Cybertron, a glowing gem of silver and blue, floating in the cosmos; home to the transformers a race of living machines that could shift from one form to another. For 5 million year the planet lived in a golden age of maths, science, technology and culture. The only thing that marred its beauty was the colossal arena dubbed 'The Pit' where games of gladiatorial combat were held. These events were brutal, staining the arena floor with oil and Energon. The greatest of these was a Transformer dubbed D-19. He was unstoppable, every match he fought in was a complete victory for him. Soon he became popular enough to gain followers; which allowed him to achieve his goal of having the ability to enforce a change. A change under his command.
Soon he and his forces now dubbed the Decepticon charged the high council chambers demanding they change according to him, but the councillors were unyielding. Leading to the last words they will ever here: I AM MEGATRON! After this event the Autobots were formed under the command of one of the last functioning Councillors: Sentinel Prime. The war stretched on and on, each day exhausting the planet's life blood. So much so that the various Cybertronian scientists tried to devise an alternate fuel source besides Energon. Megatron soon ransacked the Hall of Records for a way to finally gain the upper hand. He stormed in killing all of the data clerks and archivists there, all except for one: an Archivist named Orion Pax had been storing data about the golden age of Cybertron, just in the main archive before it was lost, only to catch the edge of a blast from Megatron's fusion cannon. Even then he managed to obtain a guard's blaster and fire abut at the Decepticon troops that were attack, holding a hand over his wound he tried to save the library, only to be blasted in the back by Megatron. His friends Sprite and Dion entered as well after seeing the chaos of the attack, only for them to be offlined by Megatron. Reaching out to them, Orion Pax finally passed out.
Sometime after the fight at the library, the other surviving councillor Alpha Trion and a repair crew quickly took the three young Cybertronians and reformatted them, turning them from working class Autobots to warrior class Autobots, including the greatest commander the Autobots had ever seen: Optimus Prime! With Optimus at the lead the Autobots started to push back against the forces of the Decepticons. Megatron while trying to offline Optimus had come to begrudgingly respect the opposing commander as he had quickly rose up the ranks. Among the Decepticon ranks were the mad scientist Shockwave, who had discovered two relics that were needed for victory: The Key to Vector Sigma and the Allspark. Megatron decided that with those two thing he could forge an army with which he would conquer Cybertron. In order to find them he deployed his Decepticon spymaster Soundwave to locate the relics and then he sent in his Air Commander Starscream to retrieve, only by the time Megatron found their location, they were gone along with the Alpha Trion. This was the turning point of the war!
"This is nuts Optimus!" an Autobot said
"I know that Ironhide, but we have no other choice, the Ark is the only way for us to survive." Optimus said
"But why?" Ironhide asked
"What if Megatron catches wind?" Ratchet asked
"I know Ratchet, however once we find a source of energon; we can regroup and try and get a counterattack ready" Optimus said
"Look, let me and Jazz scout out to see if Megatron has any inkling" Cliffjumper said, his red paintwork scratched from eons of warfare
"That's a good idea" Jazz said
"I don't know, I don't want to lose any more Autobots" Optimus said
Off to the side stood a yellow autobot, next to him was a pink and white coloured one
"so, B-127 You think they can pull this off?" Arcee asked
"I don't know, and I have a name: Sting!" B-127 said
"Not a good enough fit." a loud voice shouted
"Oh, come on! Not you too Bulk" B-127 said
"I'm sorry," Bulkhead laughed.
"Whatever" B-127 sighed "So we're really doing this, taking the big aft clunker through Shockwave's Space bridge?"
"Looks like it" Bulkhead said
"So, this is what plan Exodus was. I heard that Optimus only considered it a last ditch effort." Arcee said
"He did," a voice said making the three turn around and snap into a salute as Optimus' second in command Ultra Magnus
"Sir, what's the play?" Bulkhead said
"We were hoping to have a single fighter join the Aerialbots to escort the Ark to the bridge, but the Decepticon captured our fighter facility." Ultra Magnus informed them
"Why just a single fighter?" Bulkhead asked
"Because we have learnt that the portal will shut down after 10 ships goes through, Optimus wants to make sure that no Decepticon ships get through" Ultra Magnus said
"And by Decepticon ships, you mean the Nemesis?" Arcee asked
"Of course" Ultra Magnus nodded
"I'll do it" B-127 stated
"What?" Bulkhead asked
"I'll do it. I'm a scout sure, but I've logged several hours on the simulator" B-127 said
"Alright, but I'm assigning you a partner for this mission" Ultra Magnus sternly said
"Yes sir!" B-127 saluted.
