A young man, or maybe not that young anymore, was sitting in his living room, reading a new book his wife has ordered him to, juggling a couple of small spheres with his free hand. The book wasn´t that bad in the end, but he still liked his Lupin books more than detective books. As he sighed irritated, feeling like he was wasting his precious time, the door opened and a small boy, six-seven years old, entered the room calmly.

Smiling a little bit, Kaito greeted the little boy, who sat in front of the older man. The boy´s blue eyes stared at him for a moment, his hair as wild as his father´s, until the magician sighed and asked if something was wrong. "Dad… how did you meet mom? If I recall well, you didn´t go to the same school nor had the same friends…"

Kaito smiled and sighed, wondering why his son wanted to know that. "I´ll tell you, but you must keep it a secret, ok?" As the little boy nodded, his father smiled. "In the past, I used to be somehow… bad. You can say I borrowed things without permission, but I always returned them in the end."

"You were Kid, right? No wonder Saguro-niichan hates you so much…" The man stared at the child´s blue eyes surprised, and a little bit amused, who just grinned at his father´s reaction. "I am not stupid, you know?" Kaito just nodded, and continued. This time, a little bit more careful with his words. Man, his wife genes were scary….

"Well, yes, sorry. As I was saying, one day, or night, I tried to steal something and your mom, wanting to stop me, shot against me! And she was just a teenager then and all... The next time we met she also wanted to catch me and even used fireworks to draw attention of the police about…"

"Okay, okay, that is enough." The child suddenly interrupted, not wanting to see that strange smile on his father´s face again. "I am not interested in your love life…"

"Then why did you ask?" His son was being strange… if he wasn´t interested, then why ask.

The little child smiled kindly at his father, jumping from the chair. "Or teacher asked us to write how our parents met. Don´t worry, I´ll come up with something. No one will believe my father was, or more like still is when mom isn´t around; Kid."

The older man blinked a few times, still wondering how that little rascal could be so smart. But then again, considering who his mother was... "Hey, where is your sister?" Now that he thought about it, where did the other rascal go? The one who liked to prank people as much as he did…

"Oh, she got called to the principal's r office. Saguro-niichan came to our class for a police presentation, and she dyed his hair pink… Mom said I could go home while she talk with her." Kaito smirked. At least his daughter took after him. He would have freaked out if both of the twins took after their mother. "Oh, and you should run…. Mom did forbade you from teaching us more pranks."

The door opened all of sudden, and Kaito palled. His son was right! Oh god, she would be so angry… And as if on cue, a female voice made herself heard. "KAITO!" Jumping up, he quickly tried to reach the window, but the living room door opened and two people entered, one of them an enraged detective.

The male child caught the hand of his sister, dragging her out as their blue-eyed mom jumped to their father´s throat, ready to kill him.

The twins just laughed, walking happily to their room. They looked almost identical, if not by the fact she had violet eyes and soft long hair, just like her mother; and he had blue eyes and messy raven hair, just like his father. And honestly, as they sat at their room, planning what to write, both of them wondered who would believe that the worlds famous detective Kudo Shinichi married the infamous thief and heart-breaker Kaito Kid? No one.

Assasin8: Aside from dating, and now marrying, Kaito, she locked him in a room, stole his clothes so he wouldn´t go after Kaito, knocked him out... and is a better detective than him despite the fact she loved a criminal. XD And many, many other things, which always involve Kaito for some reason...
