Life generally sucked, sucked so bad. I don't know where to begin. The fact you went off and sent your brother away. And then the fact that your sister was on the brink of dying. Yeah. My life wasn't fun. Oh, and your parents died. Amazing. I lay in my bed, sighing. It had been a long day. Dot had gotten worse, she was practically stuck in bed all day. I wasn't able to find any scraps either, so no food. My hand went down my face, what happened? What happened to care-free days?

"Yakko?" Dot was standing at the doorway, (if you can call it that,) her hand on the edge of the "doorframe", keeping her stable. "Yeah? What are you still doing up?" I said, sitting up in confusion. "C-Can I talk to you for a second?" She stuttered, trembling. This wasn't ever day your younger sister acts this serious. "Uhh... okay." I said, scooting over and patting the spot next to me to signal she should come. She slowly made her way over, sitting down next to me and leaving her head on my shoulder.

"So?" I asked, wrapping my arm around her bony shoulder. She was getting so thin- no- not the time to dwell on that! "Yakko, am I a burden?" I opened my mouth to immediately go crazy, but she still had more to say. "I know, you'll say no, but if I hadn't got sick, we wouldn't be here! We would be okay, and we would be stronger! But no, I broke us all! Now, because of me, Wakko had to leave! And now you work your self to exhaustion, but still beat yourself up at the end of the day! And it's all because of me!" She finished, staring at nothing, yet seeming to be on the verge of tears. "Dot," I started, lifting her chin for her to look at me.

"Never think like that! You're not a burden; me and Wakko do what we do out of our free will, not because we have to. We want to!" I said, squeezing her shoulder in comfort. "But,"-

"Princess Angelina!" I said, it wasn't every day I used her real name. "I would be nothing without you or Wakko. I don't want you to ever dare think like that!" I merely yelled. Dot looked up at me in disbelief. "Y-You don't think I'm a burden?" Dot said, still looking up at me. "Yes, and I never will." I replied, squeezing her shoulder again.

A huge smile creeped onto her face, and she hugged me in relief. I felt my shoulder getting wet, and heard sniffles coming from Dot. I hugged her back. "Now, I think you should get back to bed." I said matter-of-a-factly. "Awwww... can you pwease tell me the story?" She said, taking her head of my shoulder as if nothing happened. Her eyes growing and her hand cuffed together. I couldn't say no. "Fine.." I said. I took her off of my chest, setting her down next to me. "Once upon a time there was a brave knight married to a beautiful princess, and they had two sons."-

"But they wanted a daughter too!" She said on cue. "Right. So, the planted a garden all across the kingdom, and out of the prettiest flower came,"

"Me!" Not like this was true or anything. I added it for pizazz. "And they brought you home, and every night they'd ask, 'Who's the cutest?' And you'd say,"

"I am!" Not like this was true either, a one year old can't talk. "And then they'd ask, 'how'd you ever get so cute?' And you'd say,"

"I was born that way." This, was true. "And then they'd ask, 'what's your name?' And you'd say," Here we go. "Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bo Besca the third, but you can call me Dot!" Dang, that was long. Wonder where they got the idea? "And the they'd ask, 'can we call you Dottie?' And you'd say,"

"No. Just Dot. Call me Dottie and you DIE." She poked hard this time. "Ow!-" She merely shrugged. "Missy, you will get grounded for your antics!" I said jokingly. "Aww.." she said. "Your poor sister will totally die if you ground her. It's not like she's stuck in bed all day anyways." She sarcastically said. Although she had a point, I still shook my head. "After you get better then."-

"And if I don't?" I didn't reply. I just froze like a dummy. "Yakko?" She asked. "O-Oh, sorry. I zoned out for a second." I said, shaking my head again. "Okay." She replied. Something she had said hit a nerve, and it hit it hard. "Let's just... let's just head back to sleep." I said, lifting her and bringing her to her bed. I placed her down, said goodnight, and walked back to my... no our room. Me and Wakko shared. But he wasn't here, so I guess saying my room works. I lay back down, sighing once more. I had been doing that a lot, since Wakko left.

I rubbed my eyes, sitting up and stretching my arms. I went over to Dot's room to see her playing with her doll, or more better explained, leaves filled with grass with holes for the eyes and mouth. "Hey, sis." I said, walking into the room and sitting next to her. "Hey." She merely said, continuing to play with the "doll". I felt her head drop on my shoulder, and she sighed. "Can we go to the train station today?" She asked. "Dot, I doubt he'll be back." I said. "Awww, c'mon! Pweaasseee?" Damn it. She pulled out the puppy dog eyes again. "Fine..." I said, rolling my eyes. We hopped off the "bed", even though it was a bunch of hay, and started the long, treacherous journey to the train station. I began to take large steps, wanting to get this over with. Dot was holding my hand, but was starting to pull on my arm. She started mumbling, I wasn't sure why.

"Dot, why are you-." She let go of my hand. I looked behind me quickly, yet she was nowhere to be found. My brain quickly went into panic as I ran back the way we came, calling her name. "DOT!" I yelled, my toes starting to turn numb from the snow. "Someone must have taken her.." I whispered, a lump starting to form in my throat. Out of my antics, I lost Dot. Just because I didn't want to go to the train station, I lost Dot. I ended up at the train station, and what came before my eyes...

"DOT!" I yelled, finding her on the bench. "WHAT IN SPIELBERG WERE YOU THINKING?" I yelled again, putting my arms out in exaggeration. "Well, you were taking the long way!" She said, crossing her arms. I sighed, and sat down next to her. "You could've told me you were going." I said, looking at her. "I was tugging on your arm. That should be a reason." Ugh. This girl. "Fine, but next time use your words." I said, swinging my arm over my knee. "Kay, Dad."

We watched the track for a whole hour, yet no Wakko. "Dot, I don't think he's coming." I said, scooting closer to her. "Awww, can we please stay the night. There isn't a snow storm due until next week!" She said, batting her eyelashes again. Damn. "Fineee. Did you bring your blanket?"-

"Yes! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She exclaimed, jumping up and down in her seat.

It had been 30 minutes, and Dot had a somber look on her face. "Hey, what's up?" I asked, grabbing her hand. "I-I miss him. Don't you?" She said. "I mean, don't you miss the fun little tickle fights we had. Or, how he'd always have this magic power to cheer us up?" She asked, looking up at me for an answer. "Of course I miss him! I had second thoughts on him going out there on his own, anyway!" I said, squeezing her hand. "I-" Dot didn't get to finish before tears started to pool into her eyes. "Whoa, Dot! Hey, hey, it's okay." I said, shifting her to sit on my lap, and giving her a hug. "I-I know, but-but, you guys. I dunno what I'd do without you!" She cried, shoving her face farther into my fur. I began to rub her back. "Hey, that's why siblings exist, right?" I whispered calmly. "Y-Yeah." Dot replied, her crying beginning to cease. She separated her face from my fur, and wiped her tears. "G'night, sister sibling."-

"Goodnight, brother sibling."
