After getting back into the swing of things at school for their spring semester Callie and Arizona were able to spend more time together as the weather started heating up. They had taken Lucia up on her offer of them going by the house sometimes which is where Callie taught Arizona the basics of lacrosse, mostly how to throw and catch with a stick. One weekend Callie even asked her parents if they could take out their jet skis which was now one of Arizona's favorite things to do. Another weekend they went out on their boat with Callie's parents to decompress from school and go fishing then went mini golfing together that night when they got back on land. Another one of Arizona's favorite weekends was when they went to a fair on the boardwalk where they walked along it, got ice cream, and went to the arcade there. All of their friends went too and at night bon fires were set up all along the beach and they made a whole night out of it. She also loved when Callie took her on a picnic and then to Sea World. She loved watching the dolphins swim and Callie even got them in to swim with them. Two of Callie's favorite things were definitely when she took Arizona to a batting cage and when they went to a baseball game. Arizona was reluctant to go up to bat herself and whined about Callie dragging her there until she hit her first ball and then Callie couldn't get her to leave. When they had gone to the baseball game Arizona wore a baseball cap with her hair in curled pig tails and it was one of Callie's favorite looks on her for sure. She bought her a jersey to complete the look and that night they kicked Christina out of Callie's room and Callie showed her just how much she loved it. One weekend Arizona surprised Callie by showing up at her room with her normally blonde curls dyed bright pink. To say she was shocked would be a gross understatement. Arizona had reminded her that they had already talked about it and how really it was Callie's idea. They both ended up actually really liking it so she kept it. It was the weekend again and there were only two things left on their list, "smoke pot together" and "ride bikes" so they decided they'd go with the more adventurous one. Since Callie was rich it was extremely easy to get quality weed since most rich people around there spent most of their time doing drugs and drinking. Callie bought enough to make a night out of it with all their friends which is how they got to where they were right now in Cristina and Callie's suite. They drank for a little while before Callie broke out the weed. She, Mark, and Meredith all had bowls so she packed those and rolled a couple joints. After a few hits each Cristina and Owen went into her bedroom and locked the door behind them. Meredith, Derek, and Mark kept laughing at everything and didn't make any sense to anyone else. Teddy was lying on the couch eating chips and studying each one before she ate them slowly. At one point she starting talking to them and apologizing for eating their "beautiful chip family." Arizona wasn't having as great of a reaction as the rest and was sitting in the corner with her knees to her chest and her arms around them as she nervously eyed everyone in the room.

"One of you is going to tell my parents. We're going to get caught. The RA is going to come and she'll catch us and I'm going to get suspended. Why are you looking at me like that? Do I look high?" She thought she was saying all this out loud but it was really all in her head which made her look even more panicked. Callie had been dancing to some salsa music when she noticed her girlfriend looking paranoid in the corner. She went over and sat next to her.

"Hey, Arizona?" Arizona thought she had answered Callie, but it was in her head again. "Arizona? Sweetheart?" Arizona didn't trust anyone in the room except Callie and was scared that something bad was going to happen. "Arizona?" Arizona's eyes didn't make contact with hers so she got up and changed the music. She put on Billie Holiday's "I'll Be Seeing You" which was one of Arizona's favorite songs. She went back over and Arizona seemed to have calmed down a little. Callie bent down and tucked her hair behind her ear. Arizona smiled up at her and Callie took it as a good sign. She put out her hand for Arizona to take and she did. Callie slowly took her to the middle of the room and put Arizona's hand on her shoulder as she put hers on Arizona's waist and extended their connected hands. She cautiously started singing along and swaying their bodies to the music hoping not to scare Arizona. Much to her relief she didn't. Arizona completely relaxed in her arms and put her head on Callie's shoulder. She loved this song and Callie's singing, apparently even in her high as a kite mind. Callie was the one.

"Calliope, I-"

"Shh not like this. I feel the same way, but not like this." She kissed Arizona's temple and she put her head back on Callie's shoulder. Once the song was over they looked around at their disoriented friends and couldn't help but laugh. Arizona took the last of the pot and Callie's bowl and they went back to her room. They put on some music and a desk lamp instead of the overhead to make the lighting softer. Since Arizona had already had a not so good reaction once tonight Callie was reluctant for them to smoke anymore but Arizona wanted to so they did. Callie packed the bowl and stood behind Arizona with it in one hand and her lighter in the other. Arizona had only smoked off a joint tonight and before that she had never smoked so Callie knew she wouldn't know to cover the carb and might be a little nervous using it. She hadn't expected the act to be so intimate or erotic, but it was. Arizona put hers on top of Callie's that was holding the bowl and took the lighter with the other as Callie moved that hand to her hip. Callie brought the pipe to Arizona's mouth and watched as Arizona clicked the lighter on and brought the flame to the green bunches and watched as it burned. She was careful not to suck too much in, a lesson she learned earlier that night, then she stopped the flame and turned her head away to release a smoke filled breath. She walked out of Callie's embrace and sat down on her bed. Callie took a hit and followed Arizona over and straddled her hips. Arizona silently nodded to the bowl and Callie turned it towards her and lit it as Arizona took a long drag, looking into Callie's eye the entire time. She pulled away and blew the smoke out straight so the white cloud ended right on Callie's face. This round wasn't making Arizona paranoid, but instead very sexual which Callie had no problem with. Before she knew it she had put the bowl out and had Arizona on top of her.

