I would just like to say a massive thankyou to Rose Davis for helping me on this chapter!
It's been 2 months after the ministry ball and christmas was around the corner. "Draco? We have two weeks until Ede comes home and I would like to make the house look a little presentable!"
Hermione moaned as she looked around her living room with slight disappointment. She has always liked to decorate ever since she left hogwarts. She sighed as she looked over to Draco, who looked to involved with the daily profit to hear her. "Dracoo? Draco seriously!" Hermione screamed angrily before storming out the room.
Draco was in deep thought wonder what could possible be the matter with Hermione. One minute she was fine they would be talking, laughing, and then a smell or the sight of something would automatically make her sick to her stomach. This had been going on for about six weeks now. Just as Hermione yelled his name he snapped out of his thought. "Yes I hear you Mione. We will go and get a tree and decorations after lunch."
"Thank you. Where has you mind been lately?"
"No where just thinking about what to get you and Eden for Christmas is all." That was a lie but he had to say something. This wasn't the first time she has caught him in deep thought. He watched as she walked to the kitchen and began to make lunch but as she was looking in the refrigerator she pulled out some old take- out cartons and she looked in one to discover that it had went to the bad and as the smell over took her she hurried to the bathroom near the living room and began to throw up. Draco got up to check on her.
"Hermione are you all right." He knew she wasn't because she looked horrible.
"I am ..." she couldn't even get the words out of her mouth before the second bout of nausea overtook her. Draco walked up behind her and began rubbing her back for what it seemed like the millionth time. "Mione this has been going on for to long now, maybe its time we go to St Mungos for a check up or something?" Hermione whipped round causing Dracos wrist to twist in an awkward fashion.
"You know what Malfoy, I don't need you telling me what to do!" She stood up and glared at him crossing her arms over her chest. "Hermione I just wanted to he-"
"Help? Your idea of help Draco is rubbing my back like I'm some sort of dog!" She let out a cruel laugh and nudged him out of the way of the door. Draco stalked behind his anger boiling up inside. "Well if you stop throwing up every ten seconds maybe I won't have to treat you like an animal? You have these constant mood swings; one moment you're happy and talkative then the next you're like this! I just can't take it!" Draco's voice raising to a shout as he finished. Hermione stopped in her tracks and turned around, sneering at him. "Well, If you can't take it anymore Draco why are you still here, I'm not stopping you from leaving? You know what? Just get the fuck out of my house!" She yelled at the top of her voice and stomped upstairs to her bedroom. Draco followed her, running up the stairs two at at time and into the bedroom where he found hermione packing some of his things he left round. "'Mione, I'm not leaving, I'm not going anywhere" he said softly. "What do you mean you're not leaving!? I told you to get out of my house? Now go!" She yelled thrusting his things into his hand. Draco set his things onto the floor and rubbed his eyes with his fists. "Hermione, I'm not going anywhere" he repeated calmly looking at her bright red face.
"Fine!, fine then if you won't go.." Hermione walked over to her fireplace took some snoot out of the bowl. "I will, 12 GRIMMAULD PLACE" she shouted, draco got one more look at hermiones now tear streaked face before she disappeared behind the green flames.
Hermione watched Draco as the flames over took her. In her mind all she could think about was why was she so angry at him. He was just worried about her. Then a single thought popped in her head. 'This is just like last time.'
