Hello, everyone! Finally, after all these years, I finally made the Little Dinosaur Girl II. Fair warning, it will be different from the movie, and it will be my version. Just a fair warning, this takes place after my story of the Little Girl Goes to Camp Cretaceous about one year has passed then. Val and Celestia are either eight or nine years old in the story.

In any case, enjoy the story.

WARNING: Contains spoilers in Jurassic World Dominion (You've been warned)

Jurassic World was at its finest, the park became a major success thanks to Val Grady. However, things started to escalate when Mount Sibo began to erupt. All the dinosaurs had to be sent to a secure island, where they could be safe from the disaster.

Yet evil still lurks in the park, and if it is not stopped, chaos will come to the world.

~Nine years ago~

Renaldo Mortem, a maniac and brilliant Scientist, was walking through the halls of a hidden laboratory underneath the Lockwood Manor. He has the reason to come here. No one from the outside knows that Mortem is well acquainted with Benjamin Lockwood. The reason for this visit was a...personal matter. Only he, Sir Benjamin Lockwood, and Eli Mills (Benjamin Lockwood's right hand man) knows about this special project that was so secret, not even John Hammond (Lockwood's former business partner) nor the government knows about this project, for it was confidential, only few can access.

Mortem soon enters a room that reveals a huge tank, filled with bluish liquid. Inside was a beast of unknown origin. It looks like a monster from a monster movie. It stood about 12 feet tall, and had four arms, a bladed tail like whip, a dragon-like head with two curved horns. Its scales consist of white, grayish green, and a hint of black.

It was asleep and computers and machines were monitoring its vitals. Few feet from the tank was an incubator. There in the center of the incubator lies a single egg, the same size of a raptor egg, but slightly bigger. Next to the incubator was a machine, it was connected to another machine. It was a small pod container that had a pipe connected to the machine.

"Mr. Mortem!"

Mortem turns around to see Eli Mills coming towards him with a chart in hand. He assigned Eli to keep an eye on the three assets. It is crucial that these assets must succeed, for the sake of Lockwood's legacy. Speaking of Lockwood, the Chairman of the Lockwood Foundation was standing inside (with a cane supporting him) staring at the third machine longingly, as if he was waiting for something to come out.

"How are the three assets?" Mortem asked, getting to the point of business.

Eli was surprised by this at first but quickly cleared his throat and showed him the chart, "Well...Project Golem and Asset 128 are both in stable condition." He explains to Mortem.

"And Project Gaia?" Mortem questions him further.

"She's stable...for now at least." Elli replied, earning a raised brow from Mortem, "We almost lost her vitals...she was unresponsive for a short while and...we fear the worst has yet to come."

Mortem responds with a hum, "Only a matter of time before she depletes again."

"What are we going to do?" Asked Mills, hoping to find a way to save the project.

"I'm already two steps ahead of you, Mills." Said the psychopath, snapping his fingers instantly.

One of his men came into the room, carrying a container of some kind. He hands it over to his boss before saluting him, and leaves. Mortem turns to Eli and explains what was inside the container, "Few years ago, I sent my top soldier to scavenge the deepest forest in Greece to find this rare flower."

He opens the container to reveal a beautiful golden flower that glows like the sun. Eli stares at it with dumbfounded and fascination. Wondering how the hell did he get this flower. Mortem made sure that this flower is delivered safely, for it has a secret power inside. In it was an unknown energy signature. His top scientists couldn't understand why this flower was emitting such a strange signature, but Mortem knew about this. He recalled a legend from old that Gaia, a primordial being of the Earth, created this flower. Legends say that this flower will give a pure soul the ability to control all the earth, including plant life. Many scientists would brush off this, believing it nothing more than a myth. But truth be told, it is very real. Mortem spent months searching for clues about this flower and its value. He was clever enough to find the location and sent a top soldier to retrieve it and he did. This single flower can give an individual the power of the Earth. However, this particular person must be a pure soul, which he nor any of his staff are pure souls. Except for one.

A newborn infant.

Newborns are considered sacred in historical cultures. Their innocent souls were the perfect host for the power within this flower. And not only that, it can cure any sickness within the host. It was only a matter of time for Mortem to finally use it for his project, he only needs now is the permission of the Chairman.

"How long has Lockwood been looking at Project Gaia?" Mortem questions Eli, closing the container.

Eli looks at Lockwood with a worried expression, "He's been there for at least an hour when we almost lost her."

"He's desperate." Mortem said, walking towards Lockwood in a calm expression, still carrying the container in his hands.

The old man didn't bother to look at him, he was too focused on the pod that has a precious life inside. Mortem knew very well who was inside the pod. Inside the pod was a small infant girl. She has a small patch of reddish-hair and her eyes remain close, continuing to drift in an endless slumber. The reason why this infant was in there is because she was genetically made to look exactly like Benjamin Lockwood's late daughter, Charlotte Lockwood.

