The Southern Air Temple, 101 AG
After what seemed like hours of fruitless searching, Aang had accomplished his mission. He stood in a room of cabinets lined from floor to ceiling. Trying to decide where to go first, his eyes caught on to one door in particular - a door carved with "DO NOT OPEN" in front.
This, of course, got Aang's attention. What could be so important to declare its cabinet should never be opened? It took him a minute, but Aang was able to pry the cabinet open - and was rather surprised at what he found.
He had been expecting gold, jewelry, or weapons - instead, Aang had simply found an old wooden mask. It looked more like an Earth Kingdom item, old and worn down. It had no ornamentation beyond a simple silver bar and holes cut for the eyes and mouth.
He turned it over, hoping to see something more interesting - nope. A dull green surface stared back at him. Aang could only hold his laughter back - this was it? This was so important to be kept in a box marked "Do not open"?
