Chapter 13 is here :) Thanks for the reviews and the follows, favorites... all that stuff!

...

"Holy shit..." John Foster muttered, staring at the four girls. He had already met the person who had won the radio's dodge.

Her name was Pandora and she was 20. Foster thought that she was just a fucking loner but the first time the girls saw that girl, they thought that she was cool. Well, Katie thought that she was a weirdo but those kind of judgements weren't anything new in Katie's life so... a guy who worked with the radio's station made a couple of pictures and then he and John left the studio.

Naomi smiled politely and the girl stared at them. "I can't really believe I'm here." She said with so much calm and Effy couldn't help but smile. Normally when they met fans they just ended hearing shouts, screams and cheers, so they just wanted to enjoy that calm.

Pandora sat on the couch and the four girls sat in front of her. "Panda is a nice name." Said Effy, and the girl just blushed. "You don't have to be shy around us, do you know?"

Emily nodded. "Do you want something to drink or eat?"

The little blonde girl shrugged. She didn't know if she wanted to jump, to shout or... she loved them. She loved them since they started with 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' and there she was. "It would be bonkers if I made you some questions."

Effy laughed. Bonkers!? She hadn't had heard that word in years, God! She decided that she liked that Pandora.

Naomi was the one who answered the question. "Go ahead, then."

The fan clapped her hands twice, so excited about it. Emily smiled so widely.

"Is it brill?" Pandora asked. "Being rockstars and that super stuff."

God, Naomi couldn't help but think that the girl was coming from Mars of something. "Yeah, usually."

The four girls smiled, that Pandora was something else, it was sure.

Mid December, 2015.

The Graham Norton Show. BBC One.

- Wow... I think it's the first time they have welcomed the guests louder than me.

(The crowd laughed).

Katie: Please... you are Graham Norton, that's like impossible (she mocked and the people laughed again, clapping).

[...]

Two hours before that interview.

Doors of the BBC studios.

"Have you seen that?" Said Effy whilst staring through the car's window. Thousands of people were standing there, behind that doors and they couldn't help but feel so many things at that time.

Naomi was shocked. She had never seen that, even in their gigs where the people was demurer. The crowd was shouting and taking photos of the car and they didn't even went outside, fuck's sake.

Katie was smiling like a fucking weirdo. She saw some posters with her face and she felt kind of proud about them, about herself...

Effy felt adrenaline inside her body. She knew how to handle that people but she wanted to feel that rush, that beautiful moment when she was cheered and adored.

Emily was scared as fuck.

Her girlfriend felt her body trembling and she grabbed her hand. "Are you OK, Em?"

"Uh-huh." She replied, a little bit unsure about it but Naomi left the issue aside.

They hadn't time to talk, they just had to face that people.

Even if Emily didn't think so, every thing would be OK.

[...]

The interview.

- Such a noise you're making. I still can hear them and I'm here.

(The people laughed again but Emily bitted her lip. She was nervous, she was so fucking nervous in one of the most important interviews they were going to have).

[...]

That night.

Emily couldn't sleep. She sat on the corner of the bed and stared at the blonde, who was sleeping so blissfully. She kind of envied her and the way she was OK with all those things because the reality was that the redhead was starting to think that she couldn't really handle that.

She didn't realize that Naomi was staring at her, with that sleepy face and a smile on her face. "Come here, babe."

Emily nodded and she laid on the bed while Naomi hugged her waist and kissed her shoulder so lazily.

"You can't sleep." Murmured the blonde. Emily just nodded. "You've been acting weird today."

She wanted to tell her, then. She wanted to say that everything was becoming to much and she just wanted to be Emily again, not a famous person without private life at all.

In fact, the only thing that reminded Emily that every thing was real was that blonde who was cuddling with her.

The redhead lied (again). "I was a little bit overwhelmed, you know... I've been a huge fan of Norton since I was 15."

Of course that the blonde believed her pathetic excuse because Emily had promised her in the past that she wasn't ever going to lie to her.

Why would Emily lie? Why would Naomi think that Emily was lying if she agreed to be honest with her?

Those were Emily's thoughts.

Emily didn't know how to fix that shit because she was breaking her promise and that hurt.

She took a long breath before burying her face in Naomi's chest and the blonde smiled and kissed her head because she thought that everything was going OK.

But she was so wrong.

22nd December, 2015.

Road to Heathrow Airport.

Effy was driving with a huge grin on her face. She had got the driver's license in less than three months and although it was one of the first times she took the car, the truth was that she liked to drive. She enjoyed doing that.

She was going to fly to Manchester and she wanted to see her family so fucking bad.

She missed her crazy brother, Tony, and she missed her Mum. Even if she didn't have a good relationship with her father she missed him too.

Katie was sitting by her side because she wanted to accompany her to the airport. She was going to miss her and well, even if that year she wasn't going to Bristol with her sister (because their parents agreed to visit London for once) Effy was the only person that she was going to miss those days.

Because Christmas meant family and Effy was definitely her family.

"Katie."

