Blue and Robin were playing video games when Batman would summon them for a debriefing.
However, Aqualad, Artemis and Zatanna were missing
"This is Rumaan Harjavti, democratically elected president of Qurac; he's been praised as a fair wise leader…"
"Sure…and a friend of Bruce Wayne's…" Wally mumbled to Bleubell and Robin.
"But five days ago he allied himself with the dictator of neighbouring nation Bialya, Queen Bee." Batman told them as her picture came up on screen.
"Not a fan." Superboy commented.
"Vindictive B." Blue said arms folded,
It was obvious the two meanings to THAT statement.
"Few are, but Harjavti suddenly backed up Queen Bee's defenceless claim that Bialya and Qurac were once one nation in ancient times. And announced that the countries will re-unify in two days at a ceremony in Qurac."
He showed them a news report of the president stating that after they united the two nations that he will step down and allow the 'real monarch' to rule,
Batman then showed them another report this time of Queen Bee saying she'll 'gladly come to Qurac and be crowned as soul leader of our nation.'
"And the Quraci's are okay with this?" Kid Flash asked.
"Hardly, they're well aware of the brutality Bee has issued under her regime but Harjavti has silenced all legitimate protest and invited the Bialyan military in to control martial law."
"Queen Bee has to be controlling Harjavti." Robin said.
"Doesn't she have the power to 'enthral' most men?" Blue asked using hand quotes at the word enthral.
"And some woman." Batman replied.
"Jeez…" Blue grimaced.
"Though not long distance and we have information she hasn't left Bialya something else is at work here. Find out what." He ordered. "Robin you're team leader."
"Promotion!" Kid Flash grinned at his best friend. "Sweet!" He went up for a high-five.
"Me!" He yelped. "But what about Aqualad?"
"Busy with Aquaman. You're the next logical choice."
"Great." He sighed.
"Dude! You totally let me hanging!" Kid Flash complained.
Qurac,
November 22, 23:54.
"We're right above the Quraci, Bialyan border." Robin said.
"A border the Bialyans are in a process of ignoring." Kid Flash stated as tanks and soldiers crossed over the border from Bialya into Qurac beneath them.
"The Bialyan military that Harjavti invited in are firing real bullets at the protestors and anyone in their path, the hospitals are too under-staffed to treat all injuries….and the death toll is rising." Blue told them reading the info the Bio-Ship computer gave her.
"No opposition here." Superboy stated, "Guess Harjavti really is in bed with Bee."
"I wouldn't expect any opposition here, it's an animal sanctuary." Robin said from her holograph computer on his watch.
"The Logan Animal Sanctuary?" M'gann asked.
"You've heard of it?"
"Guys…the tanks have created a stampede there's civilians in the way." Kid Flash said.
"I see them, a woman and a small boy." Superboy agreed.
"We have to help them!" M'gann insisted.
"We're way off mission here…" Robin said but sighed. "Deploy but stealth mode, is the Bialyans know we're hidden here this becomes an international crisis."
They nodded and deployed.
Bleubell destroyed two tanks by causing their cannons to shoot at each other while Conner saved the woman and child.
"Are you both alright?" Robin asked when the fight was over as he and Blue landed behind the two, Kid Flash speeding to a stop beside them.
"Oh my…Mom! Mom! Mom! We were just saved by Robin, kid Flash! And Bleubell!" The boy gushed loudly.
"Er Superboy and Miss Martian helped too." Wally grinned as M'gann lowered the Oryx that had leapt up in fright during the stampede and had almost been trampled before M'gann lifted it to safety to the ground and uncloaked herself after prodding from Kid.
"Er hi?"
"We've diverted the Bialyans around the sanctuary, you should be safe now."
"You may have made things worse." The woman replied. "The Bialyan crossings are a way of life here, usually they just wreck a few fences and move on, now you may have made us a target!" She snapped.
"Mom…" The boy began. "Uncool."
"I'm sorry…" She sighed. "I guess I should be thanking you, this is my son Garfield and I'm…"
"Marie Logan! I can't believe I'm actually meeting you!" M'gann gushed.
"This Oryx is sick." She said instead checking it before walking over to the animal Superboy had engaged to stop the stampede.
"And I think you've injured this Wildebeest."
"I'm sorry?" Conner offered.
"I guess it was unavoidable…" She sighed again. "But they both need to go to our clinic."
"The boys and Bleubell can do that! You and I can uh….fix your fences!" Miss Martian said grinning.
