"Okay, I called the caterer and the bakery, and they confirmed everything's gonna be delivered on time," Sam said. "Carly gets here tonight, my mom and the rest of my family are flying in Friday like the rest of your people. The weather's supposed to be perfect, the girls look great in their bridesmaid dresses, my dress fits fine, my-"

"Baby, relax," Freddie said to Sam, wrapping his arms around her. "The wedding's going to be just fine."

"It just seems so close now, with Melanie here already," Sam sighed. "It's less than a week away."

"You nervous?" Freddie asked.

Sam looked up and smiled at him. "No. Because no matter what goes wrong at the wedding…it's gonna end with us being married."

"Aw," Freddie grinned. "That sounded so cheesy you'd think I said it."

"Shut up," Sam laughed, swatting his shoulder playfully.

"Hey, where is everybody?" Freddie asked. "The place seems…quiet."

"Melanie and Ben took the girls and Ben out for ice cream," Sam said. "They went to some fancy place on the other side of the city."

"Oh," Freddie nodded.

"Which means…" Sam said, lacing her arms around Freddie's neck. "We have the place to ourselves for at least another hour. You get what I'm saying?"

"I thought we were going to wait until our wedding night," Freddie said reluctantly. "Isn't that what you said last week?"

"Ugh, way to kill the moment, Fredwash," Sam sighed.

"I mean if you really want to," Freddie chuckled. "I'm more than happy to. But we are only five days away from the big day…"

"Yeah, yeah," Sam said, rolling her eyes. "I guess. But I'm already pregnant. It's not like we're fooling anyone."

"Oh! Speaking of the baby," Freddie said. "I picked up some parenting books for us while I was out today."

"What? Why'd you get those?" Sam asked.

"Oh I thought I'd just use them as decoration in the bedroom," Freddie said.

"Okay sarcastic," Sam smirked.

"I learned from the best," Freddie said, giving her a quick kiss. "But really baby, don't you think it'd be nice to read them?"

"Um, not really," Sam said. "What's a book gonna do to teach you how to parent? Besides, I've raised kids before."

"Yeah, you have," Freddie sighed. "I haven't."

"What are you talking about? You've helped out so much with Kira and Leah," Sam said, putting her arm around him.

"For two whole years of their lives, sure," Freddie shrugged. "I didn't raise them. That was all you. I don't know the first thing about babies or toddlers or-or anything."

"You'll be fine," Sam assured him. "But fine, go ahead and read your books if that'll make you feel better. I know that's what nubs do; they try to find the geekiest answers to their problems."

"Ha, ha," Freddie said, getting to his feet. "I will go read."

Sam rolled her eyes as Freddie retreated into the bedroom. She didn't know why he was so nervous about being a father; anyone with eyes could tell you he was bound to be a great one.

Their baby was going to be really lucky to have him in his or her life.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Sam headed over and opened up, finding Caleb standing in her doorway.

"Hey," she greeted her partner. "What's up?"

"Nothing much," Caleb said. "Viv has a bunch of her girlfriends over and I couldn't take hearing another story about stretch marks and chocolate cake and whatever else middle-aged women go on about, so I thought I'd swing by. The girls home?"

"Nah, my sister took them out," Sam said. "They're getting ice cream and then they're gonna try and fine the 'perfect earrings' for their dresses for the wedding on Saturday."

"Ah, so you're all alone right now?"

"Practically, Freddie's busy reading some lame parenting book," Sam said. "I was gonna get started doing the place cards for the reception."

"Oh, I guess I'll get out of your hair then," Caleb said.

"Nah, I could use a break," Sam grinned. "Come on, Kira just got some new videogame that looks pretty cool, but no one will ever play it with me."

"You're a child," Caleb chuckled, but headed towards the T.V. anyway.

"So, you got married before," Sam said, tossing Caleb a controller. "Tell me, is the whole ceremony really as long as it seems? I mean Leah talked me into getting some pretty uncomfortable shoes, I need to know how long my feet are going to be bleeding for."

"It takes forever," Caleb told her truthfully.

"Lovely," Sam sighed.

"But it's worth it, you know," Caleb smiled.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," Sam said.

"Anyway, speaking of the wedding," Caleb said. "That is sort of the reason I came over here."

"What about the wedding?" Sam asked.

"Well, I just wanted to tell you," Caleb said slowly. "That I'll be keeping my eyes open the whole time. You know, in case…just in case anything happens."

Sam raised an eyebrow. "You mean in case Marshall pays us a visit?"

"Yeah, in case he shows up," Marshall confirmed. "He'll definitely be in violation of his release if he does, so I'll have him arrested faster before he even knows what happened."

Sam nodded. "Thanks, Caleb."

"Hey, if anything's going to ruin your wedding, it's not going to be him," Caleb told her, giving her shoulder a friendly squeeze. "Now if flower arrangements go wrong or the tablecloths wind up being the wrong color, I can't help you."

"Trust me, between Leah, my sister and Carly, there's no way any of that is gonna happen," Sam laughed.

….

"So, tomorrow's the big day!" Carly said excitedly, taking a sip of her wine. "Sam Puckett becomes Sam's Benson."

Carly had arrived in New York the previous day.

"I know," Sam nodded, sipping her grape juice.

Her, Carly, Leah and Kira were sitting on Sam and Freddie's bed in their bedroom, where Leah was currently finishing up Sam's nails.

"I can't believe you and Freddie are getting married," Carly sighed. "Seems like just yesterday you were giving him a wedgie and stuffing chili dogs down his pants."

"You did that?" Kira grinned.

"Yeah," Sam said, rolling her eyes. "I don't know why, that was such a waste of chili dogs."

"Your mom and Freddie used to go at it all the time," Carly told the twins. "One time your mom actually glued Freddie to a beanbag seat in our old iCarly studio and then proceeded to blast annoying commercial jingles for him to suffer through."

"That's genius!" Kira laughed.

"Don't you even think about it, Kira," Sam smirked. "Besides, I should've used boy band music…much more annoying to him."

"I'm done with your nails, mom," Leah said proudly. "You like them?"

"Yeah, they look better than anything I could've gotten at some dumb salon," Sam replied.

"You're going to have to give me some pointers," Carly said, inspecting Sam's nails. "I can't even do nails this good, and I'm in the cosmetic business!"

"I can do yours too, if you want," Leah said.

"Sure," Carly agreed. "Let me just my finish drink first."

"Kira," Leah said, looking at her twin. "You want me to do your nails?"

Kira made a face, she never let Leah near her with nail polish or any sort of make-up.

"Fine," Leah said, rolling her eyes. "Forget I asked."

"Well…wait," Kira said slowly. "Would-Would you use a color other than pink?"

"I could use my French kit," Leah told her. "There's no colored polish at all."

"Really?" Kira said slowly. "Well, um, can you do that one?"

"You're gonna let me do your nails?" Leah exclaimed, throwing her arms around her sister. "Kira! You're the best!"

"Get off of me," Kira said, though smiling.

Sam watched her daughters, glad for once they were actually getting along.

"So," Carly said as Leah began Kira's nails. "Any pre-wedding jitters?"

"I dunno," Sam said truthfully. "I mean, obviously I'm worried something will go wrong, but-but, I'm actually excited."

"It's your wedding day, you should be," Carly chuckled.

"I never thought I'd be getting married," Sam said softly. "I just figured it wasn't going to happen…and now it's less than twenty-four hours away."

"You and Freddie are made for each other," Carly told her. "And you're going to be so happy spending the rest of your lives together."
