I'm a horrible person and I deserve to be completely burned at a stake, but just in case you don't want to (who knows) here is the 7th chapter of this. Fully beta-ed by me, by the way, so PLEASE just try to be as civil as possible with me and my shitty English. And if anyone of you want to be the beta of this story, I am gonna say that I'm a great girl to talk with, haha.
Disclaimer: the typos are mine, yayyyyy.

"Thank you, God, I am living my dreams and I do what I really enjoy doing. Thank you Jamie, Dad, Mum, because you are really the best family I could ask for. Thank you, girls. Without you this wouldn't be possible. This wouldn't be as good as it is. And finally thank you to all the people who believes in me and my talent." She took a long and deep breath and then she stared at her friends (because her sister was there, but Emily was also a real good friend of her, that was sure) with a smile on her face. "I'm done. Come on!"
Effy clapped a couple of times, excited about what they were going to live that night and Naomi stretched her arms, grabbing her favorite electric guitar.
"Let's do this." Murmured Naomi, starting to feel those nerves and those butterflies in the pit of her stomach that she felt every time she went out on stage.
The O2 Arena. The crowd (forty thousand people) were waiting for them, and they were nervous because it was their biggest concert on the tour.
In a mytical place.
They loved that place. Emily had seen so many 'legendary' bands performing there and it was an incredible sensation. She was so fucking nervous. Naomi grabbed her hand and squeezed it, and Emily returned her a smile and a nod, as if she was telling her that everything was going to be OK.

11th April, 2015. O2 Arena, London.
"GOOOD EVENING, LONDON!" And Effy shouted that, and the people cheered them. It meant that the show was ready to start.
Naomi grabbed her pick and started to play the first chords of their ultimate success. The twins stared at each other while Effy started to sing.
And adrenaline, again.

Effy laughed when she saw Katie jumping with Cook inside the dresser room singing 'Ace Of Spades', by Motörhead. Katie didn't even like that song but Effy used to sing it and the twin remembered the chorus, so when Cook entered in the main dresser with a huge bottle of champagne, singing that, she joined him.
"The fuckin' gig has been ace!" He said, opening the bottle (that seemed like one of those bottles that the F1 drivers drank when they won a race) and drinking it straight. "By the way, where are the blonde and your sister?"
Katie shrugged, without paying attention at all. "I don't know, maybe they are doing some lez-" And Effy stared at her in disbelief and she bitted her lip strongly. Fuck. "A-A... a lesson of guitar. With Karen, yeah." She finished saying with a laught.
He smiled clueless. "Well, LET'S CELEBR-"
"In fact." Said Effy, cutting his sentence. "Tomorrow I have a meeting with our manager at 8 AM so I think I'll pass... Katie, you coming?"
She nodded. "Give me five minutes."
"Aaaaw." He said complaining. "You owe me one, a BIG BIG one."
They laughed and when Cook went outside the room, Effy stared at Katie furrowing her brow. "Are you crazy? Your sister would have kill you if-"
"Fuck's sake Eff. Relax, OK? I haven't said anything at all."
Effy sighed, grabbing her coat. "Can you just be careful about this?" The twin rolled her eyes and Effy sighed again. "Don't do THAT Katie, it doesn't suit you."
"Arsehole." Mumbled the petite girl buttoning her coat.
Effy rolled her eyes. "Come on, let's get out of here."