A brilliant young woman, she had big dreams to become a scientist, wanting to change the world for the better. That is why she pursued a career in science, being taught by Dr. Henry Wu as her mentor, learning everything from him at InGen's Site B on Isla Sorna. Things were going great for Charlotte, until she reached her adulthood when doctors found out that she was diagnosed with a terminal genetic disorder that eventually took her life within the following years. Needless to say, this information broke Lockwood's heart to hear that his only child was going to die soon. He paid many doctors and top scientists from around the world to find a cure for his daughter, but all with the same results, Charlotte will not make it.

Even though this news was upsetting, it didn't stop Charlotte from continuing her work and dream.

During her stay in Isla Sorna, Charlotte believed a method of genetic recovery, she used the equipment at the original Jurassic Park to fill sequence gaps that could be adapted to cure many illnesses and diseases. This belief was put into practice when she did the most unthinkable.

She created a genetic clone of herself and gave birth to her.

It was a shocking development. Considering the fact that Charlotte is unable to have a child due to her being sterile. Yet she was determined to have a child if it meant going to great lengths to do so. She used her father's genetic technology in an attempt to create trials of creating a clone child of herself to give birth. It took months or maybe a year, but nonetheless, Charlotte succeeded in creating her genetically cloned infant in her womb. Although it was a joyful moment for Charlotte, but it was short lived when John Hammond soon discovered her intentions. Lockwood still recalls that day on how furious Hammond declares this to be "unholy" as he morally opposes human cloning. However, Charlotte refused to give up her dream of having a child and Lockwood defended Charlotte's actions, which caused both Lockwood and Hammond to end their partnership, with Benjamin residing at his manor in seclusion along with Charlotte's child, Maisie.

Charlotte spent a few months of her life to be with her daughter, cherishing every little moment she has left with her and her father. Until she became aware that her daughter also inherited her terminal genetic condition from her. Though it was too late to save her own life, Charlotte was able to use an altered pathogen as a delivery method for a repaired DNA sequence and rewrite every cell in Maisie's body, eradicating the terminal condition. Basically saving Maisie's life. Much to the relief of Charlotte and Lockwood.

Sadly, all good things come to an end when Charlotte dies in her sleep. Lockwood was devastated by his daughter's sudden death, but it didn't stop him from raising Maisie. Even though she's a clone of his daughter, Lockwood accepts her as his granddaughter. He raised Maisie along with Iris Carroll. She's a longtime employee, both housekeeper and a former nanny of Charlotte. The two shared a strong bond together. Ms. Carroll cares a lot about Charlotte, but was devastated when she found out that Charlotte was dying. Ms. Carroll made a promise to Charlotte before her death, Charlotte, even in her dying state, asked her nanny to watch over Maisie as she did to her. Ms. Carroll agrees to take care of Maisie. And making sure that she nor anyone else finds out about the truth.

Raising Maisie was the most important thing for both parties. However, things started to change when they noticed Maisie was barely moving. Charlotte's genetic sequence may have saved her daughter's life, but something was wrong with Maisie. He asked his private scientists to figure out what was wrong with Maisie. It took a while to find the problem. Turns out, they discovered that Maisie may be a perfect clone of the original Charlotte. Her body was slowly shutting down, like if the clone body may not last long. She may have Charlotte's genetic sequence that saved her life, but Maisie will soon end up having locked-in syndrome. Where an individual is conscious and awake, but has no ability to produce movements, (other than outside of eye movement) or to speak.

Desperate to find a way to save his granddaughter's life, he attempted to call Henry Wu, until he had an unexpected visitor from the most feared and dangerous man alive.

Renaldo Mortem

Mortem learned about Lockwood's genetically cloned daughter, and became intrigued by her. He gave Lockwood an offer that he cannot refuse. He will save Maisie on one condition; he wanted to create two assets that would benefit his research as well as making good income for the Lockwood Foundation. At first, Lockwood didn't want to, thinking it was a bad idea, not wanting his company to spill blood by the hands of this madman. However, Eli intervenes saying that it could benefit both parties, which includes saving Maisie's life. Lockwood didn't want to. God knows how Lockwood really didn't want to. He would've been happy if he just contacted Wu to save Maisie. Yet was running out of time and he needs Maisie to be alive and well.

So, without any choice, Lockwood agrees for Mortem to save his granddaughter and will allow him to create his assets.