When she woke up the next morning her body was covered in hickeys and scratches and was naked on the floor of Arizona's room. She slowly got up and saw Arizona spread across her bed, naked, with matching marks and a bruise on her butt in the shape of a bite mark. Callie smirked to herself; she had always taken a special interest in that perfect, perky, soft, area.

"Didn't you get enough of my ass last night?" Callie blushed a little at being caught staring and got back into bed as Arizona scooted over.

"I will never get enough. That ass does not quit!" She pinched it playfully as Arizona giggled at her.

"Last night was fun. I'm glad you put it on the list or I never would have done it."

"I'm glad you ended up having a good time. Would you ever want to do it again?" It wasn't like Callie was a pothead or anything, but she liked to do it once in a while. She also liked to have rough sex once in a while and pot seemed to bring that out in Arizona big time.

"Yeah. I'd be up for it as long as it's with you. It started out a little rough, I was totally bugging, but you took care of me. Plus the way we ended the night? Wow."

"I'll always take care of you when you need me to."

"That goes both ways. I bet you're pretty hungry right now, because I'm like starving, so I'm going to take care of you by taking you out to breakfast." Callie got out of bed and started getting dressed in some clothes she kept in Arizona's room.

"I get you high and you buy me breakfast? I like this deal." Arizona started getting dressed and ready too.

"I actually had this planned already. I rented a couple bikes that are downstairs and I figured we could go for a ride. After last night it's the last thing on our list which is kind of sad, but also pretty amazing. We've done so much together in a matter of months." Callie put their book in Arizona's bag and when they were ready to go they walked down the stairs and out of the building.

"I know and I wouldn't have wanted to do any of it with anyone else. So, where are we going?" They got on the bikes and started riding down the street. "I figured we'd ride along the beach and stop somewhere around there?"

"That sounds perfect to me." They were riding along the beach front when Callie called for Arizona to stop. They got off their bikes and lowered the kickstands before Arizona bounced over to Callie.

"What's up honeybun?" Arizona's pink hair was up in a bun with a couple curls hanging down, her dimples were in full force, and her eyes were sparkling more than the ocean to their side. Callie could feel this was right. This was the perfect moment and this was the perfect girl.

"We rode bikes; I think it's time to cross it off the list." Arizona gave her a kind of curious look, but Callie just nodded towards her bag so she opened it and took the book out. She took a minute to scan through the list and briefly replay every memory in her head as she did. She crossed off "ride bikes" when she got to it and continued reading through the list that now looked like this:

Tell Arizona I love her

When she read the last line her head shot up and looked at Callie with wide eyes.

"Calliope?" Arizona didn't see this coming. She had almost told Callie she loved her last night, but Callie had stopped her because they weren't in their right minds. Now her girlfriend was about to tell her she loved her and she just hoped she could get herself together to respond after she did.

"Arizona, I've wanted to tell you this for so long, but it was too early. It was too early, so I figured if I waited until we finished our list it would be perfect timing and this feels right. Ever since I met you that first day of classes I felt something no one else had ever made me feel before. Then my feelings for you kept growing and all of a sudden all I wanted to do was kiss you. Then eventually we did and we became girlfriends and I have never known happiness like I do when I'm with you. You make me want to be better and I love you so much Arizona Robbins. I am so, so in love with you and I want to spend the rest of my life telling you that." She had tried to plan this moment in her head so many times, but when it came to it she just started talking and now she was terrified. She was pretty sure Arizona would return her feelings, but there was always a chance she didn't and then what?

"Calliope…I love you too. I'm in love with you too and I want that too. I want a life with you." She took a pen out to cross out the last thing and dropped the book and pen back into her bag which she also dropped to the ground before she kissed her girlfriend. Her girlfriend who she loved and was loved by. Her girlfriend she was completely in love with; her girlfriend that was completely in love with her too. They were going to have a life together and nothing could make either of them happier.
