Sorry it's a little short. I was trying to get back to the main story line before I lost the creative atmosphere from the last chapter.

It's also kinda messily-written due to me forcing ideas from my head, which is why I didn't try to add more. If I did then It would be a disaster.

So this is kinda filler/character development etc.

Hope it's enjoyable anyway.

Don't own FMA, only Alexis. Enjoy!

Chapter 10

Arguments

"Don't worry about her Al. She's just waiting to shoot some more people" Ed spat, glaring out his window beside the black-haired girl.

Alexis glared at him.

"Did you NOT see me getting shot and that guy coming at me with a knife? You just expect me to go 'Oh! You're trying to kill me? Go right ahead then!'?" She growled.

"The guy was running away, he wasn't trying to kill you when you shot him"

"The guy could've gotten away, came back later and slit my throat, Elric. Don't be naive, you'll only get the people you care about hurt" She countered.

The two were glaring openly at each other now.

Suddenly Alexis flinched, grabbing her shoulder.

"Alexis! Come on, we need to get that bullet out" Riza helped the girl out of the car, Havoc already inside filling out paperwork for her admittance.

Alexis looked back to Ed and Al.

"I made the right choice" She told them.

Ed and Al got out of the car and watched as Riza dragged Alexis inside.

Ed's face hit the floor with a large lump on his head.

"ALPHONSE?! What was that for?"

Al looked down at his brother. He was mad.

"Why do you always have to talk to people like that, Ed? Can't you see she was already hurt?"

"But she-"

"No buts! You're going to apologise to the Major!"

"Alphooonnnnssseee"

"Go!" Alphonse threw his arm out, pointing to the hospital.

Ed grumbled as he pulled himself up and trudged after the others, Alphonse followed behind him.

They found that she had already been taken to a room and was getting treatment.

Havoc waved them over and showed them where she was.

Ed was about to open the door when they all heard:

"Stop tiptoeing around it and let me pull it out already! Jeez, it's not life-threatening!"

The scene they came to was the doctor, looking nervously at an irritated Alexis, who had her index and thumb buried into her wound. Her wounded shoulder faced away from the door and her sleeve had been rolled up. Al noticed she kept her gloves on.

"Almost...Got it!" Blood spurted over the white bed sheets and the doctor rushed to her side.

"See? Told you it wasn't hard"

Alexis then noticed Ed and Al standing, gaping from the doorway.

"Oh hey guys, come on in" She said.

"You-you just..." Al started.

"YOU PULLED A BULLET FROM YOUR OWN ARM!" Ed yelled.

"...Yes?"

"YES? WHAT THE HELL? Didn't that hurt like hell?"

"It did, I'm just not a baby that'll scream at something like this" She deadpanned.

Ed looked like he was about to yell back when Al nudged him on the shoulder.

"Ed, don't you have something to tell the Major?"

Ed started sweating as he looked at the girl getting her arm wrapped.

Alexis looked back with wide curious eyes.

"Mustang...I'm S-so...sooo..." Ed fumbled, face turning red from embarrassment.

"Ed!" Al growled.

"Sooorr- Sorry"

Alexis blinked her wide eyes before a grin split across her face.

"Think nothing of it Ed, I'm sorry I was so harsh. I just don't want either of you to get hurt" She answered, looking between the two of them.

"Alright Major, You're arm is all stitched and bandaged, we'll get a blood transfusion hooked up now and you should be fine tomorrow." the doctor said, putting his tools away.

Alexis swung her legs over the edge of the bed and got up.

"Don't worry about that stuff, I'm fine now" She told him, grabbing her jacket.

Al put his hand on her non-wounded shoulder.

"You lost a lot of blood, Alexis. I think you should stay here!" He said.

Alexis looked up to him, glancing at his hand with a look he couldn't decipher.

"It's ok Alphonse, I heal pretty well. I just need to eat something. Shall we go get dinner?" She smiled to the brothers.

Riza watched from the door, her eyes on Alphonse's hand that sat on Alexis' shoulder.

"Are you sure you should be walking around?" Ed asked.

Alexis pulled her shoulder away from Alphonse. He would have frowned at the feeling if he could.

There's something on her shoulder? He thought.

"Yep! Let's go. Thank you Doctor!" She yelled back.

The doctor looked like he wanted to stop her but didn't say anything.

"Riza, you should go make sure Roy's doing his paperwork, you know how useless he is without you." Alexis said, walking out of the hospital with the woman by her side. Ed, Al and Havoc followed.

"Alexis!" A voice called out.

They turned to see Roy coming toward them.

"Speak of the devil!"

"Are you ok now?" He asked, looking at the bandages.

"Yup! All patched up!" She answered, holding her arm up as if flexing the muscle. "We were just about to go get dinner!"

"Oh good! We'll come too, I suddenly became hungry!" Roy smiled.

Everyone jolted when they hear a familiar 'click'.

Alexis and Roy turned to Riza, who had her gun in her hands.

"Don't you have some work to do, Colonel?" She asked.

Roy waved as Riza dragged him to a car, Havoc snickering as he followed.

"Come to my Office tomorrow for your next mission Fullmetal" Roy ordered, trying to look commanding.

"Whatever Colonel Bas-" Threatening look from Alexis "-Mustang"

Al laughed. Alexis looked up to the boy-in-armour and grinned. She hooked her arm through the armoured one and pulled him through the streets.

"Let's go spend Ed's money!" She cheered.

Ed ran after them.

"Don't run off with my brother! And who said I was paying?"

Ugh, so messy~ 3

There was also something I was going to mention...but I cant remember what it is so I'll probably add it in next chapter's note...if i remember lol

Gomenasai~ It's so awkwardly done. The word "Shoulder" Is in there soooo many times!

But it's kinda important so I needed it to be noticed. I just wish I could've been subtler

*Curls up in the corner*

Alexis: ." Hope you enjoyed it...at least a little...

Al: See you next time!

Ed: Yeah...Whatever they said