Mortem was satisfied by the outcome and began preparations. He places Maisie in a pod to stabilize her body, allowing her to rest and preventing any damages that might come. Mortem then proceeds in creating his newer assets. Those were a hybrid dinosaur and an unknown draconic being. He allowed Eli to monitor his every move, considering that Mortem easily manipulates him to be a very greedy man and shows him the 'right way' in handling a business, which Eli listens to him gladly.

Back to the task in hand, Mortem looked over to a tired looking man and spoke in a cold yet stern tone, "The two assets are complete, now all I need is to put this item into your...'granddaughter's' body in order for her to properly grow like a normal child."

"And are you sure it won't damage her?" Lockwood asked softly, not taking his eyes off the pod.

"Quite the opposite actually, it will give her a gift that no child could ever possess." Mortem assured the old man, "All I need is your approval."

Lockwood continues looking at the pod longingly, thinking of the little life inside. Shutting his eyes, Lockwood releases a sigh from his nose and looks at Mortem with weak yet serious eyes. "Do what you have to do." He approved.

Smirking, Mortem went over the pod and told Eli to move Sir Lockwood away, for what he was about to do would may be dangerous for the old man's wellbeing. Eli helped Lockwood out from the lab while Mortem placed the container in the machine attached to the pod. Once it was inside, it opened by itself and the flower floated inside the glass container. Mortem typed in some codes in the computer before pressing the approval button. He quickly backs away and puts on protective goggles as the flower is being absorbed by the machine and into Maisie's body. The little infant squirms in her sleep, feeling itchy at the sudden changes. Suddenly, the machine started creating sparks of gold and green energy, causing Mortem to take cover when an electrical wave came out and hit the tank that has the draconic being. The electricity consumed through the tank, causing the water to boil and the glass to crack. The egg inside the incubator started to crack, the little hatchling inside was trying to break free as it heard all the commotion from its egg-prison. Mortem tried to stop it but the computers started to go haywire, forcing Mortem to shield himself when sparks erupted through the computer.

Soon, the glass shattered, sending shards flying. Mortem took cover while Mills and Lockwood were shielded by the glass window, shocked and horrified by this outcome. The draconic creature stood tall, touching the ceiling with a massive head and antlers. Its glowing red that shines like hell-fire was scanning the room, emitting sounds that resembled the grumble of an Orangutan. Mortem, Eli, and Lockwood couldn't move, they were in shock to see such a massive creature was just looking around, searching for something. Eli has a dreaded feeling that this creature was going to destroy them in a heartbeat if they make a wrong move.

They were interrupted when they heard a loud shrill like shrike from the incubator. The draconic being's red eyes glanced over to the incubator and saw a small black dinosaur hatchling. It was small but slightly bigger than a raptor hatchling. It bears a strikingly similar appearance to the Indominus rex, but its body length is about half of that of I. Rex. It sports talons that are similar to those of a Velociraptor, and its color is primarily black with a golden-yellow streak running from the base of the neck to his tail. It possesses hands with four fingers, an opposable thumb and three main digits. The shape of its head bears a resemblance to that of a Tyrannosaurus rex, and has a sprinkled red mark around the eye orbit. The skin around its mouth is flaky and peeling away in some areas. Its mouth is also sickly-looking, with ragged teeth similar to those of the Indominus rex. Its head also bears two crests above his hellfire eyes, similar to that of an Allosaurus, but a little smaller.

The hybrid lets out a wail like shriek. It attempted to walk but due to it being a newly hatch hybrid, it lost its balance and fell onto his stomach, calling for help. The draconic being ignored the men and went to the hatchling with a rumble. The hatchling quickly stops its cry before it looks up, and makes eye contact with the creature. The draconic being blinks and the hatchling blinks back, staring at one another. The hatchling chitters once more and attempts to stand up, almost falling face first if not for the fast reflexes of the draconic being. It uses one of its hands to catch the hatchling gently without hurting it. The raptor hybrid made chirping sounds of excitement, wagging its tail when it was brought closer to the giant's face. The two sniffed at each other, being familiar with their scent. The hatchling chirps and bumps his head on the snout of the draconic creature, who warbles in response before gently bumping his snout with the hatchling, who shrieks happily.

Mortem stared at this with a wide grin, eyes narrowed with a twisted sense of happiness. The two of his creations are shown to be very intelligent. His hybrid raptor has imprinted on his draconic creation, believing that it is its caretaker. He was interrupted by a loud cry that belonged to the infant Maisie. The baby girl was crying loudly in her pod. She heard all the loud commotion and was terrified out of her mind.

Eli and Lockwood became terrified when they saw the draconic creature with four arms (while carrying the hybrid hatchling with its free hand) was heading towards the pod. Eli was about to call security but was stopped by Mortem.

"Stop!" He orders him in a quiet yet harsh tone. "Don't call security! It will kill anyone that is a threat to it."

