"Oh merlin! Mione that dress is stunning!" Ginny screamed in excitement as she watched hemione spin around. "I love it, this is the one I want, but don't you think its a bit expensive?" Hermione smiled at herself in the mirror but turned towards ginny. "Hermione, Draco gave you his gringotts card. Who cares for merlin sake!" And with that hermione let out a big cheesy smile and headed to the changing rooms to remove it.
"Mione' if you don't hurry up we're going to be so late!" Draco called though the bathroom door. He was wearing a very expensive tailored suit with a deep red bow tie Eden had bought for him.
Another ten minutes passed before Draco heard the bathroom door open from the wardrobe. Hermione walked out and in all honesty he had never in his life seen her this flawless. he couldn't help but stare.
She wore a diamond encrusted one strap blood red dress that flowed down to the floor and had a 5 inch train at the back.
At the back of the dress their was a slit that cut right down her back to the top of her bum, showing off her beautifully toned back. She tied the outfit off with a pair of seven inch red diamond encrusted platform heels. Her hair, that she had charmed into a light brown was in a long fishtail plait falling down her right shoulder, she tied that of with her daughters diamond hair pin she borrowed from her. A small smile laced her lips as she walked away from his arms to grab her purse from the bed. she took one last look in the mirror before she made her way back to him, she took his hand without a word and apparated away.
They appeared seconds later in the living room of 12 Grimmauld Place with a soft landing, " ah! There you two are, if you were any later we would of missed the ball completely! Merlins beard 'mione you look gorgeous!" Harry exclaimed as he kissed both of her cheeks and shook dracos hand before leaning in for a manly hug. "I'll just fetch Gin, and we'll be off!" He said happily as he left the room. "I love you too Draco" hermione whispered into dracos ear, the feeling of her hot breath made his pants stir. "She's right Red you look lovely!" Draco said as he gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Cheers ferret you look handsome yourself" she replied with a massive smile. "Well shall we get going then? we've been advised to take the floo network tonight so, Gin have you got everything? I don't want to be coming back because you forgot your lip gloss or something?" He said cheekily as ginny scowled at him. "Yes, dear" she said nastily with a smile on her face still. They moved towards the fireplace, which Harry and Ginny stepped in first. Harry grabbed a handful of floo powder shouted "MINISTY OF MAGIC!" And disappeared behind the green flame. Draco and Hermione followed behind repeating their actions, disappearing behind the green smoke they reappeared in one of the many fireplaces. Stepping out they made there way towards the hundreds of reporters waiting. "Miss Granger! Miss Granger! Did you know you were voted number 1 most sexist women of the year?" Bright flashing lights filled the entrance of the ministry. "Mr Malfoy, sir, is it true you left you long time girlfriend Astoria because you had an affair?" Hermione smiled politely at the cameras with draco at her side holding her waist. They stood for a minute before moving away from the reporters and made there way towards the lift, pressing number 14, the lift gave a jolt and began moving fast towards its destination. It came to a stop and they stepped out and made their way towards harry. The arena was decorated in beautiful white drapes and high ice sculptures, at one end their was tables and chairs and at the other there was a huge dance floor with a big band, who was currently seated on the stage above. People stared at hermione in awe as she passed, which made draco's grib a little tighter around her waist as he sneered at everyone who even looked at his girlfriend. "Well shall we find our table then!" Harry said as he lead the way with Ginny towards the hundreds of circular tables, finally finding their table Harry, Ginny, Draco and Hermione sat down just as the minister of magic appeared on the stage. "Welcome ladies and gentlemen! To the annual ball of the ministry! We would like to thank you all for coming and that you would have a wonderful evening, so with out further delays, please enjoy your feast!" And with that everyone clapped in appreciation, and the dinner appeared on the plates in front of them. Dinner was a success everyone cleared there plate and was in a joyful mood. The rest of the evening followed in a brilliant success everyone had got up onto the dance floor one time or another to have a dance to the performing band. It wasn't until 12oclock Hermione decided it was time she and Draco left, bidding goodbye to a tipsy Harry and a very drunk Ginny they apparated back to hermiones bedroom.
"Wow, I forgot how much fun things like this was!" Hermione said as she sank into her bed and took of her shoes. Draco seizing this opportunity quickly removed his shoes, socks and jacket and made his way towards the bed. Let's get ready we need to go and see Harry and Ginny today" she gave him a short kiss and walked to the shower to turn it on, dropping her dressing gown around her ankles she smirked towards draco. "You're welcome to join me"
