A/N: So sorry it took me forever to update. I've been busy and no computer. I'm having to use t he library's computers to update. Here is chapter 4!

Mmmm... Pancakes.. Well that is what ran through Castiel's mind, such gushy deliciousness. Dean and Sam were a bit surprised to see that Cas was eating like he never was fed before. Cas looked to the men blinking. Was he doing something wrong? The brothers laughed some and Sam shook his head.

"Dude.. Slow down or you'll choke." Sam said laughing, Castiel nodded. He should calm down, before he upsets one of the boys. Dean sighed and looked to Sam, the taller male shrugged a bit.

"If he's hungry he's hungry. He probably never tried pancakes before." Dean offered and Castiel nodded. Pancakes were fluffy and warm and covered with a sticky condiment called syrup. After breakfast Cas settled with drinking some orange juice. It was a good morning for sure! Pancakes and orange juice. But he knew he had one thing he knew he HAD to do. Kiss Dean Winchester and he'll be with him forever! Two nights and two days left! Once he was cleaned up, since he had syrup ALL OVER him and he went with the brothers to meet up with Bobby.

Cas liked Bobby, he was a bit harsh but he was shockingly nice to Cas. Like he was trying hard to get along with him. Which they did. The four of them were on the bridge chatting and Castiel just nodded to some questions, shook his head to some as well. This was gonna be much harder to get Dean alone... He never leaves Sam's side at all. He was surprised to see him in the bed with him but Cas enjoyed being close to Dean. He was a great guy.

Gabriel and Balthazar swam under the bridges and by the walkways near the ocean to keep an eye on their brother. Gabriel frowned and looked to Balthazar.

"We gotta set the mood!" Gabriel said determined and Balthazar looked to his brother.

"Mood for what?" Balthazar asked than realized what he meant, "Oh! Maybe get them to shore?"

"Brilliant idea~ Tonight let's talk to Cas~"

It was sun set and Castiel and Dean sat on top of Baby. Looking out into the shore. From where they sat it was the parking lot of the beach. Cas looked to Dean and hesitated to take the male's hand. But he didn't. God he was so scared. They barely knew each other but Cas wanted to be close to Dean. They were alone after all as Sam, Bobby, Garth, and Benny did some merman hunting by the shore. Dean looked to Castiel Seeing how is eyes glew a beautiful blue, his short messy dark brown hair glew a natural oak color. Dean cleared his throat as he blushed catching Cas' attention.

"You like the water?" Dean asked and Cas nodded, "Come on let's go for a walk." Dean said and hopped off the hood. Cas followed and Dean showed Cas it was okay to walk on the sand bare foot, not bare naked. As the two walked, without both realizing they took one another's hands. Walking by the shoreline, Cas smiled and pointed to the sunset. Dean smiled, though Cas was mute Dean understood what he meant and what he was trying to say.

"Yeah.. It's nice huh?" Cas nodded to Dean's question and the two locked eyes. Just stared, "Wow.." Dean said breathlessly to Cas' eyes. If only Cas could say the same to Dean. The freckled male had beautiful emerald green eyes that shined bright in the sunset. The two continued to stare at one another and they leaned in to kiss, this was it! Cas was gonna kiss Dean and he could have his voice and love him forever! But the moment was cut short when Sam threw a rock at his brother.

"HEY!" Sam said walking up, "Don't get mushy it's gross!" Sam said and Dean threw the rock back and huffed. The tall male laughed and Cas frowned seeing the sun had already set. He's loosing precious time! He would really want to kiss Dean.. And Dean was going to kiss him! He needs to work harder on trying to get Dean to kiss him and it better be soon!

Castiel was looking at one of the many things that are called magazines in the hotel room. One was about dating and how to be a good kisser. Humans actually have these kinds of things? Cas continued to read it not hearing the door open and it happened to be Dean. Dean sighed and looked to Cas.

"Hey... Look um... Don't worry about what happened yesterday..." Dean sighed, "It's just.." He looked to Cas again who was giving the kicked puppy look, "Don't look at me like that..!" Dean frowned and Cas looked down. He didn't have much time! He wished he could just tell Dean he was a merman and he was in love with him and got legs by giving his voice away. But he couldn't. He's as bad as lying as he was writing. Dean sighed and took the magazine seeing what Cas was reading, "Cas you don't need this..." Cas puffed his cheeks.

'I do it by choice!' Castiel thought and Dean sighed and sat the magazine down.

"I'm sorry Cas but no.." Dean said and left leaving a dumfounded and heart broken Castiel. He shook his head.

'No... No Dean no..!' Cas thought and got up and just started at the door that Dean left out of, 'Don't go...' Castiel felt tears fill his eyes as is site became blurry, curling into a ball on the floor as he silently cried as he did before back home.

Home... That's where he'll go once he gets his voice back... Or he'll die... Whatever comes first... Cas continued to cry till he heard a voice looking up.

"Cas..?" Sam had just entered the room, setting his things down, "Cas what's wrong..?" He asked again and Cas looked down sniffing, he decided to tell Sam. Sam might help! Yeah! He wrote down everything. His situation and everything. Sam read the chicken scratch of hand writing and got a worried look to Cas, "I'm sorry.. I.. If I knew I wouldn't.. Have you told Dean you're a merman...?" Cas shook his head, "No surprise.. I can't believe it.. One.. You saved Dean and gave your voice to this... Sea witch for legs.. Now you only... Got one night and one day.." Cas nodded and Sam sighed, "I'll help anyway that I can. Okay?"

'Okay... thank you Sam..' Cas thought and smiled. Sam smiled back. Cas liked Sam as much as he liked Bobby. Sam was very kind. More kind than Dean but he was in love with the handsome freckled man.
