In Your Dreams

"I'm telling you Kim! You can't beat me!"

"And I'm telling you! You're dreaming Ron!"

Staring intensely at each other from across the kitchen table, our two favorite teenagers have yet to reach an answer to their argument. Kim practically broke the glass of milk in her hand, and Ron's apple turned to mush. It had started out as a simple teasing argument during breakfast, and had quickly escalated to something majorly big.

Ron leaned across the table, giving his signature Ron smile, "I bet I can stay awake longer than you can!"

Oh so now it was a challenge? Well rule number one – never challenge a Possible!

Kim smirked back, a deep fire burning in her eyes, "You're on!"

And so skip with many, many, many, gruesome hours later, 3 days in fact!

In the Possible leaving room around midnight, Kim and Ron kept trying various things to keep themselves awake. The TV had turned out to be too mind-numbing and neither teen didn't want to take the chance to watch. And then there would have been exercising as a good idea, if the idea of exhaustion hitting them didn't linger in their frail teen minds. Nope! All that was left to do was small tedious task to stay awake.

In the corner of the living room, Kim could be seen doing something to keep herself awake. Her eyes carried heavy bags, a shade of black surrounding them, as she practiced her stances, by which were pathetic due to her exhaustion. Her movements were sloppy and her footwork, not the best. The girl fell a few times in fact. In all, the sitch was not good.

"Psst," echoed a mysterious voice from behind Kim.

In red alert, Kim jumped back to see her brother Tim smiling at her mischievously, "Tim," she lowered her weak guard, "What are you doing awake? And what's with the bunny suit?"

His eyebrows rose, as too his arms onto his chest. Clearly Kim's mind was fighting on reserve fumes for the last time he checked; he was not wearing a bunny suit. A fatigue mind is a funny thing, "I could ask you the same thing sis?"

The teen hero glared, "You k-know why I'm awake."

The twin shrugged, "That I do. So," he stretched, "how's the competition going?"

"Fine," grumbled the sleepy girl. She swayed back in forth, fighting the urge to fall over. Kim doubted she could stay awake anymore than another hour or two.

"Really," he playfully mocked, leaning against the wall, "It seems to me you can barely stand?"

Kim glared harder, holding onto the wall, "Tweeb, what do you want?"

The younger boy plopped off the wall, his devious smile growing, "To offer you some help," he raised his hands in defense, "And before you say that's cheating! I mean to offer you some helpful advice. Instead of just waiting for Ron to fall asleep why don't you just help push him to there? You know like playing the world's most boring documentary or something?"

Kim raised her finger to protest when then she stopped to think about it. Tim's idea seemed like a good one. True the idea was downright cruel and un-sportsmanship likes, but they never did set up any rules of any kind. Besides dammit, she wanted to win!

Before the girl could answer back, her brother had vanished. She blinked in disbelief. Was Tim even there in the first place, or had her eyes played cruel tricks on her – again. Real or not, the idea was just too good to throw away, and left Kim with only one option.

To play dirty!

Smirking, Kim whistled away, searching for ideas to use against poor unlucky Ron.

Speaking of Ron.

At the other corner of the living room, he was busy drawing many doodles in his notebook. Drawing seemed to make him not think of sleeping much easier, but barely. His drawings were horrible to say the least, and one could either be a pie or a box on fire. Or something between the two, it didn't really matter.

Ron didn't know how much longer he could stay awake. His eye lids were so heavy, and the couch, the chair, and hell even the floor looked positively comfortable. But no! Ron Stoppable had to win this game! No matter what it takes!

So he continued to draw his atrocity of a box for all to see.

"Psst," Ron's head swirled to see Jim against wall, smiling equally as deviously as his brother had.

...

"Oh Ron," cooed out Kim from the living room, in her hand a book and in her other a few notebooks. Ron's head popped out from the corner of the kitchen. She grinned as brightly as possible, which looked sick and wrong with her dark bags between her eyes. "I thought we might as well as get some studying done for Mr. Barkin's Latin test on Tuesday."