"That's not exactly…" The Boy Wonder began.
"Please mom!" Garfield said the exact time M'gann said…
"Robin!"
"Uh fine…"
"Yes!"
Dawn was breaking when they'd walk up to a large house, they being the three boys, Bleubell and Garfield.
A monkey would fall from a tree onto Superboy, then jumped to Kid Flash and took his candy bar before leaping onto Garfield's shoulder.
"This is Monkey!" He told them.
"Good name," Conner said. "But I hate monkeys."
The monkey then threw the candy bar at Superboy.
"Looks like monkeys hate Superboy's." Robin said.
"Guys be glad he only threw a bar." Bleubell told them as they went inside.
They flopped down in the living room Blue taking a seat on the couch.
"So pretty weird about Miss M and my mom huh?" Garfield said.
"Er what do you mean?"
"You know she looks exactly like her! Just…greener."
"She does?"
"Duh especially when Mom was a TV star back on 'Hello Megan'."
"Hello Megan is a TV show?" Kid Flash frowned.
"I just thought it was something she said all the time…." Robin agreed.
"Yeah, on the TV show, way before our time only ran one season." Garfield said. "You can't even find it online…I know mom has a tape somewhere."
He found it. "Hello Megan the pilot episode." He said showing the video tape and putting it into the player.
"Whoa you still have VHS...what no wifi?" Kid Flash asked.
"Wait!" Conner said freezing. "Air craft headed this way."
They were all up and out of the house in thirty seconds.
"Gar, stay put." Robin ordered as they ran outside.
"What's wrong?" Marie asked walking towards them.
"Get down!" Blue shouted as the aircrafts began to fire at them.
"Where's my son?" Marie demanded from Superboy.
"We ordered him to stay put." Robin said.
"He's eight he doesn't do orders!" She snapped and right on que Garfield opened the door to the barn and shouted
"Don't worry mom I got the animals out."
The aircrafts shot again, a bullet hitting the oil tank making it and the barn blow.
The boy went flying back and M'gann rushed to save him, she floated down and handed him to his mom.
"I told you they'll be consequences." She snapped to Robin as the aircrafts doubled back.
"Always." Robin said.
"Trust us." Blue said, "We know more then anyone, let's just get him inside."
His mother checked him over. "He's in shock is any of you O negative?" Marie asked Robin and Bleubell as Kid Flash appeared at the door.
"No," Robin replied.
"Not me." Kid Flash sighed.
Bleubell flinched, "No."
"Me neither," Marie said. "He's the hardest one to match."
"I can run him to the nearest hospital…"
"The nearest hospital with a guaranteed blood supply is half an hour at your top speed." Robin said checking his holograph computer. "Even longer by Bio-Ship."
"He doesn't have that much time. What's Superboy's blood type?"
"He's Kryptonian and Miss Martian…"
"Might be able to help." The girl said appearing at the door with Conner.
"My shape shifting occurs at the cellular level, I think I might be able to morph my blood to match his."
"Please!" Marie begged. "Try!"
"I'll need to concentrate, no distractions."
Marie nodded. "Out all of you! Out!" She ordered slamming the door in their faces.
"Is everyone okay?" Robin asked.
"I'm so tired…" Blue groaned. "But I can keep going….because on top of all this Harjavti steps down tomorrow and the whole of Qurac will be subject to this danger." The manipulator said the rings under her eyes evident.
"Have a lie down." Robin said. "You're manipulation ability is vital to the information part of this mission."
"Robin…"
"That's an order."
She stretched out on the couch closing her eyes as Robin ordered Kid Flash to find a news station; instead he turned on 'Hello Megan' the tape from before.
"Oh my god…"
Blue opened her eyes again and peered up over the arm rest of the couch.
"Oh sweet…" She was suddenly awake.
"Maybe it's a coincidence?" Conner asked.
Yeah, it couldn't be. Because 'Megan's' boyfriend was called Conner.
"Oh yeah. Real coincidence." Kid muttered.
"It's done." M'gann said entering the room as the boys scrambled to change the channel and turned it onto the news. "All we can do now is wait. Hey is that Harjavti?"
They looked at the TV where the president was talking about Queen Bee being a gift…
Three words which must never be in the same sentence.
"Hey, that guy in back!" Conner said. "I know him!"
"It's Psimon, the psychic we fought the last time we were in Bialya; he was working for Bee then…and he must he controlling Harjavti for her now."