The next morning, Effy woke up with a huge headache. Katie and her ended having a massive argument at their home and she felt... she felt that something was wrong. The first thing she did when she woke up was to check if Katie was still sleeping and yeah, the little girl was like completely dead, with her body all spreaded on her bed.
Fucking careless, that girl. Effy didn't even sleep thinking in all the things the twin had said and... fuck, it didn't feel right.
She didn't like to argue, and specially, she didn't like to argue with 'her' Katie. They were good friends and they get along so well, and yeah, it was true that they were so different and that they used to disagree a lot, but they never had had an argument as huge as the one they had that last night.
When Effy entered in her car and started to drive her way to the studio, she sighed. She couldn't even listen music because of the headache she was having and she wasn't in the mood of really anything. Plus, that meeting (in an insane early our) was starting to piss her off, and it didn't even begin!
She entered in the building and she didn't say hello to the recepcionist, because she wasn't in the mood to do that. She arrived to the manager's office, knocking on Foster's door. She heard the 'come in', so she opened the door and...
WHAT. THE. HELL.
[...]
"That argument is really affecting you, huh? You look like shit." Said Naomi, grabbing an apple.
Katie scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I was trying to have a talk with MY sister, so you can fuck-"
Emily sighed. "Katie, stop it. The fire doesn't need more fuel, okay?"
"And." Naomi added staring at the twins. "This is my house, so-"
"Naomi." Said Emily, looking straight to her and frowning.
The blonde understood it (because she was discovering a lot of things about Emily, and she knew that Emily wasn't a serious person, maybe because of her warm nature but she also knew when 'her' petite redhead was being serious) so she stood up and left the kitchen, complaining a bit. "You'll pay for this."
"Later, hun..." And Katie rolled her eyes again because she wasn't used to that. Those affectional words and that sudden love... and it wasn't as she knew that Emily liked Naomi since so much time ago, because hell, her fucking sister knew how to keep a secret, even if it was as huge as that one, but anyway she was still adjusting herself at that weird and crazy situation. "And now, what the hell happened?" Katie stared at her sister, bitting her lip. "Kats..."
"She's so fucking annoying, Em! She has now that annoying rockstar attitude... I don't know." Recognized Katie, shrugging. "I don't like it, OK? She's not... Effy is not like this."
Emily rubbed her back. "You know that she isn't like that, Katie... we aren't like that."
"B-But... she doesn't give a fuck about anything, anymore. She... she used to care, you know her." Replied the eldest twin, and Emily lighted a fag, offering her sister one. Katie just smoked when she was so stressed, and it was one of that moments so she grabbed the little cilinder and lit it. "Now, every thing is fake. Selling our images, doing that silly things... hell, we even did a fucking scripted interview the other day. Scripted, Emily."
"I know, I was there, too." Emily said and rubbed her back with her hand, warmly.
Katie stared at her, with a concerned face. "I don't want to lose her. I... I don't want to lose you all, Ems. I don't even want to lose your fucking blonde, fuck's sake!"
"I am hearing you!" Naomi screamed from the couch of their living room.
Katie shook her head, sighing. "How the fuck do you stand her?"
"I'm an awesome shag!" Replied the blonde.
Emily laughed out loud. "NAOMI, SHUT UP. And you... yeah, Effy... she has always been different, but, look, if you need to talk with her about it, just... you are like best friends, Katie. Sometimes you tell her more than you tell me." Katie stared at her, bitting her lip. "I'm not complaining anything, here, it's just..."
"I was nervous and... we yelled at each other a little bit."
Emily opened her arms. "Come here, come on." And the older twin hugged her, burying her face on Emily's shoulder. The redhead kissed her forehead. "Who's the older twin, now?"
"Fuck off." Murmured Katie, laughing.
Naomi entered in the kitchen, then, to throw to the dustbin the remains of the apple. "Are we a happy family again?"
Katie scoffed. "Annoying cow." And Naomi laughed, putting her hand on her friend's shoulder.
"Seriously... are you OK?" Asked the blonde, and Emily smiled, so proud of her 'girl'. It was true that Katie seemed the youngest of them, because she had those little things and insecurities, but they loved each other so much. Katie nodded, smiling. "Good. Do you want to stay over? Emily is going to make some spaghetti."
"Sure." Said Katie, putting the cigarrette on the ashtray and standing up. "Uh, this fucking tension has made me want to pee." She just said, leaving the kitchen between the laught of the other two girls.
Katie Fitch was like that. A brave girl in front of the cameras and a quiet and insecure young in her intimacy.
Cute, funny and unpredictable.
When Katie was nowhere to be seen, Naomi hugged Emily by the waist, kissing her shoulder. "You've been amazing." Said the little redhead.
"I am amazing." Replied the blonde, smirking, and Emily slapped her arm playfully. "Oi! What a violent we have here."
"Like if you are going to complain." Muttered Emily, and the both of them started to laugh.
Katie heard it all, with a smile on her face.
Yeah, what a family they were...

