

No, this couldn't be happening.

This shouldn't be happening. She whirled around the bathroom, desperate to find Tikki. Her miraculous ladybugs should have reversed all the consequences. Thoughts of the akumatized villain that had shown up a couple months back broke through the floodgate she had kept up in fierce determination to forget. A villain that, in her heartbreak over unrequited love, had been given the power to heighten arousal. The effects had created quite a bit of distraction throughout the city, causing people to enthusiastically begin showing affection to whoever was nearest to them. A lot of affection. According to the Ladyblog, citizens had begun tearing the clothes off of each other in the middle of the streets. It had created quite an embarrassing situation for the people of Paris, especially because it had gone on for quite a long time before Ladybug had managed to defeat the villain and cast her cure. The reason for the delay being that, thankfully unknown to most of Paris, Ladybug herself had gotten caught up by the unfortunate magic.

"Tikki, what's going on? Tikki!" Marinette stumbled back out of her apartment's small bathroom, frantically looking for her little red Kwami. Tikki flew up to her, anxiously twitting back and forth as Marinette held up the positive test.

"Oh Marinette, I'm so sorry!"

"How? This shouldn't be possible; wouldn't the miraculous ladybugs' cure have fixed this?" Marinette carefully reached over to cup her little friend in her hands.

"Oh Marinette…" the Kwami's wide little eyes frantic. "You were transformed at the time, imbued with the power of creation. And this is the ultimate act of creation. My holders have always had an easy time with this act being successful. The ladybugs fix all the consequences of the akumatized villain's actions, but this…it may have worked on everyone else, but for you, my holder…" she trailed off.

Marinette shook her head, eyes glazed over. "No…nonono this can't be happening."

Tikki placed her little hand on Marinette's cheek. "You need to tell him."

Marinette froze, the words echoing in her head.

She had to tell him.

The father.

It was Adrien Agreste.

On that fateful day, the villain named Love Bomb (seriously, Shadow Moth was absolutely terrible at naming his villains) began her rampage from within the Gabriel Agreste main office building. Marinette, in the office already as an intern working for the Agreste brand, heard the tell-tale signs of a nearby akumatization in the form of crashing and screams, followed by muffled quiet.

Marinette glanced around quickly, looking for one of her many spots she had discovered over the past year that made for easily-concealed transformation spots. She spotted a closet in the hall, and slipped in quietly, letting Tikki out of her handbag.

"You know," Tikki's voice floated to her in the dark closet, "this is the third time in a month an akumatized villain has originated from this building. You'd think the owner might try and foster a less hostile workplace."

"Don't even get me started, Tikki." Marinette was not at all fond of Gabriel Agreste. She was grateful of course for the internship, earned in part thanks to his recognition of her from winning the fashion talent show in her younger school days. But she never and quite forgiven him for his strict parenting and harsh treatment of Adrien. "Tikki, spots on!"

In a flash of pink Marinette was Ladybug; she slipped back out into the hall, heading down the stairs towards the sounds of the commotion. As soon as she opened the door at the bottom of the stairwell, she collided with someone rushing through the door. Marinette stumbled back, and a hand darted to her shoulder, steadying her. She looked up and felt her throat catch. Adrien Agreste stood in front of her, expression a little frazzled as he looked down at her with his green eyes.

"Ladybug." Marinette tried to calm her heartbeat, which had decided to kick into overdrive. Though she had mostly gotten past stumbling over her words around Adrien over the years as they had become better friends, she still hadn't gotten over feeling butterflies at unexpected encounters. Which, to her disappointment, didn't happen very often; she hadn't actually seen him much in the past year since they had graduated from Lycées, outside of monthly hangouts with Alya and Nino, despite working in the same building.

Thus, it took a handful of seconds for her brain to process that Adrien had, in fact, rushed through the door as if he was running from something. A fact that apparently Adrien had forgotten himself, as they both stood staring dumbly at each other for those precious few seconds.

Seconds were all it took for Love Bomb to show up somewhere in the room behind Adrien and shoot her weapon at his back. Adrien's eyes widened and Ladybug tried to leap back out of the way, but she had been too close; the puff of reddened air hit Adrien and passed around him, catching Ladybug in its wake.

Ladybug gasped as everything faded in a haze of heat shooting through her body.

Marinette found herself opening her eyes blearily in a dark room. Her mind struggled to reset itself as she slowly sat up, trying to understand where she was. Her memories started to filter in and she gasped, wrenching herself up to her feet. The akuma! She'd been hit, along with Adrien. In a blind panic, her hands shot up to her ears, and her heart fell when she felt no earrings.

No! Had Shadow Moth captured her and taken her miraculous? Marinette moaned and started groping around, finding herself in a small room. Suddenly, a door opened not far from her. To Marinette's immense relief, Scarabella snuck into the room.

"Tikki, spots off." The flash illuminated the closet, and Marinette saw her best friend, Alya leaning down.

"What happened?" Marinette demanded, grabbing her hand.

"I'll explain after we get out of here. Don't want to be too suspicious."

Together the two of them left the room – a closet, as it turned out. She was still in the Agreste building, a fact that was a relief at the very least. As they walked through the hallways, they saw other employees shakily making their own way through the building.

When Marinette made it back to her cubicle, she pulled her spare chair over, staring at Alya expectantly.

Alya sighed and dropped into the chair. "Marinette…what do you remember?"

Marinette tried to pull back her memories. "I was transformed, and ran into Adrien. Then we got hit by the villain's power, and then…" She trailed off as she tried to make her brain work. She remembered heat filling her, and then…nothing.

No, wait….

She had only vague recollections after that, but mostly, it was just Adrien and herself. Together. A kiss here. A moan there. But that was all that came back.

Fuck.

Marinette moaned and dropped her head into her hands. "I don't remember anything specific. What happened?"

Alya hesitated for a second, before she replied. "I knew something was wrong when neither you nor Chat Noir showed up to fight the akuma. Her effects had spread pretty far by that time. Funnily enough, Plagg finally found me and brought me to you. When I got to you… did you know that this one caused like, extreme arousal? People we going at it everywhere. When I got here, you and Adrien, uhm…" She trailed off with a cringe, and Marinette wanted to just find the nearest hole and crawl into it. "Anyway, I pulled you away, locked you in that closet and borrowed the earrings. And now we're here. Are you…are you okay?"

Marinette didn't move her head. "God, Alya, I can't believe my first time was with Adrien, and I don't even remember it." Thankfully, she didn't feel any pain or other effects from it thanks to the cure, so maybe she would just pretend it never happened. She could only hope Adrien didn't remember.

She was suddenly extremely grateful that she had been Ladybug at the time, and also that Alya had pulled her away before detransforming her.

Alya laughed, though it sounded strained. "Yeah, Shadow Moth is such a bitch. What a terrible thing to do. All because the girl got turned down by Adrien, too."

Slowly Marinette pulled her head up. "I ran into him in the stairwell and let myself get distracted. I didn't react fast enough. Thank God you came in. Alya, you're a lifesaver." She glanced at her friend, who smiled back. "Don't mind me as I just pretend this never happened, m'kay?"

"You got it girl."
