Hello reader time for another chapter of Transformer Prime Rise of the duel masters. Last time jack was offered the chance to train at the
kaijudo temple to learn how to duel. I've found jack's creature, its name is Alcadeus Winged Justice he will make an appearance in the next
chapter so wait until then.
"Jack tell me how would you like to learn to duel?" Nadia asked
"Me? Duel?" Jack asked "I, I'd like to give it a try but I'm not sure I'm cut out for it."
"You have extensive martial arts training, and from our fight, I think you would do well. What do you say?" Nadia asked.
"Well I'd have to clear it with my mom." he said
"Clear what with me jack?" Mom said walking up to us.
"Mom?" Jack said "When did you get here"
"I got here after you left for this 'kaiju realm'." She said "arcee caught me up on everything that happened. I was actually going to ask them if you could."
"Why?" Jack asked.
"Because jack arachnid found you." She said "Of she found you once she can find you again. the only way to ensure that you are safe is to learn how to duel."
"June's right jack." arcee said "this attack proves that I won't always be there for you, there could come a time when I'm not there and you get…" Arcee couldn't
finish the sentence, it was as if by saying that word it would happen then and there.
"If you all think this is the best way then I'll give it a shot." Jack said
"Alright now that, that's settled." Nadia said "we need to book a plane to take us home."
"Actually, master Nadia." Jack said "We have a better way."
"How?" She asked
"The groundbridge of coarse." Jack said "It can transport you anywhere on earth in a matter of seconds."
"Fascinating." Gabe said "Are there uh any side effects?"
"yep." Miko said jumping in "Theres a chance your body could be scattered to the winds, your insides might end up on the outside, oh and death."
"What!?" Gabe yelled looking green
"Don't listen to miko she's just trying to scare you" Jack said "The only side effect is a bit of indigestion which you experienced when we bridged here."
"alright then." Chavez said "We'll grab our things from the hotel and meet back here in an hour."
At jack's house he had just finished packing when his mom came in. "Jack." She said
"Yeah mom?" Jack asked.
"I want you to have something." She said taking out a box.
"What is it?" Jack asked
"Open it and see." she said
When jack opened the box he saw another box on top of a new dark blue jacket. Putting the bigger box down he opened the smaller box to find a silver ring with
an amethyst embedded in it on a small silver chain.
"Mom is this what I think it is?" Jack asked
"Yes jack." She answered "It was your fathers, when he died he left it to you in his will, he said I should give it to you when I felt the time was right."
"whats this?" Jack asked picking up a piece of paper under the ring
"Its a message from your father." June said with a sad look on her face.
Unfolding the piece of paper jack read the message, he recognized the handwriting instantly, it was his fathers alright. The message read:
"Dear Jack,
If you are reading this then your mother has just given you my ring. You need to take good care of it. This ring has been passed down in our family
for generations, where it came from is a mystery but I know that my great, great, great, great, great grandfather received it as a gift from a dying friend who
asked him to guard this ring, and so thats what we have done ever since, now it's your turn. Keep the ring with you at all times, it will help you when you need it
to. I know you will make me proud. You are a magnificent boy and you will do great things in your life, I know it.
Love your father Robert."
"I won't let you down dad." Jack said putting the necklace on. "So whats with the new jacket?"
"Take a look at it." June said smiling.
Upon closer inspection jack saw that stitched on both shoulders was the autobot insignia. "Wow. Mom Did you stitch this?"
"Yes jack." June said "I had planned on giving it to you on your birthday but I thought I should give it to you now. Do you like it?"
"Its amazing mom." Jack said hugging her "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too jack." June said returning the hug.
Jack picked up his bag, put on the jacket and went into the garage to get arcee to drive him to back to base, they had decided to get one more ride in before
jack had to go.
"Hey Cee." jack said "Ready to go?"
"Ready." she said "Hey nice jacket. But what's with the ring?"
"My mom gave me these, she stitched the autobot insignia on herself, and the ring was left to my by my dad." Jack explained.
"Alright then." Arcee said "lets head to base."
With that jack and arcee took off down the road when they got to the desert they decided to test how fast they could go before reaching the base. they sped
along without a care in the world, when they reached eighty arcee decided to really push herself to see just how fast she could go.
They reached the base and sped inside to the center where everyone was waiting once there arcee did a front wheelie then cut her engine.
"Personal best arcee." Jack said taking off the helmet "You hit one fourty easy."
"Glad you could join us." Master Nadia said. I've just given Ratchet the coordinates of San Campion, are you ready to leave?"
"Yes." Jack said. He finished his goodbyes as ratchet started up the groundbridge, Ray, Allie, Gabe, Nadia, and Chavez all walked through first, Gabe needed a
push but he got through okay, Jack was about to walk through when optimus stopped him.
"Jack." Optimus said
"Yes optimus?" Jack asked
"I would like you to hang on to this." He said handing jack the key to vector sigma.
"Are you sure optimus?" Jack asked
"Very sure jack, as I said I have been impressed by how much you have matured since we first met, and as such you have earned the right to guard this
important device."
"I won't let you down optimus." Jack said pocketing the key.
"I know you won't." Optimus said before jack walked through the groundbridge and out into an alleyway in San Campion.
"Come on jack hurry up." Ray said, Jack looked behind him as the groundbridge closed, and ran to catch up. They all walked through town until they came to a
martial arts dojo, martial arts huh? Jack thought Makes sense I guess.
They were lead through the dojo into the back office, where Master Nadia pressed on a big mirror in the back. The mirror opened like a door leading to a
staircase.
Seeing the surprised look on jack face allie said "What? Did you think the autobots were the only ones with a secret base?"
"No" Jack said as he walked through the door and down the staircase to a huge underground cavern, and in that cavern was the most magnificent temple he had
ever seen.
"Welcome Jack." Chavez said "To the order of the Kaijudo Duel Masters."
"Wow." Was all jack could say.
Cliffhanger, Well what did you think? I will try to update soon so please wait until then. If you're wondering, the ring jack got may play a bigger
role in the story later on, I'm not sure yet, jack will get his creature next chapter so look forward to that.
