Bolin heArt jumped out of his chest when he heard the growls from inside.

"What was that?" Jinora asked, her eyes growing wide.

" I don't know, should we go in?" Bolin turned and asked Jinora. The two ran through the open door and through the halls, hearing the yelling.

bolin found Verrick standing, staring somewhere. It was too dark for Bolin to see. Bolin asked Verrick, "Whats going on?"

"The dragon, it was still alive," Verrick answered. His voice was missing that tone he usually had. It just seemed flat. Bolin looked around, waiting for the dragon to pop out, attack him.

"Where is it?" Bolin asked.

"You see, that's the problem," Verrick said. "We kind of kept an eye on it for a bit, but we lost it," Verrick's shoulders sllumped just a bit at the end.

"How do you lose a dragon?" Bolin's asked slowly.

"Well, it went down a hall, but it kind of" Verrick scratched the back of his head, "ipped away."

"You do realize that the dragon was humongous, right?" Bolin asked, still confused upon how in the world the could have managed to lose a dragon.

I don't get it, that body belonged to me, Ben Dan said.

i don't know, maybe it belonged to a different dragon.

No, it was mine, I recognized it. It cant just get up and walk away without me, that just can't happen.

Maybe the other dragon just looked like you, there could always be others, you know that right?

I was the last dragon of my kind, one of the last know dragons. They wouldn't kill off very many of us. After all, people will start to notice if very many dragons went missing. We are a dying race.

we need to find it, after we do, we can find answers. Though we may not want to hear them.

BOlin could feel that Ben Dan didn't want to, but he couldn't do anything about it. After all, Ben Dan lost control of Bolin'a body. And he was never going to get it back.

Never say never.

shut up.

Bolin followed heavily armed men down a hall, following the voices claiming that they knew where the dragon was, Bolin hoped that rthis wouldn't lead to a dead end.

"Come on, I think that I heard something," yelled a guard ahead. Bolin picked up his pace and rushed to the head of the group, though Jinora was the one pushing and shoving.

"Do you see anything?" asked BoLin to Jinora. She shook her head.

"no, the dragon must have left," said Jinora. BoLin signed and rubbed the back of his head, hearing his hair rustle.

"We have to keep looking," BoLin said, pushing past the othets and running down a different hall.

"BoLin, wait," Jinora yelled. Bolin turned around.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"where are you going," she asked.

"I'm finding the dragon."

"They will find him, you don't have to strain yourself," she said. Jinora walked towards him, reaching for him. He stepped away.

"No, I have to find him on my own."

"Why?"

"Because, it's just something I own someone," he replied.

"Something you owe someone, huh?" Jinora crossed her arms, looking rather determined.

"Yeah, Jinora, look, I don't what to do this. I need you, always. But this time, I need to do this on my own," he said, close to tears. He didn't want to say this to her.

"it sounds like you're saying goodbye," she said, looking down at the ground.

"I didn't drag you all the way out here just to leave you," he said.

"no, I guess you didn't, but you can't help it if you die. You just will, and there'a nothing I can do," she said. It hurt Bolin, hearing those words. It was as if she already was preparing for his death.

"You aren't just talking about searching for the dragon, are you?"

"Bolin," she signed shaking her head. BoLin was worried she might start yelling at him. "You been doing some dangerous thing lately, I just don't want to get hurt, or worse."

"I'm not planning on dying," Bolin said, taking Jinora into his arms and softly hugged her.

"i know you aren't planning on dying," he said, rubbing her back softly.

"Im sorry," he said after a while.

"For what?" she asked, looking up at Bolin's face, seeing kindness, but also something else, something she couldn't place.

"I don't know, I just thought that was what you were supposed to say in these situations," He smiled down at her.

"Really?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, by still had that little, cute smile that pretty much spelled trouble, but it all the more made her interesting.

"Of course I am," he smiled, she rolled her eyes, her expression laughing,.

a growl rage though the Halls. Bolin turned and ran down the hall.

"Bolin, wait," Jinora called out. Bolin didn't turn back but kept running, his heart pounding something fierce.

Ge continued to run when he was met with a large, electric blue, connecting to an even larger body, which could barely squeeze through the hall it was trapped it.

"Ben Dan, is that you?" Bolin asked the spirit.

It could be, but I cant recognize it by its backside. We need to go to the front, can you do that?

"Without getting bit? I doubt it," Bolin replied.

Just try, I wont ask anything else of you, said he.

"Sure," he said, not quite believing what the dragon spirit was saying. He sucked in his stomach as much as he could and snuck past the small gamp between the wall and the dragon.

he thought that he was doing pretty good, until he reached the stamach, the beast turned his head as much as he could, but wasn't quite able to see Bokin.

Bolin turned and ran, the beast followed. Chasing him down the hall. Jinora saw him running down the hall and started to ask a question when he pulled her away and ran down the hall.

they found a boom closet and hiD. Trying to ifnire the dragon growling as it search for Bolin.
