GREETINGS. I'm back for you, my children. I really should write more. I used to write everyday, way back when. SHOCKER, right?
I know. O.O
I don't own Kuroshitsuji. But, it sure is a majestic anime, no?
F*CK YEAH, IT IS!
I know this chapter isn't super long, sorry. But APPRECIATE IT, YOU UNGRATEFUL PIG CHILDREN! JKJKJKJK. I love you.
~~CIEL'S P.O.V.~~
I got no sleep whatsoever. What comes next had me anxiously waiting to kick the girls out, without question. The reason being…
They would most likely be the reason for my most eminent death.
How the hell do they think I can fight off four psychotic murderers? They'll probably kill me. And I don't think there's a way to persuade them out of attempting to end my very existence. They may have good intentions, but Saki doesn't even look like she can be trusted to take care of a gold fish. How is she supposed to hold back on chopping me into little pieces and playing with them like a little kid? I'll have to trust Sebastian with protecting me. Unless he's distracted with some random cat that he hides somewhere.
I rolled over in my bed and shoved a pillow onto my head to block out the world. Maybe I can tell them I'm sick or something. Then they might let me off the hook. But, I can't do that. I'm Ciel Phantomhive. I should be able to stand up to a few girls. This is probably going to be embarrassing. Or downright horrific for me, and most enjoyable for them.
A knock sounded at the door, accompanied by my butlers calm voice, "Young master, the guests request your presence. I suggest you hurry." I groaned and pulled the pillows and blankets off of me.
"I'll be right out. Make sure they don't break anything while they wait." I kicked my feet of the bed and pushed myself up to embrace the morning. First, I got ready and hesitantly greeted them in the dining room. This is going to be terrifying.
Saki happily led us outside and handed me the dagger that was chosen for me.
"I'm thinking we should all take turns facing off with you." Saki suggested while stepping back and looking to her allies for confirmation.
"Sounds fine with me, but don't go too hard on him!" Asami whined in fear and a hint of jealousy. Maybe because she doesn't get to try to kill me all by herself, but instead, she has to share the blood.
Minami smiled, "Saki should probably go first. Its best that she gets her anger out soon, so nothing sets her off later. It may just save your life." I smiled back, trying to hide my absolute terror.
"Come on, dearie~." Saki grabbed me by the back of the shirt and yanked me into position and stepped back. Ow.
"You know, I'm kind of scared to fight you, Ciel." She smirked with pointy teeth back at me.
"And why is that?" I asked, naturally expecting something offensive as a response.
"Because, you're so fragile! Like a porcelain doll. I'm afraid if I touch you; you'll break," My face heated up. She started pacing back and forth, while finally taking out her chained twin daggers, "But don't let that worry you. I'm not going to hold back. If I do, you won't learn. And I'm all about education~." She continued to laugh. I tightened the grip on my knife and stepped back.
Her eyes became cold and deadly. A glare that could kill. I stepped back again, but held my knife up, defensively. She stepped towards me and I stepped back. My menacing opponent looked at me with a sad face.
"Don't step back," She pouted, "It just makes your adversary more intimidating than you think! Then they have an advantage." She jumped at me. The blade went right past my neck, barely missing my skin. She took a deep breath in and straightened her form, putting her blades away. Her eyes moved back to me.
"You'll need more practice before you face me. I need more of a challenge." She scoffed.
"Don't talk to me that way!" My face was turning crimson. It's not my fault she looks like someone out of a nightmare.
Minami pushed Asami forwards with her usual smile, "Ignore her. This one will behave herself more… If not I wish you the best of luck."
The other girl jumped forwards. It was obvious how much she was holding back attacking me. And I don't mean attack as in trying to stab me to death. I held the knife up steadily. I'm going to try to hold my ground this time.
"I'm going to get this over quickly and painlessly! Forgive me, darling Ciel!" Asami sobbed. She lunged herself at me with tears endlessly streaming out of her shiny eyes. I quickly dodged and backed up. She looked stunned. She turned back to me and kept crying.
Asami was pulled out by Minami, because she wouldn't stop sobbing. Next was Mitsuki's turn. Saki happily obliged in activating the cat-girls weapon.
The furious feline was now ready to pounce and latched herself onto my back with her claws. I tried to get her off, but it was painful to move. She tore up the back of my jacket, and my skin with it. After we got her off, she kept hissing at me and, for some reason, not Saki; the one who actually angered you.
Next was Minami, who was a good enemy. She followed the rules, and didn't actually kill me with an arrow through the skull.
We kept at it until we were too tired. My most challenging opponents were Mitsuki and Saki. Saki, because of her violence and unwilling to hold back. And Mitsuki, because the only way to activate her weapon was to aggravate her… That didn't make her an easy foe. But, thankfully, I got out with my life. I actually did alright, and I think I'll be fine if an angel comes out of nowhere and tries to kill me. But, the chance of that happening is more humorous than anything.
We left after practice and came back inside. I slammed the manor door shut and left them to destroy whatever they pleased, as long as they left me alone. There is a lot to do today. I've already lost time.
I locked myself in Alois's office and looked over every tome in his collection. From history to religion and faith, I closely examined them all. I grabbed a few books on different focuses I think will prove beneficial. I know I'll need information on angels, and if there is any, it wouldn't hurt to know more. I did, in fact, have an encounter before, but I don't know if there is anything the creature didn't do, that it could've. It will prove to be quite a nuisance to deal with more issues than expected. I took a seat at the desk and got reading.
I got through four entire books. Nothing significant stood out. It shouldn't be incredibly difficult to retrieve that brat, but for some reason… Something doesn't feel right about this.
The first time I saw the angel, it didn't have a very kind glow about it. More evil than anything. Not normal for an angel to be evil, is it? Not exactly. Yet, it felt dark. Like, it would pull you in and keep you there, in the darkness, forever. Making your soul die away alone. Creepiness surrounds this situation that I can't really explain.
I pushed my books aside and rested my head on the desk. The sun had begun to set. Orange rays shine through the glass window into the room. My eyelids grew heavy. I should go lay down… I pushed my chair out and began walking to my room. This whole process is taking a long time. I just want him back with me. It's painful to have a friend taken from you. Especially when it's basically your fault in the first place.
I finally got to my room and lied down in the sheets. My eyes closed, but I couldn't sleep. There's too much on my mind. It just keeps piling up.
A tap sounded at my window. I ignore it. It's probably a bird or something.
Another tap. Go away, you pest.
Another god damned tap.
I got out of bed, angrily, and headed for the window. I went to pull the curtains open, but hesitated. I slowly slid them open and looked out the shiny moonlit glass. Nothing there. I sighed and turned around. I was interrupted by another returning tap. I looked back as quickly as possible to catch whatever cause it-.
What the hell.
In the shadowy window is a familiar face.
How?
I go up closer to the window and squint at the figure.
This is a joke. Right?
I open the window and lend him a hand, with my jaw completely dropped. He smiled dumbly, but had a weird look. He maintained his usual blonde hair and purple tailored clothing, but something was off.
"Hello, sweetheart~." He said in a sing-song tone, stepping onto the window sill.
I pulled him a step further in, "What the hell." Is all I can spit out.
"Long time, no see, honey. I have news~!" He kept smiling.
"You have some serious talking to do, Trancy." I have a sudden urge to push him back out the window... So this must be the real Alois.
