Brax POV

This has being the hardest 3 weeks of my life. She is my best friend and I just stood there and watched them take her away. How will I ever be able to face her again knowing I failed her? Seeing her getting hauled off in the ambulance broke me. I had to get away for a while. I told Elliot I was going and he seemed to understand. I didn't know where I was going but I got onto a bus and found my way to Ray's Ranch. I Decided to hang out here were I wont disappoint anyone I love again.

Ana POV

I don't mind my husband hovering over me. When I woke up in the hospital and looked into his eyes my world felt right again. I have missed him so much and he is making me feel so needed and loved. Elliot hugs me then Jose. I can feel the tension in their bodies.

"Baby Girl you scared us to death."

"I did not mean to."

"I know but how are my little people doing?"

"They are great."

"Christian were is Brax? I remember seeing him before I was taken."

"He is at the gym. He has being blaming himself for not stopping them. He spends all his time there working the bags."

"But there was nothing he could have done."

I know that my love I tried to explain that to him but I know it's no use."

"Oh Christian I am going to have to go and speak to him."

"Soon my love." To my surprise in walks in the rest of the family.

"Ana dear we were so concerned for you."

"Oh Grace I was so afraid when they took you away."

"We are both ok now and you have those grand babies of mine to look after so you rest up." I get hugs and kisses and tears from all. Jake is hanging back in the corner and I can tell he does not know what to do. I can tell he is also hurting. Christian is still behind me holding me just incase I might disappear. The family sit for about a half hour then Grace insists they leave. They all say their goodbyes.

"Jake can you stay please? I will get Taylor to take you home just now." He nods his head but does not move. I open my arms to him and he hesitates. His eyes are glassy from his unshed tears. I can't imagine what he went through when I was missing. I can tell he wants to come to me but is not sure.

"I am sorry I left you Jake. I didn't mean to." He smiles at me then nods an understanding and comes into my arms.

"Ana I though I will never see you again. My heart broke again everyday you were gone. I cannot lose you or Christian. You'll are my only family I have." He is crying into my neck and I am crying to. Christian is holding onto both of us like it is his lifeline. He finally settles down and goes into my bathroom to wash up. When he returns he looks a lot better.

"Jake are you ok now?"

"I am now but if I am being honest. I was terrified of loosing you."

"Knowing you and Christian were here at home waiting for me was what allowed me to hang on. And I has the babies to look after." He lowers his eyes and I can tell something else is bothering him. I will have to speak to him when we get home. We sit together for a long tie chatting about everything till the nurse comes in and insists I get some rest. Jake goes home with Taylor and Christian stays with me. I don't think I would be able to sleep if he left me alone. I have laid here for hours and can't sleep. I am to afraid to close my eyes because I see there faces haunting me. I had to kill them to protect my babies and myself. I know I did not have a choice but to shoot ones own mother is a terrible thing even if she hated me.

"Ana are you still awake?"

"I am."

"Are you ok baby?" I don't want to worry my family with this burden.

"I am just relaxing. I think I am afraid if I sleep I may wake up back in that cabin."

"Never Ana. You are my life and I was so empty without you. I never want to experience that pain again. I vow to keep you and our family safe. Now rest up so I can take you home." The next day I was released but the paparazzi was camped outside in swarms.

"Ana Taylor has brought Charlie Tango 2 over so we can evade the pap's."

"Brilliant idea. I was dreading going through them."

"Ana who is he?" I giggle at Jake because I remember having the same reaction the first time.

"Come let's go in the lift and you can find out." We ride up and I can see Jake is very nervous. I take his hand to relax him. When the doors open on the roof even I gasp. "

Wow the new chopper is beautiful Christian."

"Do you like her baby?"

"Oh Christian she is wonderful. Jake there is our rid home."

"Are you kidding me?"

"No I am not. That is one of your dads toys. Charlie Tango 2." We get in and Jake can't take his eyes off Christian. This makes me giggle again because I was the same.

"Dad are you seriously the pilot?" When Jake says that it registers to me that he calls Christian Dad and I can't help the tears that escape. It has made me realize how close they have become because of me being missing.

"Yes Jake I am. Why don't you come on up front and sit next to me so you can watch?"

"Really?"

"Yes of course. Come on."

"Ana will I be able to have flying lessons when I am older?"

"Well Jake we will discuss it later and decide if it a good idea."

"Ok cool. I have the coolest family a boy can ask for." This makes me happy. We arrive at home and I can see the driveway is full of cars. This can only be Mia. I was hoping for some quiet time to get my head cleared out but I may as well get this over with. My bed is calling me.

Christian POV

I am so trilled my son has a passion for flying. We are going to have some fun times. We arrive at home and I am so pissed off at all the cars in the drive. Do these people not realize my wife needs to rest and be with her family? I am finding it very hard to leave her side. What if I go and someone takes her or what if this is all a dream and she is really not home. I have not told her of my fears but I assume she knows how I feel.

"Ana baby I am so sorry about this. I did not know she was planning this."

"Christian why don't we fly to the ranch and take a week or two away?" That is a brilliant idea. I look back at Taylor and he smiles then nods a yes to me.

"Baby you are very smart. I think that is a great idea. Taylor get Luke to round-up the other security to come with the SUV's. Tell Gail to pack us up some clothes and to come with Luke. I want her to be at the ranch with us. We all went through this hard time together and need a break." I can tell he is very shocked at what I have said but it is true. They are like family to me. I don't hesitate and tail it out of there. My family needs this time alone together.
