Macey's POV
"Oh my god! We can't find Cammie and Zach anywhere!" Liz cried.
"Don't cry Lizzie, we just have to keep trying." Bex told her. "And eventually, we'll find them." Liz cried louder.
"Eventually? How is that going to help?" Jonas said defensively.
"Listen dude, tell your girlfriend to shut up so we can concentrate!" Grant shot back.
"Why don't you shut up?" Jonas exclaimed.
"SHUT UP ALREADY!" I exploded and everyone looked at me.
"I'm glad I don't have a boyfriend. They can be a pain in the butt…" I scoffed. "We really need to find them. What I'm worried about most is that note Cammie left us."
"That note…" Bex yanked the note out of her pocket. "I'm so sorry…" She read sadly.
"Why would she apologize at a time like this…?" Liz said between stifles. "She didn't even do anything wrong…"
"Or maybe… Something she will do that's wrong…!" Bex shouted.
"Like what? Have s-" I started.
"NO!" They all exclaimed in unison.
"Fine then." I said sarcastically.
"Something worse than that…" Jonas muttered.
"Like… Turning Zach in?" Grant asked.
"She would never do that… Unless it's for a reason." Bex answered.
"Forget about why, we need to find her." I piped.
"Kay, let's go." The boys said and lead the way.
Zach's POV
"Oh my god, where the hell am I?" I muttered when I got up. I'm in a bed… How did I get here? Was this all, but a dream? Are we in the Gallagher Academy?
"My dear, you're awake…" A bitter voice whispered and I backed up in shock.
"Who's there?" I demanded.
"Oh boy… You don't recognize the voice of your mother?"
"I tried not to…" I muttered.
"Heard that…"
"Where's Cammie?" I looked around.
"I don't know, you tell me." My mother said evilly.
"Where… is… she?" I repeated slowly.
"Like I said… You tell me…" She responded back.
"Damn you…"
"Now dear… that's not very nice…"
"I can say whatever I want… What did you do to my girlfriend?" I asked again.
"Nothing… As of yet…"
"What?"
"She turned herself in. So I can help you of course. She would do anything just to help you… I would've helped you even if she didn't turn herself in…" My mother chuckled.
"WHERE IS SHE?!"
"Look at the time, I gotta go. To get rid of the other Gillian sisters…" She laughed and slammed the door.
I was tied to a bed… Now what do I do? How can I warn the others?
FLASHBACK
Still Zach's POV
After Cammie kissed me, she helped me up. Her eyes were filled with sadness, but then she smiled when she saw me looking at her.
"I don't know what to do Zach…" She muttered and pulled out a crumbled piece of paper and a pen from her pocket. She wrote something down and laid it on the floor. What is she doing? I asked myself as she picked up a rock and sat it on that note. "Let's go." She said.
"Where to? What about the others?" I asked.
"Don't worry about them… You'll see them soon enough." Cammie smiled.
"Cammie what are you talk-" I started, but then something hard hit the back of my head and I started falling forward.
The last person I saw was my Gallagher Girl, with tears in her eyes. I last heard her saying, "I'm sorry Zach, forgive me…" Then I fell into her arms.
END OF FLASHBACK
Zach's POV
"What did she do?" I asked myself. "Why was she sorry? Did she really turn herself in? Am I going to lay here forever? How can I help Cammie, the others, and myself? Without my mother noticing…."
(Knock x2)
"Leave me alone…" I shouted, thinking it was my mother.
"Zach?" A familiar voice called.
"Cammie?" I stuttered and saw her walking in. She sat on my bed and looked at me.
"Are you ok?" She asked.
Wow… No sign of panic… "Yeah… You?" I inquired.
"Sure…" Cammie shrugged. Something's wrong…
"Are you sure?"
"Yup."
"Hmm… Ok then… Oh yeah! Cam, untie me, we gotta save the others! My mom's gonna try to kill them! I don't know how, but she needs to be stopped." I panicked and saw her smile. "Gallagher Girl?" Then I noticed her eyes. They were green…
"Zach, I'm so disappointed… It took you a very long time to notice who I am… Attending the Gallagher Academy For Exceptional Young Women really paid off… Perhaps I can kill them after all… If I can trick my own son, I can trick her friends…" My mother chuckled. "I can disguise myself too you know…"
"Where's Cammie!?" I demanded, close to tears. "What are you going to do with her?!"
"You'll see Zach… If she doesn't do what she promised, she will be dead!" She walked towards the door, opened it, and then looked at me again… "Forgive me Zach." She mimicked Cammie's voice and laughed loudly. She walked out of the door, and her bitter voice left me with the darkness.
