"Kaito! Come here!" Someone yelled loudly in a small all white room, with only one bed and window. "I said some here!" The woman repeated, her blue eyes staring angrily at her wounded boyfriend. Because honestly, if he wasn´t wounded, she would have not flew all the way from New York just to see him.
"But Shin-chan, you will yell at me…" The supposedly wounded man stated, appeared to be not so wounded after all as he magically attached himself to the ceiling. Not that it was his fault or anything, but his girlfriend was too scary for him to face her. She had warned him about getting hurt while she wasn´t around… Then again, it wasn´t his freaking fault!
After all, if anyone should be blamed, than it should be that strange psycho who had been stalking his girlfriend for over a month now, and had decided it was time to end his competition´s life, namely, Kaito. Of course he fought back, but the bullet in his stomach sure caught him by surprise… at least he managed to knock the psycho out before passing out. After calling Hakuba that is, not that he knew why… Oh wait, he knew. He had him on quickly call, just in case he left like annoying the hell out of him. Good old times…
"Kaito." Stated the female voice again, blue eyes burning slowly and yet with a promise of violence. He didn´t like those eyes. They were scary, and he didn´t like Shin-chan when she was scary. No, no. His Shin-chan was supposed to laugh every time! "Get down here."
Considering his options, which weren´t bright, Kaito climbed down. It was either get hurt then or just aggravate his injury and end up hurt later with a bigger wound to worry about… Better then then later. "I´m sorry, Shinichi…" The messy haired man apologized, ready for whatever she would do to him. It´s not like she would really hurt him, but maybe she would yell at him and pull his ears as she liked to do so many times…
However, when her delicate arms warped around him and she pulled him into a tight hug… now that surprised him. Wasn't she there to yell at him? "Shin-chan?" Trying to look up, his eyes grew wider and wider with every second, realizing something similar to tears was running down her cheeks. Because that couldn´t happen. Shin-chan didn´t cry. She didn´t do it when a relative died, nor when she was shot, not even when Haibara-san had had told that the probability of getting her body was slim… She did not cry, at least not in front of him.
However, now she was crying, hugging him and letting all her sadness show. "You… idiot…" The poor girl mumbled between tears, holding him closer and closer. "Do you know how worried I was? You were kidnapped… you disappeared… you could have died!" More tears, and more words. "This was the fifty time you were shot! Worry about yourself more... what... Don´t die..."
Blinking, finding it hard to swallow, Kaito slowly put his hands around her. "I´m sorry…" It was all he managed to say, holding the trembling woman in his hands. And she cried, calling him all sorts of names, hitting him weakly from time to time… she just cried. "I am never living you alone again…" Kaito had heard through the mumbles, replaying the same thing.
Later that day, a nurse arrived to change Kaito´s bandages, only to find a pretty woman sleeping next to him, her face still slightly upset, being gently kissed by the said man. "Shhh…" Kaito whispered, smiling like a lazy big cat, not wanting to wake her up. The nurse nodded and went away, her face suddenly burning. Well, she could change the bandages later…