"This is fragging crazy" B-127 said as he looked over the fighter compound, where several vehicons were guarding it "And yet here I am, doing this crazy slag"
"Easy B-127" his partner said as he looked through the scope on his sniper rifle
"I know Crosshairs, but just make sure my aft is still intact" the scout laughed
"Yeah, yeah I hear you, but what's up with those bombs?" Crosshairs asked
"You'll see" B-127 laughed as he transformed and drove around to the other side of the compound "Okay, here I go" he said climbing up a ladder that was
"You're not going down the ramp, are you?" Crosshairs asked
"Yeah, I am" B-127 smirked
"Blimey kid," Crosshairs groaned as he looked around "Though, considering what I am actually seeing, that may be the better idea."
"Why's that?" B-127 asked frowning
"Astrotrain, Shatter and Dropkick are guarding the entrance" Crosshairs said
"Great, just what we need, those glitch heads" B-127 groaned as he was now up the compound where he pulled something out and connected it to the ramp. "Oh I can't wait to see their faces" he chuckled
"Hurry up, we're burning energon here" Crosshairs said
"Yeah, yeah" B-127 said as he looked over at the launch pad "Hopefully the Exodus team is ready to roll out."
"Yeah and we need to do this quickly" Crosshairs snapped
"Then get going, I can handle this, I know you're only out here because Ultra Magnus asked you to" B-127 said
"And I have a mission, one I'm not going to stop because you got cold servos!" Crosshairs said
"Look I'm at the hangar, I'll get a fighter and get out and meet you at the bridge. We have less a megacycle until it takes off, and we need the Ark and the fight I grab to get through"
"Alright I'll head back, good luck B-127, and once we leave Cybertron, maybe you'll be able to get a better name" Crosshairs said packing up and leaving
"Unlikely," B-127 said
B-127 had made his way to the hangar and looked around
"NO ONE IS GOING TO GET IN HERE!" a voice boomed
"Dropkick" B-127 sneered. He hid behind a crate as the Decepticon walked past him, a small smirk formed on his face as he pulled out his blaster and aimed at a tower "Go fetch" he said firing a small bolt at it
"what was that?" Dropkick asked
"How should I know?" a vehicon asked
"Check it out!" Dropkick snapped "The last thing we need is an autobug around"
"We know, everyone knows as soon as their ship takes off, Megatron is going to use the Nemesis, fly after them, destroy the ship, use its navigational data to find the energon they discovered and use it to conquer cybertron" the vehicon said after Dropkick had run off after the sound. B-127 was concerned so he dashed as quickly as he could to the fighter bay where he met someone looking at the fighters
"Cosmos?" B-127 asked
"B-127?" Cosmos asked "you're the one they sent on this mission?"
"Yeah, I volunteered." B-127 said
"Okay, I got one fighter ready, It's a Novahawk class interceptor, they were used in pre-war law enforcements" Cosmos said
"I'll take it, look once I'm out of here evac quickly. Wheeljack gave me a bomb to level this place" B-127 informed him
"WHAT!" Cosmos exclaimed "Did he give you a buster?"
"I guess so" B-127 nodded, before he activated his commlink. "Arcee open a ground bridge to my location, Cosmos needs evac to the Ark"
"Cosmos, where is he?" Arcee asked
"I'm at the Fighter Bay, getting things ready" Cosmos said
"Alright, but you need to be quick, we only have 6 cycles until blast off and a swarm of Decepticons have arrived to rush the Ark" Arcee warned them
"Go, I'll be fine" B-127 said as the bridge to the Ark opened
"I Hope to see you on the other side" Cosmos said as he entered the bridge, making it close
"Till all are one" B-127 said as he got to the fighter and booted it up.
"Cosmos!" Ironhide shouted as he and Chromia ran up to him
"Where have you been?" Chormia asked
"Our Fighter Bay, the Vehicons took over before I could get out of there" Cosmos said
"Where's B-127?" Ironhide asked concerned
"He was the one to fly the fighter" Cosmos said
"What!" the other two Autobots asked
"Yeah, he also left a bomb from Wheeljack there, meaning" Cosmos started
"He's going to blow the yard and fly the mission" Chromia panicked
"Yeah he is; he volunteered for it" Cosmos said
"Great" Ironhide grumbled.
"Hopefully; he makes it" Chromia said looking out the window.
B-127 had gotten into the fighter and was ready for launch.
"okay this is it" he said as he tried to start the fighter only for its engine to sputter "Not now, I don't want the cons here, I need time" he grunted as he tried again
"Hey what was that?" a Vehicon said
"Scrap" B-127 shouted as he ducked down in the cockpit, the two Vehicons looked inside and saw nothing
"Must be hearing things" the other Vehicon said
"Yeah, not like a bug is in there trying to fly it" the first one said
"They're not that bright" the first Vehicon said
"Neither are you" B-127 said as he looked at the fighter and saw the reason "Slag, Cosmos you forgot to fuel it" getting out he quickly fuelled and started it up "YES!" he shouted
"There it is again!" the vehicons said
"Later slag-suckers" B-127 said as he quickly took off. The Vehicons tried shooting, but nothing came of it since the fighter had strengthened shields to go along with the enhance weapons and engines. Once he clear the hangar and got into the air, with a smirk B-127 detonated the bomb blowing the fighter bay up.