Eli was at a loss. He couldn't call security for back-up. He and Lockwood helplessly watched as the draconic being was heading towards the pod. Without even lifting a single claw, the pod's hatch opened by itself (startling the men in the process), as it saw the crying infant inside.

Maisie's face was red and her eyes filled with tears. She was scared of the noises from the safety of her pod. Her crying turned into hiccups when she felt something looking at her. Opening her blue eyes (with a hint of green that surrounds the pupil), the infant looks up at the beast and the hybrid dinosaur-who was wagging its tail at the sight of a new pack member-and slowly began to calm down. The draconic being made gentle rumbles, lowering its head to sniff at the infant's small and frail body. The baby made cute giggles when she felt the draconic being snout on her skin. She burst into laughter when it licked her cheek. Without a warning, her chubby hands grabbed its snout, letting out baby gurgles. The creature was taken aback by this sudden grab, as it didn't expect to be grabbed like this. However, its surprise soon vanished when the infant began giggling uncontrollably.

The draconic being's eyes stared at the infant for a short while as a strange and unusual feeling was coursing through its mind. The baby continues to gurgle, nibbling his snout with her mouth. The creature's eyes began to soften, its color changing from red to glowing green, as it let out a gentle purr. Without a moment of hesitation, the creature used one of its massive hands to pick up the infant from her nest gently, and held her in its palm. Maisie made gurgling noises of curiosity. The hybrid raptor saw the baby and shrieked to get her attention. It snakingly got up from its feet and attempted to climb on to the creature's arm, so it could get closer to Maisie. The creature prevented the small hybrid from climbing its arm. Instead, it brought the little hybrid close to Maisie, but keeping a close eye on it. The black hybrid made chittering sounds as it sniffed the infant curiously. Her scent was very sweet and squishy looking. The hatchling attempted to nip her but the creature moved its hand to prevent it from biting the infant. It somehow knew very well that Maisie has delicate skin and can be easily pierced by the hybrid's teeth. The creature made some sounds with its throat, as if it was telling the hybrid not to nip the child. And to everyone's surprise, the hybrid obeyed and plops to its stomach while staring at Maisie, making chattering sounds.

The creature made another warble before going towards a spot with no computers or technology. The three men watched with mixed expression as the creature made itself comfortable, lying on the floor and bringing the two small creatures close to it. Baby Maisie and the hybrid made noises, until they were lulled to sleep when the creature began making soft rumbles that sounded like music, before falling asleep.

"What the hell just happened?!" Mills asked in shock. He couldn't believe his eyes! This...this thing...just took Maisie and...It took care of her!

"I knew it..." Mortem whispers with a wicked grin. "It accepted them."

Even though they're at the other side of the room with a glass window separating them, Sir Lockwood gave Mortem a confused yet enraged look, "You knew?!"

"I have some theories, but Project Golem has instinctively become a guardian to both Asset 128 and Pro-" Mortem quickly cleared his throat to correct himself with his words, knowing very well how attached Lockwood is to his granddaughter, "...And Maisie. Furthermore, both she and Asset 128 believe that Project Golem is their caretaker."

"Wait, are you saying they think it's their-what? Father?"" Eli asked in disbelief.

Mortem simply shrugs his shoulders, "Father, brother, or uncle, either way. The three of them share a symbiotic bond."

"Meaning?" Lockwood asked Mortem, hoping to get a good answer.

"Both Project Golem and Asset 128 are now bound with Maisie. They will protect her from any danger or disaster. For she is now part of their pack."

Lockwood sighs in relief on the news. Even though these creatures may look scary, he knows that they will keep Maisie safe, and keep her company if she is lonely. Eli, on the other hand, was more interested in selling the creatures into an auction. He believes they are the new line of defense or weapons for anyone that pays a high price. Mortem was also thinking the same thing. Well, not selling them, more like weaponizing them in his personal army. He knows both his experiments may not listen to him or be controlled. Therefore, he thinks of the next big thing, he is going to make them by controlling Maisie. The little infant may be small now, but in a few years, she will grow, and Mortem will take her away and brainwash her, making her loyal to him and both assets will follow her willingly.

"By the way..." Eli began, cutting Mortem of his trance, "What is the hybrid called exactly? You know...since it is a new species, it's gotta have a name, right?"

Mortem nodded his head and looked at the sleeping raptor hybrid, curled next to a sleeping Maisie with the giant creature watching over them. "It does have a name."

"...What's it called?"

Mortem smirks and says the hybrid's name with pride and full of confidence, "It is called...the Indoraptor."

So, what do you guys think? I did my best with the chapter. I tried to think of a good explanation or idea about this. Considering I'm lacking inspiration. Also, Maisie's power will be revealed soon.

I will post the next chapter soon, until then, have a good day.
