After about an hour, Kodi had woken up after crying himself to sleep. His life was ruined. This is the end. He got up and walked into town to make see how bad it would be for him. As soon as he walked in, he got greeted by a bunch of ignorant scumbags.

"Hey, Kodi! There's no point in fighting it! The evidence is there! You mated with your sister, and she had 3 pups that look like you!" a dog said.

Kodi ignored them and walked on. They continued to follow him.

"You're lucky we don't kick your ass! You shouldn't even be here! You're not allowed back!" another said.

"Just let me get my brother! That's all I want!" Kodi said.

"Well too bad!"

Kodi continued to walk.

"Get out of Nome! You're not allowed here! Neither is your sister or your pups! Even Dingo lost his position at lead dog!"

"Yeah! Because he quit!" Kodi shouted.

The dogs now started to make fun of Dingo.

"I bet Dingo had something to do with this!"

"No he didn't!" Kodi said.

"Man, what a dick! He just leaves the sled team and lies to the town!"

Kodi stopped in his tracks.

"Yeah!? Well do you know who else did that!? Steele! He's lying to you guys! He…"

"Save it! Get out of here! This is your final warning!"

Kodi continued to walk towards Dingo. The dogs then attacked him. Kodi immediately ended up on the ground.

"We gave you plenty of warnings! Now we're going to tear you up and leave you out in the forest!"

Kodi couldn't put up a fight against five dogs. Meanwhile, Aleu and Star were trying to figure out names for their pups.

"We got Darfur and Tundra. What else should we name them?" Aleu asked.

"Should we let Kodi name one?" Star asked.

"I want to let him, but I don't think he wants to. Where'd papa go?"

Balto had to find Steele! But where as he!? He was nowhere to be found! He had to scout around for him! Mr. Simpson saw Kodi getting the crap beaten out of him. He immediately headed over to help Kodi.

"Get off! Get out here!" he yelled.

He pushed all the dogs off of Kodi.

"There's no way the humans are ok with this!" a dog yelled.

Mr. Simpson picked up Kodi and carried him off. The dogs chased them down, and pulled Kodi down out of Mr. Simpson's arms. Two attacked Mr. Simpson, and three with Kodi. Mr. Simpson didn't want to do what he was about to do, but he had to. He punched each dog that was attacking him and got up. He kicked all the dogs until they got off Kodi. The five dogs growled at Mr. Simpson and ran off.

"Are you ok?" Mr. Simpson asked.

He picked Kodi up and carried him to the boiler room. Kirby, Dusty, and Ralph were in there.

"Here's a friend, guys!" Mr. Simpson said.

He dropped Kodi off and left.

"Hey, guys!"

They all just gave him a look and ignored him.

"You think I mated with Aleu, don't you?"

"If you're here to get your job back, don't try it!" Kirby said.

"I didn't…"

"Kodi, there's three pups that look like you! Don't bother!"

Kodi got up to walk out.

"If you don't want me here, fine!"

"Leave! We don't need you around us!"

Kodi ran out, once against crying. Running passed the ignorant bullies, running passed his dad's boat. He can't live this way! His life might as well end!

That's it! I'll just end my life! No one will care! Kodi thought. The only person in Nome that would be upset is Mr. Simpson. But to him, Kodi is just a dog. Or at least that's how Kodi feels. Balto has five other pups, and now has six grandkids. Dingo might mourn Kodi a little bit, but he has his boy. His other brother and sisters wouldn't care, his mom was suicidal anyway. No one will miss him!

Kodi continued to search for a pond or a lake. He eventually did, and jumped in. Steele had went into Nome without getting spotted by Balto. He walked through town and got greeted by everyone there. There five dogs that ganged up on Kodi approached him.

"We beat the crap out of him for you," one dog said.

"Thanks. He deserved it!"

"He did! Well, have a good day!" another said.

Steele was starting to feel bad for Kodi once more. He can't keep doing this! If a dog kills Kodi, he'll have to live with the grief! And… Kodi is his mate! He can't just treat him mate this way! He saw Dingo getting bullied. His whole family was getting affected. This whole plan was to make Balto suffer. It turned into Kodi and the other pups suffering. He's gotta make this stop!

The first step is apologizing to Kodi… but where is he? He's not in Nome, not in his dad's boat. He finally got a whiff of Kodi's scent.

"There he is!"

Steele chased down Kodi's scent. He had to find him! He had to apologize! What's the point? Kodi will never forgive him! He finally found a pond.

5 minutes earlier:

Kodi jumped into the pond. He submerged his head kept it submerged. He wanted to breathe! He really did! But he wanted to die more. He couldn't breathe! His lungs had filled up with water completely.

Please forgive me for this, Kodi prayed, Please forgive my sins! I understand suicide is a ticket to hell, but please let hell be better for me than this earth!

At this point, Kodi had completely stopped breathing. His heart was still beating, and he still had his thought process. That wasn't for long, though. The pond was shallow, so although Kodi sank down, his body was still visible.

At that moment, Steele came in. He looked around for a little bit, then started to head out more. He then saw the body of something red sticking out of the water. He didn't think anything of it at first, but then he realized…

"KODI!"

Steele jumped into the water to rescue Kodi. It was already too late. Kodi had died. The chances of Kodi attempting to drown himself twice, and getting revived twice aren't high at all. Steele pulled Kodi out of the water and set him down on his back.

"Kodi… d… don't! Come on!"

Steele nudged Kodi's body. He remembered Aleu's tactic of getting the water out of his lungs. He started pounding his head on Kodi's stomach. He kept doing it until the water came out of his lungs. Kodi still didn't move. He was gone.

"There's no way! You can't be gone this time! You can't!"

Steele started shaking Kodi to get him to wake up, but it was no use. Kodi was gone.

"You're not dead! After all the crap I put you through, this is not the end! I beat you so much! I'm sorry!"

Steele knew he wasting his breath. Tears started pouring out of his eyes as he held Kodi tighter. He cried into Kodi's body. If anyone said a word to Steele right now except for Kodi, they'd be dead.

"Why!? Everything… Everything I do is wrong!" Steele mourned.

Steele didn't think about CPR, but that wouldn't work anyway. Steele couldn't stand this! It was his turn for suicide! He will join Kodi. He couldn't let go of Kodi's body, though. He kissed Kodi's body before getting up to jump in the pond.

At that moment, just before Steele let go of Kodi's body, Balto came in to see his son laying dead on the ground. Steele gripped Kodi's body more when he saw Balto.

"What did you do to him!?" Balto yelled.

"He drowned himself! He's gone!"

Balto ran to his body.

"Kodi! Oh God! No!"

He stole Kodi's body from Steele.

"You're not dead! Get up! Come on, Kodi!"

Balto shook and hit Kodi's body.

"Balto! Stop! He's gone! Go get everyone! Please!" Steele said.

"Steele! How do I know you didn't kill him!?"

"Please, Balto! I love Kodi! I've gone crazy twice! I regret both of those times! I hurt my mate in the process! That resulted in him dead! I would never hurt Kodi!"

Balto gave Steele a look.

"I wouldn't anymore!"

Balto wasn't sure on how to respond.

"Alright, if you're telling the truth, then you'll be here with Kodi's body when I get back!"

"I will! Now go get his family!"

Balto left Steele with Kodi's body. Steele continued to cry. Kodi was gone!
