A Run From Destiny
Chapter Twenty-Four
Serena and Seiya stayed like that for awhile, then Serena looked at him.
"You were different" She said suddenly. "When you rescued me" Seiya smiled slightly.
"Kakyuu has taken my female form. I am completely male now" Seiya replied. "She has given us her blessing"
"I feel so much better now" Serena said, giggling. Her thoughts turned to a serious matter.
"Now that you've found Kakyuu, are you going home?" She asked.
"I don't know" Seiya replied, quietly. "I can't go against the princess"
"I understand" Serena kissed her cheek.
"I'd better head home" She said. Seiya nodded and watched her walk away. The next day, Zoe and Serena were watching Chibi Chibi when the little girl turned the stero on.
"the Three Lights will be splitting up and will be performing their farewell concert soon" A voice said over the stereo. Serena gasped.
"I have to go see Seiya. If he leaves..." She trailed off.
"I understand" Zoe said. Serena left and on her way, she ran into Amara and Michelle. They wanted to go with her and ensure that she said goodbye to Seiya for good, not that she knew that was their intention.
Back stage at the concert hall the Three Lights sat with Princess Kakyu.
"With this final concert we will definitely find the Light of Hope" Taiki said. Serena, Chibi Chibi, Amara and Michelle arrived shortly afterwards.
"Can we get some privacy" Seiya asked. the others filed out and Seiya and Serena sat on a couch.
"I never meant to fall in love" He told her, "And now that I have, I'm not sure what to do"
"war is about to truly begin on this planet" Yaten told Amara and Michelle. "You will not be prepared" Seiya and Serena then joined them so Seiya, Yaten and Taiki head out for their final performance.
The three thanked all of their fans and told them all that they wished their songs gave them hope. They then began to sing while secretly sending their message to the Light of Hope. Unknown to everyone, Chibi Chibi began to glow a bright pink.
As the concert hall ceiling opened Sailor Tin Nyanko attacked the entire building with energy blasts. As the audience evacuated the Three Lights transform into the Sailor Starlights and a General Starlight. Serena also transformed into Princess Sailor Moon. Strangely Tin Nyanko, who was now half white and half black began to switch back and forth between wanting to help them save Earth and wanting to take their Star Seeds.
"What's going on?" Sailor Moon asked. it was Kakyuu who answered her.
"Tin Nyanko used to be a real Sailor Soldier but she had had her Star Seed taken and is only being held together by her bracelets given to her by Galaxia"
Suddenly black lightening burst from the heavens and blasted the entirety of Tokyo, possible the entire country or planet. Queen Beryl and Prince Endymion appeared.
"We no longer have use of you" Beryl said coldly. Endymion removed the remaining bracelet, killing her. As she disappeared, Tin Nyanko's bell fell to the ground and rang. Princess Sailor Moon stared up at Prince Endymion.
"Looks like you finally decided to show up" She said. Sailor Galaxia appeared and blasted Princess Kakyu sending her flying. She then fired several bracelet blasts at her. Kakyu held it at bay with her immense power.
"You're not strong enough" She told the starlights. "You are no match for her. Leave!" They stood their ground and looked on in horror as she was hit. Her beautiful red Star Seed appeared above her head and Galaxia grabbed it. Princess Sailor Moon attacked Sailor Galaxia Beryl stopped the attack before it reached Galaxia.
"I'll be back" Galaxia announced, "but I'll let Beryl and Endymion take care of you" She faded away and Beryl and Endymion grinned. The others arrived at that precise moment. Jadeite stepped up beside Princess Sailor Moon and they smiled. Both of them began to glow as they rose into the air. Beryl shielded her eyes as Endymion seemed to bathe in it. Beryl screamed as the light burned her skin and she exploded. Endymion's clothes turned white and he fell to the ground. He looked up to see Sailor Moon.
"You saved me" He said. She shrugged.
"Yes, I did" She said. she turned on her heel and rushed over to Kakyuu, who was in the arms of Seiya.
She announces that she will now go so she can watch their final futile efforts and return soon for all of their Star Seeds.
Chibi Chibi transformed into Sailor Chibi Chibi and held her hand. S
"You'll be okay" Chibi Chibi whispered, uttering the first words besides Chibi since she arrived.
The Light of Hope" Kakyuu whispered before disappearing. Princess Sailor Moon turned to Jadeite.
"Give me your sword" She said. Jadeite slowly handed her the sword.
"I will face Galaxia alone" She said. Everyone tried to protest.
"I could not live with myself if anything happened to any of you" She declared. "I am going and you can't stop me" She drove the sword into the earth causing a flash of the light. When the light was gone, so was she.
"What is going on?" Endymion asked. Everyone turned to stare at him, but it was Jadeite who punched him in the face.
