Chapter 4: Don't Mess With The Espresso Part 1

Mukuro was in a horrible mood. Birdy-chan had caught him earlier trying to put Hibird on the barbecue, and Tsunayoshi promptly punished him. Then, he tried to take over the Decimo's body, and the puppy threw bombs at him and Yamamoto hit him on the head with a "Micro Hammer." When he put an illusion of a pink dress on Tsunayoshi, he was instantly caught. The brunet must have donesomething to the classroom, because he couldn't disappear or use his illusions after his boss had yelled at him.

Mukuro knows that Tsunayoshi is a man of habit, which is quite dangerous in the Mafia world. He knows that as soon as the Vongola boss gets to Nami High, he gets an espresso from the staff break room and a candy bar. After that, Tsuna goes to his classroom and corrects his students' papers, while Xanxus takes a nap. Fifteen minutes before homeroom starts, the Saint of the Sky leaves his espresso unattended, and buys either a lollipop or a box of Pocky, then goes back to correcting papers.

That break was when Mukuro planned to take action.

Tsuna got out of his car at the same time he usually did, in a very good mood that day. He started whistling Cherryblossom's "Sakura Rock", one of his favorite songs. Tsuna skipped to the break room, buying a cup of espresso from a vending machine, along with a bar of Meiji chocolate. He walked up the stairs to his second-floor classroom.

Xanxus was already in there, sleeping like a log. Tsuna smiled and got to work.

After a bit, he saw that he had fifteen minutes before homeroom. Deciding that he wanted strawberry Pocky, he skipped back down to the break room.

Mukuro grinned. Now was his chance!

He came out of the next classroom and ran into Tsuna's classroom. There was a student in there, but the pineapple-head didn't notice. Mukuro took an eyedropper shaped object out of his pocket and squeezed a few drops of something in the espresso cup.

"Kufufufu..." The Mist guardian laughed as he went out of the classroom.

Tsuna walked back into his classroom, munching on a stick of strawberry Pocky. There were several students in the classroom now. He finished correcting the papers as soon as the bell rang.

Tsuna's Hyper Intuition told him that his espresso was tampered with.

"Did any of you notice anyone putting something in my espresso?" he asked the class.

There were many shakes of the head, but one hand was raised.

"Tadakuni-kun?" Tsuna asked.

"Hai, sensei. I noticed the man from yesterday who you yelled at about canaries putting something in your cup," The student answered.

"Thank you, Tadakuni-kun. You are excused from the daily exercises today," Tsuna smiled, making many females in the room blush.

'Mukuro, prepare yourself.' The brunet thought to himself.

Hidden in a corner, Mukuro suddenly shuddered.