"ALL UNITS, PREPARE FOR LIFT OFF, REPEAT THE ARK IS LIFTING OFF IN 5 CYCLES" Teletraan 1 declared as the Autobots started to rush around
"Looks like B-127 was able to get the fighter off the ground" Ironhide said
"Yeah it does" Arcee happily said
"Sir!" a soldier ran up to them "Reports has just come in that the cons were prepping their ship"
"Thank you solider" Ironhide nodded and turned to Arcee "Inform Prime!"
"You got it!" Arcee said transforming into her vehicle mode and driving off. Ironhide then looked around as more of the Autobots rushed in; a sigh escaped as he looked out over the destroyed ruins of Iacon, for it much like Crystal City was destroyed
"HEY HIDE!" Bulkhead shouted
"what is it?" Ironhide asked
"Over head!" Bulkhead said as a single Novahawk fighter flew over
"B-127?" Ironhide asked
"that's what I'm guessing, he's heading for the space bridge now, good luck to the bot, hope he makes it" Bulkhead said
"So do I" Ironhide nodded
"Come on the Ark's about to take off and I don't want Optimus to leave us behind" Bulkhead pointed out
"You're square on the Energon with that one." Ironhide nodded.
B-127 flew across the landscape, looking down as blasts of purple and red energy lit up the torn streets of the different cities
"Time to end this" he said as he saw the Ark taking off. "This is Novahawk 17984 I can see the bridge portal, but I can also see a swarm of Vehicons on the way, better get your buttes over here Autobots" he said
"We understand B-127, on my mark" Optimus said
"Yes sir" B-127 said as he flew around "I was hoping to get one last round in at Maccadam's" he sighed as he watched the Ark get closer, and behind it was a dark purple sharp looking ship, one that B-127 recognised since he had to scout out what they were doing in the first place. "That's the Nemesis, but it looks like...What did they do?" he asked before opening a radio link to the Ark "Novahawk to Ark, Megatron has got some serious fire power!"
"We know Novahawk" Ironhide said
"No, you don't Ironhide! Megatron's battle cruiser; it was made from Trypticon!" B-127 said
"By the Matrix!" Ironhide exclaimed "Those mad bots actually turned a titan into a ship?!"
"Looks like it" B-127 frowned.
"I didn't think Shockwave's madness would go so far." Optimus growled
"That's the Nemesis?" Elita-One asked shocked
"They must have given him a new alt form and then yanked his T-cog and processor." Perceptor theorised
"Great, it was tough to beat him when he was awake" Bulkhead snapped
"Nevermind that, you have to get to the portal before the Nemesis does B-127" Optimus ordered "Otherwise we will lose this war!"
"Affirmative OP" B-127 said as he buzzed the Ark, "That has to have been Shockwave, that cyclopic freak needs to be fragged." He growled as he broke off
"The exodus starts now" Optimus said "If this fails, then all hope for Cybertron will be lost! Autobots, this is the most important mission we have ever partaken, now while all of us are not on this vessel, we carry the hopes and dreams of those we have left behind, but we will meet them again in the Well of the All-Spark; Till all are one" Optimus said
"TILL ALL ARE ONE!" the Autobots cheered
"Till all are one" B-127 chuckled as he flew ahead of the Ark, the space bridge up ahead. "Wow"
"it is impressive" Cliffjumper said
"Hard to imagine that Shockwave built it" Jazz said
"Quit the chatter, he comes some Seeker class" Ultra Magnus said
"I got them" B-127 said as he peeled off.
Flying quickly B-127 got behind the Seekers, and aimed at them, a smirk on his faceplate
"Hey Seekers, find this!" he taunted, firing the blasters at them, explosions coming off of the aircraft as they were directly hit. He chuckled as he pulled a loop as more flew past him. "This is too easy" just then bolts of purple energy flew at the Ark "NO!" he shouted before "Novahawk to Ark, are you hit?" he asked
"We're fine Novahawk" the voice of Optimus said. "It is thanks to you that we have reached the portal, and hopefully we will make it through before the Decepticons do"
"Don't worry Ark, I have a plan to make sure they don't" B-127 said as he headed back
"NO B-127!" Optimus shouted
"I'm sorry Optimus" B-127 said as he aimed at the portal emitter "I have to do this" he said as he aimed at it. "Computer will I make it?"