Effy took a long breath, trying to relax her tense body. John Foster intertwined his hands on the top of his desk.
Well, that was impressive. Not everybody has the opportunity to meet Robbie Williams (and he wanted to work with her, that was...)
"So... what do you think about it?"
How the fuck could she say 'no', to that? She bitted her lip, nervous... if she said yes, she would be the main star of his new videoclip and they would record a new version, with Effy's voice in the chorus. It was huge, a huge opportunity, and she wanted to talk with the girls about it.
"I don't have to call him until the next Tuesday, but... I know what are you thinking." He said, with a smirk on his face. "Yeah, I do."
Effy raised an eyebrow. "What am I thinking, then?"
"About telling them. Naomi, Emily and... Kathryn?"
"Katie." She corrected him and he smiled again.
He stood up, he grabbed a glass and filled it with some Scotch liquor of his cabinet. "You are a single person, Elizabeth. This is a huge opportunity for you, they don't have any-"
"They're my friends and they work with me." Said Effy, deffending them. She didn't like the tone of Foster's voice.
He nodded. "And that is lovely, but just think about it... the offer is here, FOR YOU. Have you thought about the ammount of things that you would do if you weren't attached to them?"
Effy stared at him, without replying that question.
"Elizabeth, you're perfect for this business. You sing great, you have a style that many many people would like to copy. You're very pretty, Elizabeth, and you're full of charisma. The question is..." He said, taking a sip of his glass. "What do you really want to do with that?"
[...]
Effy threw the keys to the table and sighed. Katie wasn't even there, so she sat on the couch and rested her head on a cushion.
"Shit... shit, shit, shit." She muttered.
She couldn't stand it. Stand that pressure. She had accepted the offer, of course. Why not? What damage could do, that?
Sick of that pressure, she stood up and found a bottle of red wine inside the fridge. She started to drink it straight, and she closed her eyes.
The peace would come. All will be fine.
She finished with that bottle after some minutes. She was pissed, she was almost drunk and she didn't even have breakfast that morning.
Marvelous.
The brunette grabbed her mobile phone then, and dialled Katie's number. She was sad. Sad and pissed. And she wanted to talk with her because she needed her. When she heard the voicemail, she sighed.
*Hiya! It's Katie, leave a message if it's important and if it isn't, just fuck off!*
"K-Katie... I need, I need to... talk with you."
She threw her mobile to the couch, angrily. She wanted to yell at her again, for leaving her alone, there, copping with all her problems.
She thought it wasn't fair, and then, Foster's words came to her mind.
"Have you thought about the ammount of things that you would do if you weren't attached to them?"
It was like a ghost haunting her. She felt hopeless. She didn't want to think about it, fuck's sake, they were four. They were four and it was perfect! They wouldn't ever leave the band, any of them, and Effy neither but...
Was she the person who Foster was saying she was?
[...]
Katie gave two turns to the key and she opened the door. There was no light inside the house, and she left her purse on the small bureau of their hall.
She found Effy, laying on the couch with a bottle of wine between her hands. She was sleeping and Katie sighed, grabbing the bottle and covering Effy's body with a blanket.
"Mmmh...?"
Katie whispered. "Shht, it's just me."
"K-Katie?" She said, recomposing herself and rubbing her eyes. "What time is it?" Effy's voice was dry and somewhat raspy and Katie really hated when Effy behaved like that. She hated it so deeply.
Anyway, she smiled when Effy wrinkled her nose and stared around, a little bit disoriented by the lack of light. "Half past seven. You seem to have been sleeping for hours, here."
The brunette rubbed her forehead with her fingers. "Fuck..."
"I'll bring some painkillers, OK?"
Effy nodded and Katie went to the kitchen. The tall girl sighed and she put her head on a cushion. It hurted a lot and she was grateful because she had Katie, there.
As always.
'For me. She's always been there for me. In all my failures, she has always given me the support I have needed, fuck.' She thought.
When Katie appeared on the living room again, handing her a glass of water and a couple of pills, she swallowed them and closed her eyes. She hadn't eaten anything and her stomach was starting to creak. The youngest girl laughed, listening that.
"Knowing you, I'm sure you haven't eaten anything today." And Effy shrugged. Katie sighed. "I'll call for a pizza, then. With tuna, isn't it?"
Effy liked it when Katie did that. When Katie remembered every fucking thing about her. "Please."
And the twin smiled, kissing Effy's forehead before grabbing her mobile phone.
Elizabeth Stonem was a completely lucky girl.

The following morning, the girls met on Gina's garage. Effy needed to talk with them seriously, and well... it was a good idea.
They could be theirselves on that old garage and it was so good.
Of course, when Emily sat on Naomi's lap and the blonde hugged her with a goofy smile on her face, Effy knew that something had changed. "So you've finally been shagging, then?" Emily poked her tongue and the brunette laughed, shaking her head.
"Well." Started Naomi, clearing her throat and staring at her friend. "So what do you want to tell us?"
Effy bitted her lip, sitting on the desk chair and she grabbed a paper. The redhead grabbed it and when she read the information, she couldn't help but open her eyes, surprised. Naomi did the same, reading it out loud and when Katie listened that she closed her eyes.
She didn't want to feel the thing she was feeling but she did.
Jealousy.
"I... I wanted to ask you if..."
Naomi laughed, standing up and hugging her friend. "Fuck's sake, Effy, this is amazing..."
Emily smiled but that was when she saw Katie's face. The older twin was staring at her, and Emily shook her head.
Emily just knew her sister too much, and she knew that Katie would die for an opportunity like that one, but jealousy wasn't allowed.
Katie finally stood up, joining the hug.
The younger twin was worried, but. Why, that face? She hadn't seen that before... she thought about their conversation on the kitchen and she understood it, then.
Effy was going to do that by herself. Alone. Katie didn't like that.
Katie was scared as shit. She didn't want Effy to leave them.
Katie couldn't stand it.