The teen boy groaned he hated studying; it always bored him to death, especially Latin. Oh why did he have to sign them up for that class again?! Why!

Kim coughed, moving to the living room floor, "What are you doing in there anyways Ron," asked the teen hero, "Making some cheese flavor sandwiches?"

It was Ron's turn to grin, "Oh just making some snacks," he came out with a plate of double chocolate chip cookies and two cups of milk, "Thought we might get hungry." Ron grinned wider when he saw Kim's eyes widen at the mere mention of her favorite type of cookie.

Pouting her lip, Kim sat down on the floor waiting for Ron to sit next to her. She threw a few pillows down for their heads to rest on. Ok all she had to do was bore Ron to sleep with a nice comfy and pillow, and wham, she wins. Easy enough.

Ron sat down placing the snacks next to her, making sure she got the warm milk and heavy fitted triple dose of chocolate chip cookies. His milk was cold, and his cookies very light. Ok all he had to do was get Kim to eat enough of her snacks for her knock out. Easy enough.

Lying on the floor, they both rested their heads on the pillows staring at the Latin books. Kim smirked when within the first 5 minutes of studying Ron was trying very hard not to fall asleep. She too had the same problem, but it didn't come close to Ron's loathe of books. Kim could take a little soul draining reading compared to her lazy counterpart. Grinning for her victory in the bag, Kim picked up one of her cookies taking a bite. She immediately enjoyed the flavor, and wanted to drown it with her milk. Quickly grabbing the glass the tired hero girl took a huge gulp of her warm milk, quickly feeling the liquid travel down towards her throat and into her inviting stomach.

All too soon Kim could feel the warm milk rest so snuggly in her tummy, and the pillow her head laid on felt was so comfortable. Slowly her vision became blurry with every passing second, and the weight on her eye lids increased in size.

But she fought on, now wanting to lose.

Minutes passed and no progress had been made. In neither studying or dirty play. And Kim was getting another craving for some milk and cookies.

Sighing quietly, the hero took another gulp of her ice cold milk, and felt the ice cold liquid swirl within her mouth. Wait a tick? Ice cold milk? Cookies? She looked at the glass in her hands and then her original one. One happened to be cold the other or hers was warm. Actually hers was the perfect temperature for bed time stories! And the cookies – Kim's cookies were bigger and had bigger chunks of chocolate!

"Hey!" Kim yelled, jumping off the floor, barely holding her balance, "You're trying to push a warm bedtime snack on me!"

Ron jumped as well, just as angry, "Well you're trying to get me to study!"

They stared at each other, silent for the most part. Kim's tired eyes meeting Ron equally as tired ones. Both bottling with rage, and trying to imagine when they had changed outfits.

"Cheater!" Kim called out.

"I know you are but what am I?" he fought back.

"GWA maniac!"

"Craze Cuddle buddies fanatic!"

"Smarty Mart shopper!"

"Bubble Butt!"

"Aaahhh!"

Lunging at Ron, Kim tackled him back, wrapping her arms around his neck in a headlock, with Ron doing likewise. Both fighting off fatigue and each other at the same time, they hit a few things and the wall a couple of times, in their constant struggles. Eventually their little dispute ended them up on the couch, still posed in headlocks.

"Give up Ron!" Kim demanded on top of Ron's body.

He struggled with Kim on top of his body, "No you give up KP!"

They fought like this for a few minutes.

...

Grinning and flashing a few pictures with the camera, Tim and Jim hive fived each other in another job well done. There on the couch were the sleeping and snoring forms of their sister on top of her guy best friend. Kim and Ron's hair was ruffled, and their clothes unkempt. Each had their arms wrapped around the other's neck in a very inappropriate position and on the couch. Of course the boys knew exactly what had happened the night before, nothing gag worthy, but that didn't mean everyone else did. And from the positions they were in, well, rumors spread very fast.

"Blackmail," Tim asked.

"Blackmail," Jim nodded.

"Hicka Bicka Boo?"

"Hoo-Sha!"
