Surprise

"Oh I can't wait to see my surprise Ron," Kim delightful cooed. She turned her head eyes covered by a blindfold, but that didn't stop her from pouting, "C'mon Ron. Just one hint to what my surprise is?"

For the past few minutes Ron Stoppable had been leading his best friend by the shoulders through an obstacle of various turns and streets, occasionally bumping Kim into a wall here and there. Luckily for him KP was too ecstatic for her surprise to be angry at him. Oh how that will quickly change soon.

Ron fought the pout head on at full force. He was glad that he couldn't see her innocent eyes or he would've caved in an instant. Instead the teen shook his head, pushing her through a door and into a long hallway.

"Sorry KP," Ron disagreed, not slowing a bit. In fact, he seemed that have pushed her faster, "But you will have to wait until we get there. It wouldn't be a real surprise if I told you. Now would it?"

Kim pouted harder, turning her head in a quick swish with her hair flipping against Ron's face. She folded her arms beneath her chest, grumbling things too low for her friend to hear. Ron smiled at her stubbornness, but that's what made her Kim. The girl always wanted to be on top of things. So it came to no surprise her stubbornness would peek out.

"Fine," she pouted grumpy.

Kim wondered if she would like her surprise.

Ron fought the urge to laugh at the cute face she was making.

He continued pushing her through the hallway, passing many doors through the stroll. Every now and then a small sound would escape into the hall perking the teen hero. Her anticipation was growing as too her greedy nature to find out whatever surprises her best friend had cooked up for her. The wait was majorly frustrating. And she wanted to know. Now!

The nervous sidekick finally spotted Kim's family across the by an open door. They looked at the teen with equally anxious glares, worried how Kimmie would react to her surprise. But this needed to be done. Swallowing, Ron continued to push the giddy Kim through the hall, making sure to not bump her into her parents or the side of the wall. Each of them remained deathly quiet.

Kim's sense immediately picked up the smell of freshness in the air. It was nice, but in a small way suffocating. Her ears intercepted the sound of malicious ticking coming from the room. It felt familiar and not in a good way. Even the air tasted different – bland, a bit murky too.

"Almost there KP," Ron told her, adding a bit more pressure to her shoulders.

Kim's other senses picked up Ron's nervousness as he held her shoulders more firmly. She caught the edginess in his voice. He was nervous. But why? Kim didn't think much of it until she was pushed through another door way. She cursed the blindfold for hiding her sense of sight. If only the hero girl could see. She felt the goose bumps on her body start to rise. That was never a good sign.

Ron led her through one more door way and Kim's hero instincts immediately kicked into high gear, telling the adolescent girl to run for her life. The hairs on her body rose up in fear. And if Kimberly had ever learned one thing in her life, it was too trust her instincts! And right at that moment her instincts were telling her to run!

Without any warning, she quickly tried to get out of Ron's grip and Ron swiftly rebuttal by holding her in a strong bear hug. She tried kicking her feet up, hoping to get Ron to lessen his hold on her. Kim even started to shake violently in his hold, but he was adamant.

"She's trying to run!"

And just like that Kim felt many pairs of arms grab her legs, lifting off the floor. Kim shouted for them to let her go, unable to still see who was holding her. And then it happened – she was pushed down onto a chair. A chair that felt so bad, so majorly wrong, that Kim could feel the start of a cold sweat start to break out. She tried harder to break free, but the arms held her firmly down.

"Ah, Kimberly," an old voice chimed, causing Kim to stop in fear. "It's so good to see you again. Here for your daily check up I see."

That voice. She recognized that voice. No! It couldn't be!

"D-Dr. Payne," she chocked, feeling her muscles constrict in fear.

In the moment that she was paralyzed by despair, she was tied down to the chair with straps of some kind. Kim coming out of mental lapse tried to fight back, but it was too late. Her struggles were in vain. She couldn't move her arms or legs and a few straps tightly secured her waist and upper torso.

She was completely helpless.

Now no longer having the ability to escape, Ron removed the blindfold. He was immediately met with the sight of his best friend's terrified eyes and lip biting. He could see the sweat drip down her neck and the fear in her breathing.