The twin stared at the driver and raised an eyebrow. "W-what?"

Effy smiled and passed one of her hands through her hair. "Maybe I'll come by New Year's Eve. I've been thinking about it and it's kind of useless to stay in Manchester, so..."

"That would be nice." Mumbled the little girl and Effy couldn't help but chuckle. "What are you laughing at?"

"Why are you so fucking tense?"

Katie sighed and stared at her. "I am not tense."

"That's shit, you know you are."

And Katie breathed because it was then or never. She bitted her lip and stared at Effy's eyes. The brunette parked the car for a moment. "For me, Christmas is about to be with the people you want, you know? Since we are doing this, since we are The Skins is like if we had lost some things and... I don't know, I seem like a fool."

Effy shook her head. "You don't."

"I thought that you were mad at me and that's why I'm here. I guess I can't stand not seeing you for a week but... but I can't be angry with you for Christmas."

The brunette raised an eyebrow and stared at Katie. "Why should I be mad at you?"

Katie sighed again. "I... I kind of shagged Cook."

It was like a huge slap on her cheek. A fucking surprise. Katie and Cook!? Wow that was... Effy swallowed because she didn't know what to say.

Was she angry? Nope, but she was feeling weird things.

She wanted Cook's head on a fucking silver's tray. He didn't deserve a fucking princess like Katie Fitch, God...

"Effy?"

Effy stared at her again, trying to play cool with that information. "I'm glad for you." She said.

"W-we aren't together. I was sad for Hugh, he was there... I couldn't be with a person like Cook."

That was impressive, Katie Fitch was rambling... Effy sighed. "If you needed something you know that you could have relied on me, Katie."

Katie couldn't help but chuckle a little when she heard that. "Eff, I needed a fucking shag. You know that the muff-munching gene was entirely for my sister."

She should have laughed at that, and she should have continued driving but for a few seconds she couldn't.

Effy didn't know why but that last sentence wasn't fine. In fact she didn't like it a fucking bit.

Why?

Because the mysteryous Effy Stonem fancied the fucking guts of Katie fucking Fitch.

[...]

"Well..."

Effy stretched her legs out of the car and stared at Katie, who was moving her legs nervously. On the way to the airport, her head had been thinking and thinking. She could not help but feeling that Effy's reaction was not quite normal, and that she liked it very much. It scared her, but she liked it equally. "Call me when you get off the plane."

Effy smirked. "Since when do you care about these little things?"

"Effy..." Katie complained, trying that Effy won't continue with that conversation.

The brunette just grinned, grabbing her luggage and kissing Katie's cheek, so slowly.

So slowly that Katie had time to close her eyes and to enjoy that little moment of privacy.

"I'll call you, OK?" Katie nodded. "Oh, and don't worry 'bout the car, Naomi has told me that she'll come here tomorrow to take it. You'll need it, I think."

The petite girl raised a brow. "Why?"

"Because your parents and James are going to come here tomorrow, maybe? Emily's car is not that big."

Katie sighed. "Yeah, I know. The thing I do not know is why the hell she doesn't get rid of that junk, now that she can buy a better car."

Effy chuckled. "It suits her. And plus, I like that old car, just remember all the crazy times we've had in that Citroen." Katie laughed, then, remembering those times when they were just four young ladies who wanted to make some noise. "Anyway, I'll be late if I don't-"

"Yeah..." Effy embraced her, weirdly (those weird hugs that finished with three taps on the shoulder). "And call me. If you don't call me I'll-"

Effy laughed. "OK, OK... see you in a few days."

"Bye." Said Katie, watching the brunette walking away and passing through the airport's door.

She let out a long sigh and headed for the taxi area, grabbing the first cab she saw. She entertained herself passing her mobile from hand to hand in the back of that car. Anxious, she unlocked the mobile screen and after watching the time (and thinking that Effy would be landing on the plane), she quickly dialed her sister's phone.

With every tone she was hearing, Katie's anxiety grew and grew.

/"Katie?"

"Thank God you've answered it! Where are you?"

Emily sighed. /"Have you seen what time is it? Where the hell do you think I am!? At home with Naomi."

Katie smiled slightly relieved (because she knew they were going to be able to talk). "Well, tell the blonde to take her hands off you for a fucking second, I need to talk to you."

/"Katie..."

"PLEASE?"

And when she heard that long, loud sigh, she knew he had convinced her sister and smiled. /"Are you going to take long to arrive?"

Katie rolled her eyes. "You two are so disgusting. And I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

/"Twenty?" Emily tried to negotiate.

And after a long sigh, Katie muttered. "I d-don't really want to know what the fuck are you two doing right now."

And she heard a chuckle and her sister hung up. Katie stared through the window of the cab and she listened the song that it was playing on the radio, banging her hand against her leg to the rhythm of that melody and humming it. When she arrived to her sister's block she paid the bill and left the taxi, staring at her watch. "Fuck... fuck them."

Katie put her finger on the ringbell and she touched it, because she was nervous and anxious, to the point that she didn't care if Emily and Naomi were fucking or not. The truth was that she didn't give a fuck.

