This was inspired by the latest issue of Shocket that dropped yesterday which my friend who's reading it and describing it plus that Rocke and Shocket have a really sweet goddad and cub thing going on and wanted to write something to do with it.

So in this one, it's after what we imagine is the defeat of Captain R and the Rockets are back on the Christmas planet I like to call Yuleworld but Rocke is helping her with thijgs like Lijda but takes her to his house in Japan for a bit which is adorable

"I can't believe we're back in Yuleworld with nobody trying to kidnap us, you know." Rockie said drinking mulled wine.

"Yeah wait is Shockie okay by herself, we should go check on her." Nate said makijg Rocke agree.

It was a few weeks after the mission and the galaxy was safe but they had returned to Yuleworld to have dinner together but Rocke saw Shocket by herself at a table guessing she was blogging seeing her eating stuffing grinning sitting beside her making her surprised was there something he wanted.

"I noticed you were by yourself and felt bad for you." he told her putting cranberry sauce on her turkey knowing how she liked it after last time unaware the other Rockets had joined them astounding Shocket feeling a warm but good feeling in her heart as they were hugging her, it was making her feel better after everything she'd been through recently. and had the candy-cane blaster just in case somebody tried to hurt them.

"Thanks everybody as this makes me feel better you know." she told them drinkin hot cocoa which was her go to beverage on rainy days and during the holidays enjoying their sort of holiday making something cross her mind saying they'd found each other just like her dad and his friends which Rocke got being in the Guardians of the World getting an ideaperforming making them happy as Shocket blogged this giggling, seeing the others happy she was feeling better knowing when she returned home, she had Linda to deal with something she wasn't ready for which Rocke got along with the other Rockets but exchanged looks.

After a bit, they were back in Shocket's ship, only most Of them had to go home which she understood but feltva lump in her furry throat as Rocke took deep-breaths knowing this was hard for her hearing sniffles stroking her soft tangerine-pink mohawk seeing her relaxing in his arms, he was just as sweet, big and brave like her dad hearing him encourage her to take deep-breaths which she was doijg.

"Feeling better." he said softly in his British-accented voice which was soothing to her ear.

"Uh-huh thanks as I know you guys have to go home to loved ones but what if he comes after you again, plus I need help to deal with things." she said in between deep-breaths.

"I know but you have a very good heart plus there's something you should know, if you love something, set it free if it comes back, she's meant to be yours, if you get my drift Shockie, I love you as if you're my own cub." Rocke told her seeing her quiet, thinking about what he'd just said guessing he meant Linda kissing her head like Rocket did at night

The ship was quiet now, as the others had been beamed one by one back to their dimensions but she wanted to take Rocke home to Japan herself but saw it was early morning and he was about to meditate having this feeling of wanting to join him putting the ato-pilot on sitting on the floor beside him making him grin, leading it explaining to her that in meditation, you fouhd your happy-place

"Rocke, I don't know, what if Incan't find it." she mumbled.

"Don't worry, you will." he said softly taking deep-breaths, doing so but finding herself in darkness at first and negative voices which made her flinch but then she saw light like she was in a tunnel following it seeing Yuleworld alomg with those she loved including the other Rockets especially Rocke feeling good all over her body feeling peaceful humming which Rocke could hear.

Rocke saw a grin on her furry face guessing she'd found her happy place as the ship was hovering over his mansion scooping her up gently after docking it in his garage, entering the house

"Dada back, dada back." he heard two young, squeaky voices said making him chuckle.

"Awwww hey sweeties, yes I'm back but we'll talk inna bit." he told them, putting Shocket on the couch, finding a peace-sign blankie wrapping it around her kissing her heas before entering the kitchen seeing both Pipers hug him as they'd missed him so had been listening to him explaining impressing them while he was making them breakfast giving John and Juilet hot cocoa butvsaving some forvShocket when she woke up, guessing she was in her newly discovered happy place.

After a bit, Shocket began to stir feeling groggy but good wondering where she was until shevsaw Rocke in the kitchen hugging him making him smile hearing her stomach growling, as he put GrootvMorning pancakes on a plate pouring coffee into a mug putting it in front of her seeing her smile a bit as he was explaining why he'd brought her here hearing John and Juilet fighting over toys entering the room.

"Hey, hey yountwo, we don't fight over toys in this house, we share in this house.." he told them making Shocket smile at both lil cubs because they were just playing blogging making Rocke smile knowing Rocket and the others would watch it,

"John and Juilet are a little excited to see me, but how're you feeling after sleeping, and finding your happy place." he asked her.

"Good, it was Yuleworld and the others were there, I felt really good." she told him.

"I'm so happy to hear that, plus the others and I were messaging each other and were asking about you." he told her making her surprised asking what they'dsaid making Rocke smile at her response.

"Rockuswas wondering if you were sleeping okay, Nate was asking if you're practicing your aim but the others were worrying about you." he said to her squeezing her pawmaking that warm feeling that had happened when the other Rockets had hugged her returning smiling which surprised Rocke guessing he and the others could be like her other family from other dimensions warming her heart at that thought.

"Y-Yeah I like that thought." she told him yawning.

"Wow you're back, Ducky's gonna be so happy you're back." Shocket heard Bree say a few days later after she'd returned to the New Warriors apartment after persuasion from Rocke taking deep-breaths hearing the name she had called Linda for many years.

"I just wanna be alone forva bit, okay as I just got back, she's probably with her new girlfriend." she told her surprising the she-Hulking seeing Shocket in a spare-room impressed her goijg to tell the others stunning them that Shocket was back but had chosen an new room for herself but right now, she was lying on the bed looking at the photo of her and the other Rockets on Yuleworld which made her smile yawning falling asleep thinking about thijgs.