"There is a 49% chance that you will make it" the ship's computer said
"Well its better then I hoped" B-127 commented "Okay, full burn and prepare Sidewinders"
"Acknowledged" the computer said.
"WHAT IS HE DOING!" Bulkhead shouted
"Come on kid" Crosshairs panicked
"B!" Arcee cried out as they saw the Novahawk fire two missiles at the portal emitter
"Computer, how long could the portal stay stable without the emitter?" Optimus asked
"Space Bridge collapse in 15 cycles" the computer said
"That's not good" Bulkhead said "B, you have 15 to join us"
"Understood," B-127 said as he blasted the engines on the Nemesis "That should slow them down"
"JUST GET MOVING!" Arcee called out.
"Copy that" he said as he boosted the ship and flew after the Ark
"Optimus, we're currently 12 cycles out" Jazz said
"Understood" Optimus said as the Ark rocked, more shots impacting its shields
"Frag! We can't take another hit like that" Ironhide said
"Another shot and their shields are done for, then we can board their ship and take it!" a snivelling voice stated
"Silence Starscream" a grim voice ordered him "While they have taken damage, so have we"
"of course, Lord Megatron" Starscream bowed "shall I send out more Vehicons?"
"No" Megatron said, "we shall soon have them; fire at their engines!"
"Yes sir" a vehicon gunner said before they were rocked again
"They seem to be getting better with their aim" a cocky voice said
"Knockout, shouldn't you be in the medical bay?" Starscream asked
"Just wanted to see the view" Knockout said
"Well you've seen it, now get back to your assigned position you pom-" Starscream started only to be cut off
"LORD MEGATRON! They're at the edge of the portal" a Vehicon shouted.
"Set all engines to RAMMING SPEED!" Megatron ordered
"They're going to ram us!" Wheeljack panicked
"We're almost there, B!" Jazz shouted
"I'm at the docking bay" B-127 said as the docking bay hatch started to open
"2 cycles left!" Cliffjumper shouted
"We're going to make it" Arcee said as B-127 ran in
"Yes" he said as they entered the portal
"HOLD ON!" Optimus said as the Ark entered the portal and was shot across the Universe. The Nemesis had just entered the space bridge portal when it closed, half of their ship being shot across the universe after the Ark.
"WE'VE LOST POWER!" Wheeljack shouted as the ship trembled
"backup's down as well. We're fried" Jazz shouted
"Be calm, we will make it through this" Optimus said
"The Novahawk should still work" B-127 stated, racing to the docking bay
"B!" Arcee shouted.
"IS HE CRAZY" Bulkhead shouted
"I don't know!" Jazz shouted
"Okay this is dangerous, launching a fighter in a transwarp" B-127 said as he prepared to take off. But if I don't then we have no idea where we are" he looked nervous. "Oh well I may be a scout, but the others are more important them me. Especially Optimus" he said as he flew out, only to be thrown around by the sudden force of the gate. He tried to get his fighter to level out, but it was useless, since he saw the Ark fade away "NO!" he shouted as he suddenly exited the transwarp, his ship heavily damaged and was in a freefall. He looked where he was heading and saw it was a green and blue planet; he marvelled at it, having seen a planet like this
"B do you read, I repeat do you read?" Arcee asked over the radio
"Yeah barely" B replied "I'm in planet fall, what about the Ark?"
"Its damaged and currently near a ringed planet. Look, if you're in Planet fall; there is no guarantee that we will come get you." Arcee said
"I Understand" B said before the radio became static and he was looking at pillars of brown and green, a clear liquid nearby. "BRACING!" he shouted before he skidded along the ground, his fighter bouncing with each impact, that jostled him around. Soon the ship coming to ea stop making B-127 fly out of the cockpit and rolling n the floor. He got up and looked around "Where am I?" he asked before crashing to one knee, a message saying 'Emergency Alt Mode required' "Great he groaned, looking around; he's eyes coming to rest on a yellow vehicle with wheels looking nothing like he had seen before "Start scan" he said, trying to stay awake long enough to transform into the car "Start repair" were the final words he spoke before he entered stasis. Completely unaware at what would find him: A human!
G'day Guys Grizz here, and after 4 years, the Transformers arm of the Legacyverse is back in action, and considering that I used elements of the movies for plot points I'm here to tell you that this one uses Bumblebee as a base meaning it will be a sequel! The events of this fic take place when some of the adults are teenagers so sadly the Amaha children won't be in here. I'll probably use more G1 stuff in here as well before I take on the Legacy of the Lost sequel Roar of the Beasts (which is the official title) That being said I do not know how long this fic will last, I'm hoping that it will be no longer then ten but no shorter then five, and if it is five then it will be the shortest fic in the series yet...chapter wise anyway