"Babe, open the door please!" She rolled her eyes because she did that when Emily (or Naomi) called theirselves 'babe', or 'honey'. It still was sort of uncomfortable.

Anyway, Naomi opened the door and smirked when she saw Katie, standing out there. "Good morning, Katiekins. Always good to see you here."

"Cut the crap, Campbell. Where is my sister?" She said, entering the house in a flash.

The blonde smiled and closed the door. "In the shower. She'll be out in five."

When Katie realized that Naomi was still wearing a slightly wet hair, she couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Ew."

"Come on... you know, you'll have to get used to this. Girls together in the shower and your crush on Elizabeth Stonem? Very likely to happen..."

"Fuck off." Murmured Katie, without even staring at her.

Naomi sighed and rubbed her back, and then Emily appeared in the living room, covering her hair with a towel and raising an eyebrow at the strange situation (she swore that she was seeing Naomi and Katie having a friendly gesture. Weird. Very rare).

Naomi smiled and stood up. "I'm going for a walk. To get some lunch, buy the newspaper... stuff." The petite redhead hugged her and muttered a 'thank you' in her ear, and Naomi smiled, kissing the tip of her nose and running her thumb across Emily's cheek. "Behave, ladies."

"Never." Katie replied with some irony.

And when Katie heard the sound of the door, she sighed with relief. Emily smiled and went into the kitchen, and her sister just followed her. "This is going to sound funny, but I also wanted to talk to you." Katie raised an eyebrow. "Do you remember when we were young and we had a huge thing to say?"

"Straight to the center of the target, isn't it?" Katie replied and Emily nodded. "OK. You first?"

The younger twin sighed, crossing her fingers on the table and staring at her sister. "Okay, here it goes. The other day I... I caught Effy getting a line."

It could be because Katie hadn't understood it. Because she didn't quite understand. At the time, Katie didn't link the terms correctly.

"A line?" She asked blissfully, having no idea about what that meant.

Emily sighed again. "Cocaine, Katie."

As a knock-out of the great Muhammad Ali, right to her cheek and without any protection. And Katie's throat dried and her eyes looked like they were going out of their orbits, and the information flowed freely through her brain, playing with her mind. She was only able to articulate a simple question.

"WHAT?"

And Emily nodded without staring at her and Katie gulped. "F... fuck..."

"Look, it was maybe just that day because she was feeling weak or something... I don't know, Katie. I really don't know."

Katie stared at her. "Have you talked to her?" Emily shook her head. "And Naomi? What does she th-"

"She doesn't know." Muttered Emily and Katie raised an eyebrow. "It's a long story, but you can't tell her."

"Why?"

Emily shrugged. "Because it will hurt her and... can we leave it here? What was that thing you wanted to tell me?"

Katie looked down, trying to digest that information. Effy Stonem did drugs. Did Effy do drugs? Emily had seen just a line, but still... Katie had to talk to her about that. She bit her lip, looking at her sister (Emily expected her to take the step and say whatever she had to say).

"Katie, it's me. You know you can trust me and-"

"I like Effy."

Emily opened her eyes wide, looking at her sister up and down. "Well, is your friend. It's completely normal to like your friends."

Katie sighed loudly. "Fuck... Emily, you know what I mean."

"Oh my God... what!?" Murmured Emily, without believing at all what Katie had said, but she understood it, yeah... if the whole world was losing his head by Effy Stonem, Katie, who was living with her had it easy. It was easy to go through that. "Are you sure? I mean, maybe you're confused and..."

"I like Effy. All about Effy." She replied, staring at her sister. "And believe me, I have spent so many months thinking what the hell is this, but..."

And if Emily was surprised before, she was rather stunned, now. Katie, the queen of cocks (honestly), raving about a girl...

Emily couldn't help the laughter that she blurted out and Katie raised an eyebrow, surprised and upset. When the arms of her sister embraced her, she felt better and she let out a big sigh. "I'm glad you told me."

"Aren't you pissed?"

The younger twin stared at her, smiling. "Why I should be? Of course I'm not, Kats. The only thing that worries me... what the hell will you do with the thing you've told me?"

"With Effy?" Emily nodded and Katie shrugged. "I would like to know." She muttered, and her sister passed her arm through her shoulders. "Could things be more complicated?"

"Just... be careful, okay? You know how Effy is. An awesome friend, but you know that she likes to play around." Katie nodded, staring at her. Worried. A little bit scared, perhaps... Emily kissed her forehead lovingly and then she stood up. "Want some breakfast?"

The older twin smiled and nodded, and Emily got caught doing things in the kitchen while Katie lit a cigarette and let the smoke slink through her lungs, very slowly. Whether she liked Effy or not... she had to talk to her, it was imperative.

What if Effy was really having problems with drugs?

She consumed the cigarette, slowly as she thought that it was only an hour and a little more than she had said 'good bye' to the brunette and she was already missing her.

Fucking torture...

And that's all *sigh*
