~~CIEL'S P.O.V.~~
Alois had been in his room for nearly an hour after I stopped to check on him. The wood grain in my desk became very interesting, very quickly, while I waited for lunch. I waited for him with Asami and Saki in his study. I felt awful that he had only just gotten back and then had to go through more physical and emotional trauma. Funny thing it was just Saki's fault this time.
"But, I don't get it!" Asami droned, "It just doesn't make any sense..!" I looked up from the swirling patterns in the wood to see what looked like Saki explaining something to Asami. They were both sitting on the floor, for god knows what reason. Saki's red eyes glinted in her frustration.
She crossed her arms and glared at her friend, "It makes perfect sense. You're just not paying any attention to the actual facts, Asami! Minami thinks so too."
The girl with electric blue eyes exaggeratedly sighed and shook her head, "I swear, I'm paying attention! But it doesn't add up! It isn't fair to me! Why would they be-!" Saki threw her hand over Asami's mouth at lightning speed and looked at me for a split second. What the hell are they talking about? I gave them a questioning look, but they looked away. Girls are unbelievably exhausting.
"Never mind. Just drop it." Saki rolled her eyes and collapsed back onto the floor, lying down. Asami did the same, but stretched out more.
"CIEL~. I'M BORED. DARLING, DO SOMETHING TO ENTERTAIN YOUR LOVELY GUESTS, PLEASE." Asami whined articulately.
"Why should I? One of my lovely guests nearly killed my friend last night. You should be grateful I'm letting you stay here at all anymore."
Saki growled defensively, "DID NOT. IT WAS THAT BRAT'S FAULT." Sebastian stepped through the cracked open doorway as soon as she finished her sentence. Saki was immediately captivated by his presence, but the electric blue eyed girl paid no mind, still paying full attention to me. My butler stepped forward and bowed slightly, discretely glaring at the girls' improper behavior.
His mouth curled, forming that annoying smirk of his, "Young master, it's time for lunch. I do hope that you didn't snack after breakfast. If you do that you lose your appetite, and we both know that you'll need as much help as you can to remain growing healthily." I felt my face get hot at his unnecessary comment. I'm NOT short.
I calmed myself down and shook my head, "Whatever. I'll be out in a minute." He smiled and stepped out. Asami and Saki both pulled themselves back up and brushed off their clothes.
The next second two familiar blondes opened the door and greeted us. One was standing up with a straight face and the other was on the ground, rubbing her head against Alois's leg.
Alois pointed out the door and in the direction of the dining room, "Care to join us out? I'm hungry." I nodded and left the room right after Saki and Asami. Though Alois was smiling and acting normally, something was off about him. He was too pale and his eyes looked faded. He was depressing to look at.
I put my thoughts aside and kept walking behind the small group. We were greeted by Minami, who was setting the table, and Sebastian, who was carrying lunch out to the dining table. I noticed the triplets and Hannah through the window gardening. It was cloudy out, so the sky looked gloomy. It didn't really correspond with the current flamboyant atmosphere in the dining room.
The sound of something breaking behind me rang in my ears. A loud whine and a scream were coming from somewhere in here. I then noticed Minami standing over Asami, who was on the ground, begging for food. In a quick flash something flew over my head and broke against the wall. I heard laughing and then Alois looking around the room in confusion. Behind him, sitting calmly at the table, was Saki who was occupied in scratching into the oak table with a butter knife. Mitsuki somehow managed to climb onto the table and fall asleep in a matter of minutes.
In all of the chaos, Sebastian was unfazed, still putting plates out and Claude was now cleaning up the broken china. I just sighed and pulled a chair out for myself, as far away from Saki as possible. What? She's using a butter knife to carve the word 'DEATH' into a table! I'm not going to sit next to that.
Alois pulled out a seat next to mine and I saw Minami irritably force Asami into the seat next to him. Minami finished putting the table settings down and took the see between Asami and Saki. Her seat was where Mitsuki had decided to fall asleep on the table. She had to get the help of Claude to remove the she-beast off of the table. It proved to be rather difficult since she latched herself onto the wood with her nails. How can someone's fingernails be that long without breaking over that much force..? These girls worry me.
Sebastian laid out our plates and glasses, and then left into the kitchen with Claude to work on Dessert. I was sincerely worried of what would happen in here while they were away and not making sure everyone stayed in their seats and not killing each other.
Before I could've even started eating, one girl shoved another and somehow Asami ended up pushing Alois out of his chair. This, in turn, resulted in him landing on top of me. The worst part is that his chair came with him and added to the weight that was already collapsed onto me. I wouldn't be surprised if I had broken something.
"Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow." The blonde moved his arm so his hand was on my shoulder, unintentionally pinning me down. I groaned at the sudden pressure and I may have accidently kneed him in the stomach. He winced and hunched himself over in pain as I sighed and did nothing. And I think we were only getting more tangled up into each other's limbs.
Alois grimaced, "You could be a bit gentler, Ciel. This is uncomfortable." I could feel his breath on my cheek and tried to push my head away. That didn't work well since I was flat on the floor. He tried to push the chair off of his back and I tried to help. It wasn't working so well and I was curious as to why nobody was helping us.
"It's not my fault! You're the one on top of me! If you would, so kindly, get off of me." I droned, still incapable of movement. He kept trying to keep his sleeve down and it was getting irritating to watch.
Somehow he moved into a position where the chair was piercing him in the back. The pain from that made him lose the strength holding him up, but before he crushed me again, I managed to push him to my side and the chair landed on me. Luckily, it was now standing up and I wasn't really even touching it.
A bit later than desired, Minami lent me her hand and pulled me out from under the chair. Alois stumbled up into a standing position and I did the same. After a few minutes of glaring disappointedly at Saki, whom I'm assuming caused the chain reaction, I started eating. I did think Alois was being a bit reserved the rest of lunch, though. It didn't take long until we were all done eating both lunch and dessert. Minami stayed back to help Sebastian and Claude clean up, even though they really didn't need any assistance.
We had moved to the Parlor after everything was cleaned up and it was much quieter than earlier. The only noise that was being made was Saki whispering in the corner of the room, while scratching her nail into the wall. She wasn't speaking any existing language I know.
I noticed the sky in the window get darker and soon it was raining. It was merely sprinkling, so it wasn't a problem, but the sound was soothing. The only person I had suspected to be offset by it was Alois, who wasn't fond of storms. But he looked fine. Instead it was Mitsuki.
The she-demon started hissing and growling at the window and it was driving everyone mad. Saki had even stopped cursing in the corned to shut the curtains on the window. In the meantime, Asami had brought up an idea to pass the time.
"Let's play truth or dare!"
Alois had turned his head and looked to Asami, "What's 'truth or dare'?"
Her eyes lit up immediately, "Well, Alois, it's when we all sit in a circle and go around taking turns whether we want to answer a truth or do a dareā¦" She started giggling to herself and carried on, "You have to answer truths honestly, no lying, and you have to follow through with any dares, no matter how awful it may be. Just a fun game."
Just a fun game..? I cringed at the thought of having no way out of a situation that involved any of these girls, Alois excluded.
"Sounds fun! Come on, Ciel. We're playing!" Before I knew it he drug me down onto the floor and a circle was already, loosely, formed. I sat by Alois, after him went Saki, Minami, Mitsuki and Asami on my other side. Mitsuki was lying on her stomach, holding her head up with her hands, and the others were sitting with their legs crossed. I tried to squirm away, but Alois and Asami had my arms pinned down.
Saki looked up from the shadow that floated around her and purred, "Let's get started."
A/N: I think you can take a guess where this is going. Honestly. If you don't know, then you should just not.