"I still remember the headache from the last time he brain blasted us." Kid sighed.
"We have to get him away from Harjavti."
"I think it worked." Marie said coming out of the bedroom. "Garfield's stable."
"Good, because we have our mission,"

They broke into the president's office where he was sitting alone.
"Where's my daughter?" He asked Robin touching his head like it hurt. "Where's Psimon?"
"Forget him; let's get you out of here…"
The doors burst open and in came Bialyan soldiers, "Well, well." Their general said, "American heroes…here to assassinate the president. To bad we were too late to stop them." He said a sly grin forming on his face.
"Those are Apokoliptan weapons." Superboy said via their link.
"Which they'll use to kill Harjavti, we get blamed and Queen Bee gets to rule Qurac."
"I found Psimon!" Miss Martian said before the cloaked Martian took off down the hall.
"Wai-"
"I'll get her!" Superboy volunteered.
"No, the mission is Harjavti!" Robin said. "We have to protect him."
"Boys, let's take 'em down." Blue said and they attacked.
Honestly, it was too easy, despite their weaponry the soldiers went down quickly and efficiently.
The daughter of the president ran in a few minutes after the coast was clear.
"Thank you for saving my father." She said, "I'll take care of him now." She told them and they nodded before going to find Miss Martian.
"M'gann!" Superboy called out for her telepathically "We're coming-"
A metal blast though, ended all that.
All four were down instantly.
-LATER-
Miss Martian woke the boys up first and Robin instantly went to work on Blue.
"Come on, you can sleep later."
She groaned but slowly sat up.
"There's the headache…" Kid groaned.
"You're telling me." Bleubell muttered.
"Psimon?" Robin asked.
"He brain-blasted you, I stopped him."
The villain was now in a mentally induced coma.
"So what now?" Kid asked.
-THE NEXT MORNING-
'Queen Bee' arrived with press the next morning.
But military denied her entry. "What do you mean he won't see me? He invited me!" She barked.
"Not of my free will no!" The president shouted from a balcony above her. "But now that I am free I will tell you this now! The Quraci people will never suffer you're tyrannical rule!"
The people of Qurac in attendance all shouted and cheered in joy.
"Mark me Harjavti, you will suffer for this! Qurac will be mine!"
"Oh this is TV gold." Bleubell grinned to Robin as they watched the news broadcast.
'Queen Bee' opened the door and stepped in morphing back into M'gann as she did.
"Sorry you had to lie to everyone like that, but I couldn't think of any other way to convince the public that Bee was behind this."
"Dude! Saving a country, pretty big win for your first mission as leader!" Kid Flash told him grinning.
"Yeah, thanks."
-THE LOGAN SANCTUARY-
The news was on again and Bruce Wayne was there, in Qurac promising Harjavti that the Wayne Foundation would do whatever it could to aid with the rebuilding with Qurac.
"Sure Bruce Wayne got here fast almost like he knew…" Kid Flash began and Robin hit him.
"Don't you have a souvenir to collect or something?"
"Hello Megan!" He grinned holding up the tape.
M'gann sighed as Wally waved it in her face.
"Something you'd like to tell us?"
She sighed again. "Growing up on Mars was hard for me so I started watching the broadcasts my Uncle sent from Earth to teach us about our sister plant and when I saw Hello Megan something just…clicked. Maybe it was the similarities in our names; maybe it was the way all Megan's problems could be solved in twenty two minutes...all I know is Megan helped me smile through a lonely childhood so, when I came to Earth ad had to adopt a human form, I chose you." She said to Marie, "Well, Megan."
"Which begs the question…?" Robin began. "What do you really look like?"
She stood up and then her hair was gone and her facial features were a lot more like her uncle's.
"Bald M'gann, still hot." Kid Flash said grinning.
Blue rubbed her wrist guard covered arm and thought of all the make-up and special tech used to cover up her own imperfections gained from her childhood, she scratched the back of her left ear.
Conner stood up and walked toward M'gann, "You know you don't have to put on a mask for me." He swore to her.
"I do it for me!" She told him her hair growing back. "This is who I am."
Bleubell looked outside the window.
"….Inside." M'gann continued. "Please don't be mad."
"Mad?" Marie Logan asked. "I'm honoured." She told the Martian. "M'gann you saved my son, he says he's your blood brother now and I agree. You're family."
The two woman hugged. "Thank you." M'gann said. "You can't know what that means to me!"
