My life was short
But my spirit stayed behind.
My friends left
And I couldn't blame them.
But, my life changed
When I met her.
She joined me in the darkness
and I helped her survive.
She loves me
and I love her
It was better this way.
She left me
and I knew we would meet again
When it was her time to go.
But, she was gone when I escaped
and now I was alone again.
She told me we would be together
but..Destiny stole her from me...
My world was dark again
Even after I left the darkness.
It didn't matter that I left
For I just wanted to see her again.