The teen felt bad. He knew how scared of the dentist KP got. Of all the scary and craze things she's witnessed in her life, nothing has been able to strike fear in her except for the scary notion of an average dentist. It was almost funny if it wasn't so ironic.

Kim's emerald eyes adjusted to the sudden light before she spotted Ron and her family in the same room, giving her sorry looks. She looked between them all before resting her sight at Ron with a burning glare. The rest of the family decided to creep out the room at that second of chance.

"Ron!" Kim yelled, wishing she could move her hands to strangle her best friend.

"Hehe," he nervously laughed, throwing his arms up in a pathetic attempt, "Surprise KP."

"Ronald Dean Stoppable! Get me out of this chair right now!" she ordered in a Kim Possible teen hero voice. The girl waited patiently for him to release her of the holds, but he remained motionless. The non-acknowledgement of her order made a small ball of fear grow in her chest.

"Ron," suddenly her voice lost some of its Kimmie-ness. Hearing her voice break, he nervously stepped towards the door in a retreat. Noting his escape, the hero girl felt a cold touch run down her spine. Oh no!

"R-Ron?" Kim in response tried to kick her feet up as the hero side of her vanished, "Don't go! Get me out of this! Please! We could do whatever you want! Go to B-Bueno Nacho! Or we could? W-We could go watch the new Bricks of Fury III movie! I heard they have 30 percent more bricks! Anything!"

In a sad attempt to bargain her way out, Ron frowned at the predicament his best friend was in. Looking away from her, he sighed defiantly, "Sorry KP," he apologized before stepping out the door.

The girl's body didn't stop shaking. He left her? Ron left her. Plain and simple. He left her to deal with this –!

"So Kimberly," reluctantly the girl turned her head towards the voice, shaking with fear. "It's about time we get started on checking those teeth missy. Don't want to get any cavities, now do we," the man chuckled lightly, finding it amusing how they got her to the dentist this time.

He was fully aware of Kimberly's stubbornness to come to the dentist and he found it comical. And till this day he will never understand teenagers.

Dr. Payne walked over to his drawer while the bound Kim Possible was left to watch him shift through his dentist instruments. The light sounds of metal moving in the drawer caused her to gasp each and every time. To her Dr. Payne was the only villain that can strike fear in the great Kim Possible's heart. And what's worse, he did it without breaking a sweat.

To what everyone saw was just a caring old dentist just trying to make an honest living. He had a grandfather smile and could tell the silliest story. But to what a certain red headed girl saw. Well that was on a whole other plain of sick and wrong. Ever since day one, she had been petrified at even the mention of a dentist. And today was no exception.

What she saw the old sweet man as would make Ron's imagination seem normal compared to others. Instead of a nice smile she saw a malicious grin with the old man having a row of shark teeth. Those soft old eyes might as well come from one of Senor Senior's alligators. The light sound of his voice to her could melt glass and screech chalk boards. Sometimes she imagined him laughing like a craze lunatic who escaped prison preparing to drill holes in his victims mouth. Then there was that white coat that looked suspiciously made for the people who worked at the morgue. And his scuffles of gray hairs looked like they were alive, dancing around his head like snakes. But that wasn't the worst of it.

Oh no, definitely not the worst of it.

His dentist tools – the mirror that she felt purposely located something wrong with her to tease her, haunted her thoughts. The scalpel used to scratch her from the inside. The mouth guard to keep her from screaming in pure terror. And the low doses of anesthesia so she couldn't fight back. All of it! They were pure evil. Tools her mission gadgets stood no chance against – tools that could easily strike her with fear – and tools that were meant to hurt her... or worse.

The old kind man walked over to Kimberly, moving the light above her head to get a better view of her. He sat down in a chair besides her, placing down his dental equipment. Personally he thought the weird face Kimberly was making was pleasant and smiled warmly at her.

Grabbing his mirror and scalpel, he moved closer to her.

"Now, say 'ahhhh' please."

Kim Possible felt her chest compress.

She didn't like her surprise.
