Chapter Twenty-Three
The Sailor Starlights were very relieved to see The Princess and immediately knelt before her.
"Chaos corrupted everything a long long time ago" Kakyuu explained. "he was eventually sealed away by the legendary Sailor Soldier who was the strongest Sailor Soldier in the galaxy. Chaos has somehow been revived and I have been searching for the Light of Hope which was left behind by the legendary Sailor Soldier"
"You are most welcome here, Princess" Serena said.
Sailor Galaxia stood in the shadows.
"The Sailor Senshi are all gathered together on Earth" She mused. "My followers do not stand a chance against them"
"Then let us go" Beryl replied. "We will take care of those brats"
"No" Galaxia said. "Not yet. Tin Nyanko will get the Star Seeds"
"Yes, my queen" Tin Nyanko bowed and left the room.
In the Three Lights' studio Seiya sat with Princess Kakyu.
"You are in love" Kakyuu commented. Seiya looked down.
"I did not mean to fall in love" He replied.
"It is alright" Kakyuu replied. "you deserve to be happy. I can take away your female form and you can be a general instead of a senshi" Seiya agreed to it, because having two forms was awkward. Kakyuu placed a hand on him and he felt power flow through him.
"Thank you" He said.
"I am tired" Kakyuu replied, laying down on the couch. "I think I'll sleep" She fell asleep and Yaten sat beside her to watch over her.
Seiya went to visit Serena, who was sitting in her room, crying.
"What's wrong?" Seiya asked. Serena turned to look at him.
"What if I can't do it?" She asked. "What if I can't save my home?"
"I know how you feel," Seiya said softly. "I felt the same way about Kinmoku"
"But you failed!" Serena snapped. Seeing the look on Seiya's face, Serena felt terrible. "I'm so sorry" She said. "I..." Seiya hugged her.
"You're worried, and you have every right to be, but I have faith in you and your brother" He told her. Serena sighed.
The next day Jason and Nathan decide to protect Serena by following her around.
"The enemy could be any where" Jason reminded her. Serena rolled her eyes.
After a whole day of her brother and his best friend following her everywhere Serena had enough and told them to leave her alone. She ran off in another direction.
After school Jason and Nathan went home.
"Where's Serena?" Kale asked.
"She wants to be left alone" Jason sighed.
"You left her alone..." Kale began. Zoe sighed and stood up.
"I'll go find her" She said.
Serena was by herself on the roof of the school building watching some students play soccer.
"I can take care of myself" She muttered to herself.
"Can you now?" She turned to see Sailor Tin Nyanko.
Downstairs Seiya was cleaning out his desk and thinking about how his life as Seiya was over. Zoe then opened the classroom door in her search.
"Have you seen Serena?" She asked. Seiya shook his head.
"Do you want help looking for her?" He asked. Zoe nodded and they split up.
Seiya found Princess Sailor Moon fighting for her life on the roof. He threw a rose at Tin Nyanko's feet which got her attention. Princess Sailor Moon saw the rose and immediately thought of Tuxedo Mask. She frowned, thinking she was over that backstabbing bastard. Seoys transformed.
"Star Serious Laser" the attack knocked Nyanko off her feet.
"Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss" the attack hit Sailor Tin Nyanko.
"Beautiful!" Nyanko whispered stepping out of the blast. Interestingly one of her bracelets was damaged and half of her now appeared to be white.
She staggered a bit but then quickly teleported away in the phone-booth, as it began to rain. Now in thier civilian forms, Serena began to cry.
"I'm not strong enough" She whispered. Seiya knelt in front of her and she looked up at him. "Please don't leave me" She whispered. Seiya hesitated.
"I'll never leave you alone" He promised, wrapping his arms around her.
